I have just started eight very different varieties of spinach in container pots. I'm looking forward to eating the dark purple one. I also have 12 different kinds of tomatoes to be started this week. Besides the traditional beefsteak I also have the black beauty, blue beauty and other bluish and black tomatoes. I also have the seeds for a bok choy variety called purple lady. Search on that website for the word purple and you'll see there are many varieties of blue food with this extra nutrient and flavor.
