We will be running a script this afternoon to free up server resources. This will remove notes and purge all names from the ban list. Please keep in mind this does not restore deleted accounts. The oldest account bans should be the first lifted. This is the first time running the script so we have no estimate on how long this will take. Thank you for your patience.
I got more bad news. We ran out of space for the CSS, and starting tomorrow we will have to get rid of pepe avatars. We will do it in alphabetical order or the order in which pepes were given.
Yeah, the GIFs are going to have to go as well. We can no longer afford the overhead costs of hosting those files on the site. We will soon be deploying GIFS 2.0 for The Great Awakening. We will be setting up each GIF as a Non-Fungible Token (NFT). Each use of any GIF in a thread will be charged to an Anon's Great Awakening wallet. This will make it possible to finally pay for the overhead hosting fees for each GIF.
All of that really blows and is ghey.

I just saw this, and you had me going at the optimization script, but banned accounts? Usually a reason for those, and then the pepe avatars? Hey wait a minute, it's April isn't it?

The real hint wasn't unbanning everyone that was banned which would create a massive nightmare of non-handshake trolls for mods and users to figure out, introducing a ton of sleepers into the mix.

I'm wondering if those deleted posts were people jumping on and getting upset before realizing what was going on and were so embarrassed they deleted their comments.
I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the relative lack of gullibility displayed here, though.
It's too often people hop onto comment sections in a hurry to share their own opinions before reading others. And they miss important information that shows their opinion has some factual issues.
I know this because I am guilty of it all the time. ☺️

I use 1and1 for my websites, and I have unlimited space, unlimited traffic, and unlimited emails. And it doesn't cost that much.
