This is one of those moments when 'NO' is the only answer possible even if it's a lie. The DS is watching Q and trying to figure out who he is as much as we are. For him to admit JR is alive not only limits the number of people who Q could be it also narrows the search for JR by the DS to those that Q could be.
Q also said a plane hit the Pentagon in response to an anon query when it was obvious that did not happen.
Two thoughts on this question.
First, we know Q uses disinformation as a weapon against the deep state. It's possible that could be the case here. If JFK Jr. is still alive and Q acknowledges such a powerful advantage, then evil can prepare accordingly. Bad strategic move for those fighting for good.
Second, others have pointed out in the past that JFK Jr. is no longer a Jr. since his father was killed. So when Q says 'no' to JFK Jr. still being alive, in the most technical sense he is not, because he's no longer a Jr. Therefore the answer is truthful while also misdirecting the deep state.
I hope he's still alive. Can I say with certainty that he is? No, I cannot. This has always been my struggle; balancing out what I wish/want/desire for our world with the fog of relearning what reality is or may become with my personal weakness when it comes to deciphering Q drops in general.
I will say this with certainty. I wholeheartedly believe in the following: NCSWIC & WWG1WGA.

I certainly hope it's true. His full re-emergence would wake up a ton of normies to the reality that what they thought was true is wrong. It would open the locked door to their minds, especially if R came out of the shadows with Trump and told the public that many more myths are going to be shattered and the reason he is coming forth is to help the public understand the war that has been taking place in front of everyone without their knowledge.

Regardless of any of this, misleading the deep state on JFK Jr still being alive would require also misleading us by saying he’s not alive.
It could also be to make the whole thing more palatable. The types of people who would accept JFK Jr being alive without running for the hills won’t care if Q says he isn’t, even if they already think he is. They don’t need special attention to get or keep on board. The people who wouldn’t even touch Q because of such a claim, then, could be the ones being catered to.

Your claim is purely conjecture based on what you assume he should know. I don’t even wholly subscribe to your beliefs about viruses, and I’ve spend a great deal of time looking into it.
Besides, it’s not an effective strategy for red pulling normies. It’s a bridge too far for most people, and would ruin the chances of reaching the majority of people if he put too much emphasis on that particular belief.
Still, I don’t see any evidence of him being deceptive about that subject, and, short of any evidence to the contrary, could easily be chocked up to ignorance.
