There is a time and a place for "Ring of Power can only be wielded by the dark lord", for sure. But just remember they had to kill a whole lot of orcs before the plan succeeded.
We don't defeat absolute evil by wielding absolute power. But pacifism isnt the answer, either. Jesus Christ himself warned his followers to buy a sword.
The balance is finding a way to fight the absolute evil with soldiers who seek to cast it down and replace it with nobody, instead of fighting to replace it with their own version of evil. How many people are actually capable of leading a revolution big enough to save a nation, without using it as a revolution to declare themselves emperor? George Washington was one such man, but they arent exactly common in history.
That's why some sources call the white hats gray hats instead. They too have secret knowledge, money and power. After they win, it's on them to step down lest they become the new cabal, same as the old cabal.

Based on the content of his speeches I do believe he has the capacity. But truth be told, if he really stands behind the things he says, I would sooner serve him as an emperor than subjugate myself for another day to the satanic "freedoms" being foisted upon us. I believe the Christian needs to choose his freedom to worship God first and everything else second.
If satanic neighbors outvote us and "force" us to subject ourselves and our children to their evil, what's more important? That our government be one of "freedom to vote" or that we be free to conduct our business according to our religious beliefs?

The sword Christ mentioned is a metaphor for truth, not an actual weapon, though the truth is used properly is a razor sharp one indeed. He chastised Peter for cutting off Malchus' ear. Every time a sword mentioned coming out of a mouth is the metaphor for truth. What was meant in that Luke 22:36 scripture was to give up what earthly thing that you think protects you for something more valuable, divine truth.

A metaphor is only as effective as it is true in both senses. It is true that you need word of Truth to defend you spiritually because you need a sword to defend you physically, or the comparison has no merit
There's so many Christian churches in this country. People are free to worship here. Turn off the t.v. or whoever is trying to convince you to be so afraid.
Can you preach that homosexuality is a sin, or is that hate speech? Can you preach that abortion is murder, or is that sexist? The brand of Christianity in most American churches today is a toothless, pointless social club for people to look pious standing in. It's like virtue-signalling for the moderate-right.
That's not to say there arent some good churches out there, but the "the left" is satanic and they're playing for keeps. They have no intention of letting us keep our little churches and businesses.
Case in point, look at that baker in colorado. There is no reason at all the gays cant get their cake baked anywhere in the state, but they choose to go to the one baker who is Christian enough to tell them to get lost, for one reason: to break him.
That is a microcosm of what they've got planned for the country at large. This is a fight for the soul of America between God and Satan, and there's a decent chance it ends up with the book of Revelations playing out before our eyes.

The greatest weapon that psychopaths have against you: Your own conscience. They are master of manipulating you into thinking you are doing something evil and wrong by standing against them.
It was that sort of thinking that finally settled my mind on the Death Penalty. I was for it, then I wasn't ("vengeance is mine", etc). But I realized that, by allowing murderers to live, you're agreeing with them that their lives are far more valuable than the lives of their victims.
They knew that already - that they are "more important" than the people they kill - otherwise they wouldn't be murdering. They'd also prefer never to be caught and prosecuted at all (because how dare Society judge them??) but when they are caught/sentenced, it's pretty great for them that society is so "noble" to allow them to live, even allowing them the possibility of getting out and maybe killing again.
Nowadays, I'm of the mindset that we should treat these people as they are - broken, no longer entirely human and just send them back to God. The only other option is complete and utter exile and I don't mean "time spent in a prison with privileges". I mean exile far away from everyone, where the only harm they can do would be to themselves.
The death penalty was given by God, first in Genesis 9:6.
This is why they try to turn it into a "spiritual battle" To try and make you even more afraid.

In the 70s I would sit in the living room with my father. We would witness the execution of murderers. I also want my children to witness the execution of traitors so they would have an indelible feel for justice and how to treat the evil in this world. No coddling just clean justice. No more having murderers sit on death row for 30+ years. Do not delay justice and make society carry the burden to feed cloth and house the guilty. Unbind your eyes, lady justice and bring swift justice to the guilty.

I disagree. While it's true evil' s true nature is self destruction we don't have to go down with the ship or wait that long until the fire burns itself out.
Self defense or preservation of life does not go against the will of god, infact it is encourged.
Instead it is a matter of morals. If you are truly taking the high ground, and the collateral damage is a byproduct of the enemy doing damage then they reap what they sow.

There is an interesting exception carved out for government, when it comes to violence in Scripture.
Specifically, the evildoer is warned that the governing authorities do not "bear the sword in vain". The governments of the world are specifically implied to be agents of God on earth to exact capital punishment on evildoers.
So if there are godly men in a land where the government is perverted (protecting evil and attacking good), the impetus is on them to form a new government and take up that mantle. And yes, for such an enterprise to succeed would require an act of God, so one could even say a victorious rebellion of godly men vs a tyrant has God's blessing.

I subscribe to the "starship troopers" philosophy that posits violence is always the answer, during civilized times we just disguise it with politeness.
