Yes, but the question is, what's going to be done about it?
A million gun owners could march down to Olympia right now and petition on the steps of the Capitol and the crooks in charge would still pass it, and then probably attempt to get many people arrested for threatening democracy. Since we know that's now how it works in this godforsaken wasteland of a country. Then you'd end up with a felony charge for threatening an elected official and have to spend countless thousands of dollars getting your charges thrown out by a court, also in hopes that your judge isn't a far-left anti-gun activist.
Or you could just challenge it in literally any court and have it struck down. As is always done.

It will be challenged and over turned. It's a clear violation of the 2nd Amendment. The only reason the dems are in control in 'Washing Cycle' State is because there's whole lot of cheating going on there. Washing Cycle State (Washing State for short) is where you wash votes and then rinse and dry. If it still smells like corruption, repeat the Wash cycle.

Once it passes the Senate (and it will) and Tyrant Inslee signs the bill, it is immediately in effect. We could see this happen in as little as 3-4 weeks.

The background check hasn't changed. If you go into a store to buy a weapon they are required to do a background check prior to purchase. And if you want a concealed carry it is registered at the sheriff's dept.
Yes. The background check you speak of is the national background check everyone nationwide already does. HB1143 will require you to pass a WA state background check PRIOR to that. The state could drag their feet, delay or even ignore your request so you can't even attempt to apply to purchase a firearm. Watch the video I linked. It starts at 1:43 and is less than 5mins.

Yup. This is just another layer they are adding to the existing rules and it seems like they are doing it to hinder/delay the firearm purchasing process. Knowing their end goal it appears they are purposely doing this to quash our rights.
In theory if you can pass the federal background to purchase a firearm, this newly implemented state check should just as easily be passed too but you know their intentions are to take advantage of this to slow or stop the process.
A CPL application is handled by your county or the city if you live in the city limits. HB 1143 pre-background check for firearms purchases won't be through your county/city. It will be handled by the state. They will need to create a whole new vetting system to handle this and new state programs ever go smoothly.
i'll be writing my legislatures but I already know they won't have their fingerprints on this. As you probably know WA is ruled by the dems. I don't hold out much Hope for this state. Haven't seen anything yet.....

Actually: British didn’t realise at all. They allowed to make knifes illegal because the deep state organised a false flag (stabbing) and people thought: well, ok, it’s for our safety, we can use knives in the kitchen. I found it awkward just because I came from the other country.

Them: Assault weapons are dangerous, let’s ban them. It’s for your safety.
People: Ok, we still have guns.
Them: Open carrying isn’t necessary. Others don’t feel safe. Let’s prohibit.
People: Ok, we can still hide it and feel safe.
Them: Concealed carrying isn’t necessary. Criminals hide their guns.
People: Ok, we can still use them at home.
Them: There are so many mass shooting. We can’t even arrest criminals at their homes because they kill our police officers. Let’s ban guns.
People: Ok, still have knives.
Then you’ve got stabbings (false flags) and … you’re in the London/UK situation.
As you can see: Each step has an event (a trigger) and one step itself is acceptable. That’s how they do it. That’s why the US is their enemy because people have weapons to defend themselves and resist. Most of the countries have lost this right and it’s super hard to revert it.

Assault Weapon was a multitude of designs for the production of a "medium" caliber of individual troop weapon. Unlike battle rifles that are chambered in large high power calibers, such as 7.62x51mm, 30-06, 7.62x54r, 8mm mauser, etc. These rounds were scaled down in power level and evolved into 7.62x39mm, 5.56x45mm and other less common variants. These weapons were designed for select fire capability to enable troops to deploy a large amount of projectiles while engaging in tactical movement. Typically, traditional battle rifles were not utilized in full auto because of the lack of control/accuracy and were relegated predominately as a Squad Automatic in a much heavier platform to enable suppressive fire. The advent of the Assault weapon allowed a more controllable and portable select fire weapon to be employed by each individual troop in a post trench warfare combat style. The tactics employed with assault weapons has been to provide suppressive fire to enable other troops to move while the enemy is taking cover from the suppressing fire. The key take away here is that an assault weapon IS a select fire weapon. Any semi-auto version is not an "assault weapon" by definition. If it does not have select fire capability, it does not fulfill the primary purposes and capabilities of a military assault weapon. This is not to say that it is benign, it still has significant capabilities as a firearm, however it has more in common with the qualities of a traditional battle rifle.
It is a rifle that can fire either automatically or semi-automatically and is chambered for what is termed a "medium-energy" cartridge. The early German examples were noteworthy for having pistol grips. Ever since, it seems to be applied to long arms with pistol grips.

Easy enough. Follow the definition...Assault Weapon. If your weapons are not used in an "Assault", then they don't qualify as an assault weapon. If you don't use it as a weapon, then it isn't a weapon at all. I prefer the terms particle accelerator or mass emitter. 😁 In all seriousness, this is why the Bill of Rights was written; to prevent the Government from enacting laws that infringe on God given Rights. This will be promptly overturned in the Courts, whether within the State of Washington or in the Federal courts. This has been tried multiple times by multiple tyrannical State governments and our own Federal government. If and when they allow these things to pass and promulgate, then we will have grounds to undo the current government systems and restore the systems back to the original format in accordance with The Constitution of the United States. No need to get wrapped around the axle on this.
