As you all know qagg has been down for a while, and our embedded Q post feature was making use of the Qagg screenshots and has not been working all this time.
We have now completely enhanced this feature and managed to host the screenshots in-house. Hopefully it will never break again!
Note: It only works if you turn on Community Styling in the settings!
We can use this thread to post our favourite Q posts. The way you embed is like this:

I use Firefox in both cases. I have never seen "u/xxx" give me anything but an error message...

Why should that matter. I like the UI simple and not too colorful. Besides, it seems to have errors in rendering...

Edit: OK, I see now that the "community styling" has both up/down voting. It did not in the beginning. That was why I switched away. Still, I like CS=off much better. Why should that matter how "u/xxx" is rendered?
Because u/xxx is rendered using community stylesheet that does not get loaded if the styling is off. Just the way the WIN works, dont ask us why!
Oh, but that makes the site super ugly.

You can try dark mode if you dont like the light mode. People claim its better, personally I like the light mode. Anyway, once you get used to it for a bit, hard to go back to turning off the community styling.
Indeed it does. I fail to see why a change of stylesheet should matter. Besides, the "community styling" has errors in rendering.

Sorry, but imgur sucks. I use NoScript plugin, and the number of sites I have to enable to see imgur, is astounding. It's full of trackers and other spurious links.

Worth adding - this only works if community styling is ON.
I had this option switched OFF because it was causing serious issues to the extend I had to deactivate it. I couldn’t scroll and read posts properly on the mobile.
After years I’m testing community styling again, but I didn’t know how the u / # is supposed to work until yesterday.
Why should the stylesheet matter when rendering "u/xxx"?
It can define different width, height, background image, effectively showing the screenshot.
wish there was a dark mode with down voting in community styling.

Coming from someone who has had trouble posting/linking/referring to Q Posts before... this is a major improvement. Easy to use and to remember how to use especially for those moments where you're saying to yourself, "Gah, I need to reference that one line from that one part to respond to this guy!"
