Justice comes in many flavors, and repentance is a big part of how that justice is distributed. Someone truly repentant, someone who truly regrets the actions that led them down a certain path or to make certain actions, often receives a different degree or form of justice than those who continue down that path with impunity.
When we believe and trust in Christ, the justice for our sins is executed on Him on the cross. That is WHY He had to die like he did. So that there was justice even for the sins of those who believe. Just another reason for us to be serious and contrite about our sins as Christians, because they are all placed on His perfect head. Justice and mercy simultaneously. God is good!
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
One only needs to listen the parables Jesus gave, such as the Prodigal Son; or the sinners he forgave, such as Matthew the Apostle and Scripture writer (ex-tax collector), the woman who was about to be stoned, and the criminal who was crucified beside Him - to see how much mercy there is in God's Love.
Yet as soon as a non-christian tries to get close and learn and see for themselves there is always going to be that 20% of you or so who chase them away with your BS purity tests.
Forgive everyone. That is the message.

I do not forgive Intelligence Operatives who betrayed this nation for decades and lead us to where we are today. I want to see them punished in life and after life. Only once that happens can I forgive them.

Shalom shalom. Vengeance is the Lord's. Forgive what you can now, and leave the rest to Him. You don't want to be there with the same people you hate because you hated them. The Lord gave instructions on how to deal with these people in the Torah, and if we don't have a civic government to punish or rehabilitate sinners appropriately, then sadly they're going to deal with it for eternity. Pray for those who persecute you, because they're too stupid to know what's coming to them. It's really sad when you think about it.
Take heart, Jesus overcame the world. We can overcome the circumstances we live in too. Our God is greater than some losers who can't keep their gender straight or can't climb up stairs properly. Jesus holds the keys to life and death. We aren't worried about the price of eggs. There are ravens out there with your name on them. We aren't worried about those who steal, kill, and destroy. Our God is in control and has delivered entire nations out of slavery, and saved the faithful when He chastised entire nations for what ours is doing now. Read Jonah again. We're all sort of feeling like Nineveh should be destroyed. But God would prefer we all repent so He doesn't have to punish us. Seek His face, my friend.

My life completely changed 180* for the better when I forgave the one person that I had no reason to. Life long Christian and believer, but I can look back and clearly see thst was the day I truly began my walk with the Lord.
This is one of the hardest trials-the big one, (forgiveness), that I’m still currently working on. May Jesus give you peace that exceeds all understanding. I’m praying for you.
You can pray for God's help in forgiving. Forgiveness benefits the forgiver actually more than the forgiven, and it doesn't mean that all is forgotten. Its the way to live life without carrying the added burden of anger over the past. It has helped me considerably to pray that all those traitors will repent and so die in a state of grace.
There will be extra special judgement for that and I hope it includes gloating along with all the others that some of you are so disgustingly sure are going to hell.
Much of modern Christianity seems to have been warped to be quite the opposite of what I personally believe it should stand for. So many people use it to put themselves above others, to exalt themselves. It's one of the main reasons many people have rejected it in modern times.
