Next step will be delisting of sites they don’t like. Peeps best start saving IP addresses. I know we’ve discussed this before, but now it’s game time.
Just a thought that probably already has been done to some degree. Someone should compile (or collective group) and create a spreadsheet that can be shared/downloaded and printed for the masses should no one know how to access any specific sites later on.
This kind of stuff may sound useful but a lot of websites use hosting providers where the website owner does not own the public IP address they're using and the IP address can change at any time, smaller hosting providers would have to give a warning to the website since they may be configuring their public DNS manually but a lot of websites do it automatically so saving an IP address might not be as useful as you expect.
There is also the issue of hosting providers not allowing direct access of the IP address associated with DNS, you can test this by trying to access greatawakening.win itself by using its IP address over port 80 and you will just get an error message.
Even noted problems with freespoke as well. The research is all being throttled and manipulated. Unless you know exactly what you are looking for, you're not likely to find it using a general search - not like days gone by.
I do a lot of research and things are getting worse. They seem to be making changes about every 6 months. I believe we are going through another one of these changes and some are noticing. These are incremental changes that will go unnoticed by those not looking for anything but the most superficial information. The stuff does not seem to be scrubbed, but it is so buried that a search is not likely to pull it up like it used to. Q said to archive offline. Otherwise, we will have no way of knowing what is actually out there.
its a decentralized search engine. i run an instance on a raspberry pi @ my house. there are millions of people running their own nodes, and it all works without a centralized hub. it is the future of search engines.
It shows just how small their worlds have become. They are like hamsters, going back and forth between the wheel (work, paying taxes) and the feed dispenser (propaganda from MSM / social media).
And what's crazy... is when I was writing the title of this post, I anticipated our very own Anons commenting, "Oh this isn't new." without even watching the video.
The DS uses our jadedness against us, so we turn each other away. Don't let this happen! They always try to use our actions against us!
If Anons & the patriot community could drop the self-righteous 'I already knew that' attitude, we could reach a lot more people with the truth. Not saying every anon is guilty but that mentality is far too common.
Ego, pride, know it all. Only because it's semi relevant to the comment...I just landed my dream job and during the process of the interviews, I told the board that I don't have all the answers, never will and never want to...something along those lines. I build a team who complements me and I'm always learning and therefore don't have all the answers. I think it worked well. I was confident in my skill set but as a leader also know I don't have all the knowledge and skills to do it all on my own. Nothing happens alone, it's the team that wins in the end.
I just wanted to let you know that I have glossed over the post multiple times without thinking it is anything new, until I finally read past the initial words in the title to read your insurance that this is something new, and I am now intrigued and have this saved for later. I was thinking maybe if the first words my mind read were how this is something new to preface the title of what this is, instead of afterwards, I’d have not so nearly missed it.
I have been using Presearch lately as its meant to be fairly uncensored but i tend to use a couple of the normal ones when needed as well.
Presearch
There is also yacy which is a peer 2 peer search engine that you can run and take part in scraping the web, its a pretty cool project and with everything getting shutdown and controlled all the time we may need to move to stuff like this in the future.
I was looking for more info on The world‘s fair in Chicago but multiple search engines really only gave me a handful of results they were up to eight pages but i kept getting only mainstreamish results no real blog or ofganic content. it was disheartening because i knew the internet was being pruned but its truly feeling empty when looking for real web content.
It has gotten really crappy for anyone used to doing real research. Everything is very narrow scope and mainstream. Unless you know specifically what you want, you are not likely to find it using general search terms anymore. I have my own tests I do to check the level of difficulty at locating certain websites and articles. Some I have had to type in the title exactly to find what I first stubbled upon through general searching. It is out there, it is just buried. I can see at some point things will start disappearing due to lack of traffic - deliberate.
I know this is happening, as Ive been stumbling upon missing information (if that's possible) by accident for a few weeks now.
For instance, the most notable one for me was trying to find out about the movie where Tom Hanks is depicted as Saul Alinsky. Ive SEEN the trailer. There is no info about this movie anymore. Not a single image of Tom Hanks in character and it's not listed on his Wiki or IMDB. Its gone.
I'm of the opinion that everything online -- in this instance the trailers, pictures and no mention in serp -- has had an invisible tag attached to it via pixel or otherwise (essentially to organize content into what, and where) to make information control and deletion quick and across the board.
Wow. That is a prime example. I didn't know Tom Hanks played Saul Alinsky in a movie. Any information on what the movie was called and when it debuted?
Damn. Look at the similarity between nose and lips. Its Hanks actually related to Alinsky?
I was mistaken. I believe it's from a movie called Bridge of Spies. I don't think he was portraying Alinsky, but based on the similar "look", I wouldn't have known without looking further into it.
I guess it explains why no results for Hanks/Alinsky pop up.
Thx man! Ive been looking everywhere for that photo
Yes, they gladly complied with sanctions placed on them by the government where they operate.
Because they didn't have a choice, you fucking smooth brained numbskull.
Do you not get how internet laws work?
THEY ARE BASED IN FRANCE. FRENCH COMPANY.
Use. Yandex (Russian owned. Based in Russia) for Russian stuff.
Do not make me tell your dumb ass again
Use Yandex exclusively if it bothers you that much.
Yeah, you used to be able to search something and get exact results. Now you get a bunch of vaguely-related propaganda that they want you to see. Same with YouTube, the search algorithms have been severely dumbed-down.
https://qalerts.app/?n=777
I use this as the litmus test of what is
"wanted to exist the way it does and has forever".
I have a patent for a nice, shiny new search engine.
Nobody wants to invest in it.
Anyone here want to invest in it?
See?
Next step will be delisting of sites they don’t like. Peeps best start saving IP addresses. I know we’ve discussed this before, but now it’s game time.
For those that don't know how to do this:
Something tells me you ARE_ADMIN.
Hehehe
Just a thought that probably already has been done to some degree. Someone should compile (or collective group) and create a spreadsheet that can be shared/downloaded and printed for the masses should no one know how to access any specific sites later on.
If I get a large lost of sites, I can make a script to do this really fast and I can post the results.

Darn
Then will come DNS level censorship. Start looking up the IP addresses of websites you frequent.
If they could take down epik hosting they would have done it by now.
It hosts gab and also this whole site.
I use google for inconsequential things like crafting, cooking, gardening. Yandex for everything else and multiple search engines for deep research.
have recently been experimenting with freespoke and it seems ok so far
Even noted problems with freespoke as well. The research is all being throttled and manipulated. Unless you know exactly what you are looking for, you're not likely to find it using a general search - not like days gone by.

there is one less ominous, but more annoying, thought.
that they are simply cutting costs on a free service. we know that their ad revenue is down, so why wouldn't they cut corners in other ways?
perhaps we will be needing to move back to directory style services like AltaVista.
Same. I use Qwant too, but thats been kind of crappy lately.
check out the presearch project
its a decentralized search engine. i run an instance on a raspberry pi @ my house. there are millions of people running their own nodes, and it all works without a centralized hub. it is the future of search engines.
What's made it creepy? Not familiar at all with qwant
I still think it's fine tbh.
It's a "neutral" search engine. So you'll still get some results that are good and some that are not.
For example searching "aflds" gives tons of good results. But also a Time magazine hit piece towards the bottom of the page.
Used qwant about one day. Didn't notice any difference. Same crappy search results.
Me too, although I'm thinking of not even using it for those things lately. Why give them my "business " for anything
https://www.startpage.com/
Use that instead of Google. It will get the same results.
Use this for that instead: https://www.startpage.com/
You'll get the same results.
Wild how this goes unnoticed by the majority.
It shows just how small their worlds have become. They are like hamsters, going back and forth between the wheel (work, paying taxes) and the feed dispenser (propaganda from MSM / social media).
Lord, let your children all soon be set free.
And what's crazy... is when I was writing the title of this post, I anticipated our very own Anons commenting, "Oh this isn't new." without even watching the video.
The DS uses our jadedness against us, so we turn each other away. Don't let this happen! They always try to use our actions against us!
The DS will exploit any weakness we give them...

Allegory of the Cave
I've been on that Cave allegory a lot lately:

https://greatawakening.win/p/15JAv4OG2L/x/c/4OcQZ7nA8Yv
Oh they are, big time! The masses are manipulated without even giving it a second thought.
Russian Yandex FTW

Thanks fren. Every little bit helps. This is getting really bad.
Bright Insights YouTube channel has been on this for awhile now.
I'll check them out.
I use BRAVE
I was looking for more info on The world‘s fair in Chicago but multiple search engines really only gave me a handful of results they were up to eight pages but i kept getting only mainstreamish results no real blog or ofganic content. it was disheartening because i knew the internet was being pruned but its truly feeling empty when looking for real web content.

Thank you MODS. Our unsung heroes. o7
Man, I've been noticing this myself but never had a chance to prove it like thus guy did in this video. Thanks for sharing
Show your friends and family!

I dont even see anything on Yandex about it.
Closest I can find is this picture:

Stunning and so sad.
Well since we're talking about search engines.
I like Qwant
I also use Yandex from time to time just because it's the least censored.
Qwant gladly complied with the EU to censor Russian news sites.
They didn't have a choice
They are based in france and were legally obligated to by EU law.
Just have to use Yandex for that stuff
As I said, they gladly submitted, not out of obligation.
Yes, they gladly complied with sanctions placed on them by the government where they operate.

FWIW, I saw Freespoke being suggested on Truth. I tried it and it's pretty good but I'm not sure who owns it.
https://freespoke.com/
i noticed this a few weeks ago
Is Qwant a good one? I just know they dont track and I seem to get different search results using that one.
It's "better" but I've noticed it's been suffering lately.
Yandex will get you all the spicy results.
True dat about Yandex.
