I've seen women anywhere from their 20s up through their 50s (and beyond) wearing shit nobody with a speck of self respect would wear ... and I am a proud, genuine, 100% pig :-) ... you'd think I'd want to see that shit!!!
I’ve always hated Halloween — even as a child - I think I had some kind of intuition and now I hate it even more now because I know what it stands for !!!
When I had my child I thought to myself - how stupid are us parents that spend money on costumes and send your kids to accept candy FROM STRANGERS but the rest of the year telling the kids not to — is that twisted or what. I could buy my child all the candy he wants — I don’t need a stranger giving it to him !!!
I went to the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal in Orlando. I can say that without a shadow of a doubt, the intent is Satanic in nature. Just walking in, they had a big ol Satan asking for worship and people clapping around him. That's as satanic as it gets and you could see normies clapping like seals. I went there because my girlfriend is a normies leaning liberal and we wanted to go to universal for the rides, but they were closing early because of the HHN, so we extended the ticket to stay longer. Total scam IMHO, but she liked it
I’ve occasionally wondered the same. But if ur going to go down that road, then don’t have a Christmas tree, color Easter eggs (fill a basket) or celebrate St. Patty’s day, etc.
I think intent has a lot to do with it. And ultimately, it’s up to you.
Gotquestions.org has a good article on this for the Christian.
I am the same way, I never was into Halloween. Of course as a kid I loved all the candy, but never was excited about the dress up and stuff. Later when I had kids, my husband always did mostly everything with them for it. I stayed home and handed out candy. Now that they are grown and gone I don't do anything regarding it. Not even candy, no decorations. The whole holiday always just bored me.. I must have missed something regarding the satanic information on it. Although it has always been satanic like. Does anyone have a link to what is being discussed or information on it ?
For me, going to have to skip it this year but, for another reason. After seeing that mass amount of fentanyl being circulated in candy looking form, way too dangerous.
Same as ever, the original LARP night. People don't have to play demons. I remember much more creative efforts, like being a knight in armor. Or a cowboy, or a flapper, or cats.
What grosses me out are the adults that get so into it. It is the 2nd largest retail sales holiday after Christmas.
What yhe he'll is wrong with these people who don't want to act their age
Accompany your children, travel in well lit groups with responsible adults. Don't scare the kids. Encourage them to have fun and be respectful of the homes they visit.
Personally, I don't celebrate any of the typical Christian holidays and especially Halloween. I am not a Jew but I do observe what people call the Jewish Holy days though they are NOT Jewish. In the Bible, God calls the the Feasts of the Lord and since they are a foreshadow of God's plan of salvation, we observe them but not in a manner of legalism. We understand the meaning behind these feasts and what they show for the future as written in the scriptures. Now all you anti Jews pile on and down vote this one! KEK
This is what our household does as well, but we do teach them about church history and Martin Luther's nailing of the 95 Theses on Whittenburg Church's door... (happened Oct. 31, Ironically)
I’m kinda hoping God is putting on such a big show in the world when Halloween comes around that nobody celebrates it. I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with my kids this year. I have taken them trick or treating for years and it was always a fun time for us all. I’ve never let them get demonic costumes but this year, I don’t want to participate at all. I’m done with it. I was thinking about taking them to a candy store and showing them what 2 costumes cost value in the exact candy they want is, and showing them they can get it without walking for 2 hours. I’m trying to get creative because I know how disappointed they will be.
It is Satanic but halloween has been around a long time and to kids its just a night of fun and candy. I dont know if that should be taken away. You and I know its satanic but the kids do not to them its something fun to look forward too.
Beware of the Sweet Tart Fentanyl's. Wouldn't want any little kids ending up with those. You know this is going to happen somewhere. I don't look at it as Satanic if little ones' are dressed like Princesses, bumblebees, cowboys and such. And little kids don't know what Satan and evil is at an early age. However, with all the drugs and child trafficking going on; I'd rather have a party at home with neighbor kids and such.
I’m absolutely celebrating it… going to haunted houses, watching scary movies, taking the kids out trick-or-treating, and maybe even throwing a Halloween Party. It’s my favorite time of the year. I’m not going to let the cabal stop me from enjoying life.
My family never did squat for Halloween. We'd turn out the lights to keep people away.
I'm actually eating some of our "Halloween candy" right now. No kids have ever come to our house here. So we get all the candy. And I don't care about Hershey's problems. I bought mine ahead of time like any proper prepper would.
I enjoy the Holiday, I have always gone by the rule "don't give the devil his due". Satan, or evil personified, only has power over me, if I let it. I am a mature, God loving woman of Faith, and trust that little children delight in it, and preteen, (boys especially) see it as the last rite of childhood, and tend to prefer Pirate costumes. It is spooky in the northern climes this time of year, it gets dark early. Halloween sort of cheers a lot of people up, I do not attach it to devil worship, and yes, I am aware of all the opinions that say otherwise. I live close to a small town, and I love to go and sit in my car and watch the parade of littles with their moms and dads skipping and laughing and giddy with the treats. My opinion is, if I spent my days and hours sniffing out evil all the time, I would miss the Glory of God. He wants me to rejoice in his Creation and in his Mercy. I still hang bats and skellies on the tree where I leave a large bowl of candy, surrounded by lit pumpkins. I do not see that as participating in Evil. Ouija boards, tarot cards and false prophets on the other hand are another thing entirely. I am actively trying to call in Spirits, trying to divine the future, and giving my attention and focus. On Halloween, I am delighting in childhood and fun. Laughing at spooky old dark nights of Autumn, glad that I am old enough and don't have to deal with an overtired 5 year old on a sugar crash anymore. My son is 25 now, a Christian who studies scripture and a fine example of a young strong man. He loved Halloween as a little one. To each his own, I guess.
They have synthesized several things into one holly-day.
All hallow's eve - the dead come to life
Exorcism of and/or reveling in 'bad spirits' represented by masks as the evil twin bad self. Tricks are allowed.
Pedophilic trafficking like giving candy to a baby.
A Trifecta of Terrorism "masquerading" as a cute RPG.
See Voodoo ritual where the priest puts on a hat as costume, takes on a new persona who smokes cigars and drinks, and leers at women and makes lewd comments. Most cultures historically have some strange form of 'all in free' day of reprieve
where normal rules are ignored.
I just hand out treats: Big chocolate bars & little chocolate bars, + big bags of chips and little bags of chips + can of pop + some kind of glowstick.
If you do this you have to commit till you move or die
I'm too introverted to have my house end up on someone's planned route. You know that people are planning their route specifically to ensure they get to your house at the best possible time.
Today's Halloween customs are thought to have been influenced by folk customs and beliefs from the Celtic-speaking countries, some of which are believed to have pagan roots.
It's from the 4th century AKA pagan Roman tradition transformed into Roman Catholic feast day.
The Roman Catholics are big into worshipping the dead. Of course, they'll use the word "veneration" in place of "worship" and many Catholics have no idea first class relics are stuffed in the altar or what first class relics even are.
First class relics are body parts of dead "saints."
Look up Sedlec Ossuary if you want further proof of these claims.
And Sedlec Ossuary has its own website-
The Sedlec Ossuary is nothing spectacular in the outside. It is a small chapel located in Sedlec, in the suburbs of Kutna Hora, in the Czech Republic. You would think that it is just an average old medieval gothic church.
As you enter the Sedlec Ossuary though, you will soon realize why it is one of the most amazing and unique churches in the world. The Sedlec Ossuary is artistically decorated by more than 40.000 human skeletons.
Thus it is also known as the Church of Bones or as the Bone Church.
One of the most fascinating artistic works inside the Sedlec Ossuary is the big chandelier of bones that lies in the center of the Church of Bones. The immense chandelier contains at least one of every human bone.
Another impressive artwork is the coat of arms of the Schwarzenberg family that is also made of human bones. While there are other macabre places to visit in Europe like the Paris Catacombe, the Sedlec Ossuary is really unique in nature.
To each their own but im not holy rolling enough to turn town Halloween. It's the 1 and only science fiction holiday we have. Just bc the world sucks and is full of lies, doesn't mean you have to hate life. Gotta live a little and sadly I think there's to many on score that don't.
My dad was based enough to not celebrate it, and my husband and I don't do it either- we find other things for ourselves and our children to do on that night. Didn't do anything when the children were younger, either that was not church based alternative (mostly with their Grandmother).
Where would you suggest I go for more information on the rest of our holidays?
It's what's in your heart that counts. If you or your kids want to dress up and have fun there is nothing demonic about that.
Agreed. Dressing up while visiting your neighbors and getting a scare is good fun.
Giving teen girls (and younger) an excuse to wear skimpy and ridiculously revealing outfits is sexual manipulation.
I've seen women anywhere from their 20s up through their 50s (and beyond) wearing shit nobody with a speck of self respect would wear ... and I am a proud, genuine, 100% pig :-) ... you'd think I'd want to see that shit!!!
Grooming kids to accept it — the satanists are pushing the envelope and you’re condoning it.
Yep
I belive this to be true.
I’ve always hated Halloween — even as a child - I think I had some kind of intuition and now I hate it even more now because I know what it stands for !!!

i don't participate in devil worship anymore either
Agree, they brought those things to keep us away from God.
i learned this in 70s. my 5 kids never did halloween or any other pagan holiday
"70's the days of needles and razorblades in candy and also the candy that was laced with LSD, PCP, and Angel Dust. That was enough for me."
I went down that rabbit hole and apparently, they were all hoaxes:
https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/halloween-candy-tampering-urban-legend-truth-1.5341734
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poisoned_candy_myths
I was told that in the 70's also - paranoid about the candy lol

Have fun with your loved ones and don't let evil ruin your good times.
Never did participate just didn’t get it

Yes I didn’t even think about that - great point !!
Any kind halloween celebration is abusing a child !!!
my wife used to love it but the last 3 years we have not celebrated it.
Same as ever, the original LARP night. People don't have to play demons. I remember much more creative efforts, like being a knight in armor. Or a cowboy, or a flapper, or cats.
I havent celebrated Halloween in many many years.
Halloween is for commies. Think about it. Walk around holding a bag, expecting strangers to fill it for you.
What grosses me out are the adults that get so into it. It is the 2nd largest retail sales holiday after Christmas. What yhe he'll is wrong with these people who don't want to act their age

halloween is lame if it isn't scary sorry pal. whole point of it

I used to take my kids out with candy to give to the neighbors. Then some stupid adult ratted me out. Jerk.

Pizza party family game night. Worked for us growing up. Halloween always creeped me right out.

no it shouldn't. this is silly. what a bunch of babies

Halloween is satan’s version of All Saint’s Day.
All Saint's Day is based on pagan traditions as well.

All Saints Day is Christian:
