Wife still in hospital. CTs, MRI, EKG, US all negative for any clots or embolisms. Doctors still aren’t sure what’s causing it- best working guess so far is POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) which is an excessively reduced amount of blood returning to the heart when moving from laying to sitting to standing. BP and heart rate still spiking anytime she has to get up. Pumping fluids and electrolytes and looking into starting a beta blocker until her OBGYN can assess hormone levels. Heart monitor hooked up for next cpl weeks. Home/bed rest until then. Not a whole lot of info or treatment for it so we just have to wait and see for now. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for all the prayers and support, this community always surprises me but I should know better by now, you frens are amazing and the love and support so many of you provided is extremely appreciated. I don’t have much family left, but it’s heartwarming to know I do have frens that care out there. LOVE you all. WWG1WGA
Thank you for letting us know. I am glad she is at least status quo and that most everything has checked out okay. I hope it resolves with fluids, rest and time. Just a thought: did she eat anything out of the ordinary, or take any new supplement/medication that might have provoked the reaction? If so, did they run a comprehensive toxicology screen? Please continue to let us know how she is doing and may God watch over and protect your family.
God bless you and yours. Will keep praying. Extra hugs for the little one.
I'm happy that so many in the community stopped what they were doing to pray for your wife and your family. The power of prayer is amazing. I was so heartbroken for you because I know how helpless you felt to do anything for your wife. I felt it deep inside of me as you were replying to comments. I think you did the best thing you could which was to reach out so that we could pray for you all.
This is EXACTLY what happened to me this past year. I was lucky to find a naturopath doctor who knew what to look for and was honest. I've been having terrible issues with POTS, rapid heart rate, lightheadedness, fatigue, etc. I too have been supplementing b12, folate, iron, intrinsic factor, zinc, etc . . .
I'm still not 100%. For the past year it has felt like two steps forward, one step back. Its a slow process of recovering.
I think what brought on this terrible condition in me is stress. My work environment since C19 has been extremely stressful. During the lockdowns my digestion was shutting down on me. I would get terrible acid reflux, indigestion, constipation, etc. I think this prevented my body from digesting and processing my nutrients properly, which led to my anemia. My doctor said that not only was I low on my red blood cells, but that many of my blood cells were also elongated and not healthy.
Thankfully I am moving to a new state this summer, and will have way less stress to deal with.
All of this 100 percent. I've been struggling with similar symptoms for years now, with doctors having no idea what's going on and seeing all sorts of Western medicine specialists with no improvement. Most of my labs tested normal, but my integrative medicine doctor told me to try the carnivore diet, and within 30 days, my symptoms improved greatly. It was odd eating mostly red meat, given that I've tried to balance my diet with vegetables and everything Western medicine tells me is good for me. I'm not fat, no medical issues otherwise. My sister was diagnosed with POTS over a decade ago, but we didn't think of that for me until very recently. Still, I firmly believe that stress and your gut biome getting seriously off kilter is what causes this, and it's a slow road getting things back in shape. Months, maybe even years. I haven't even been able to tolerate probiotics, we're trying to slow adjust my gut bacteria back to normal when my symptoms improve. Myself and even some of my Western medicine doctors all believe it's poison in our food. It takes our gut years to get out of whack, so it's going to take time to get it back into shape. I've had ER visits, been to heart and nerve specialists, gasto specialists, you name it. When your gut gets seriously out of balance, it can manifest as all sorts of odd and auto immune conditions. Don't accept it. Fight for your health. I believe that much of this is curable but it isn't a one pill solution, it's a long term modification to get things back into shape. Good luck and prayers to all of you.
Will continue praying for your wife...especially that they are able to determine what is her underlying condition....I pray that the Lord will give the doctors all the insight and knowledge that they need to get her back to good health...I pray that you know that God has control of this situation and He is faithful in all things. May God richly bless you and yours...
Sending prayers for your wife’s speedy recovery! 🙏
I came here today specifically to see if you'd left an update. Thank you for the info. I realize it must be frustrating not knowing exactly what it is, but it is surely a relief also knowing what it is not. I will continue to pray for you and your family. I hope your son is handling this well. He will take his cues from you. You sound a whole lot better than you did the other night, fren. I hope you truly are feeling more calm and confident. Off to pray now. Please continue to keep us posted. Blessings to you.
Thanks for the update, fren.
Continued prayers for your wife. Definitely glad she made it back, at the time it sounded very dire. But you're clearly not out of the woods yet, so prayers for a full recovery.
And an anecdotal question: does your family have a low salt diet? I and family members have had a problem of feeling faint (and rarely, actually fainting) when getting up quickly from sitting to standing. Problem was cured by increasing salt in the diet. My understanding is that salt is instrumental in getting your heart to respond promptly to needed changes in circulation rate. Low salt can mean that the heart takes a longer time to adjust, causing problems like what you're describing. Kind of like how a bad transmission makes the engine work too hard. If that's been going on for a long time it might have damaged the heart. Either way, more salt could be part of the solution. Obviously do your research. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the update. Keep praying, yourself, you know we will.
🙏
(I am no expert, the following is only from my own experience after serious burnout years ago and a lot of research for my family and me. But it is perhaps helpful as start for you!)
If it is not due to any medical drugs (e.g. dopamin - parkinson drugs?), please consider the adrenal glands and possible exhaution.
Perhaps this is helpful: Tachycardia-symptoms - POTS
ADRENAL FATIGUE
VAGUS NERVE RESET (your wife should watch, as soon she is home/better)
HERBAL SOLUTIONS:
... and as an idea to research further
The adrenal glands have a major impact on the body system! When exausted Vitamin D, Magnesium/Calcium, Zinc would/could help, but more importantly reducing of stress, NO COFFEE AND STIUMLANTS, NO JOGGING!, slow nice walks, BEING in nature, fresh air and the sun, cold showers and later cold swims (think learning Wim Hof), avoid mind work, thinking, internet, problems.
Feelings of love, laughter and liberty are very much helful.
God bless you and your little family, praying that your wife will recover soon and completely.
Praying for you and your family, fren.
I recently read that POTS can be caused by a B1 (thiamine) deficiency. Might be worth giving your wife B1 supplements to see if they help.
A host of maladies are caused by B1 deficiency. The list is long from Parkinson’s symptoms to autoimmune diseases. The nervous system requires the B vitamins, Some people more than others. Parkinson’s sufferers are turning to larges doses of B1 to supplement their medications and have found it to helped stopped or severely slowed the progression of PD.
Absolutely. I've been learning about this and it's crazy how many neurological issues are caused by B1 deficiencies, and also B6 and B12 deficiencies. Though it's important to research the various forms these vitamins can take so you take the right form for your ailment.
And as you said the solution to a LOT of issues is often to simply take large doses of B1. Even if you don't have a deficiency it can still help. And sometimes people only have a deficiency in one organ, so tests don't detect it, so large doses of B1 can cure issues within that organ.
And it's not just neurological issues either, a B1 deficiency can cause tachycardia and arrhythmia, trouble breathing and an enlarged heart, among many things.
Deficiencies are also very easy to develop, since your B1 reserves are drained when you eat sugar or carbs, and can become depleted practically overnight if you experience a traumatic event such as the loss of a loved one or a period of intense physical, mental or emotional stress. So it's very common.
Thank you 😃 I’m just finding out about the B1 but been a proponent of the B complex vitamins for sometime. Ran across a video of how important it can be in combating Parkinson’s.
Sure thing! :)
I recommend Dr Eric Berg's channel on Youtube, as well as the EONutrition channel, they both have a lot of great info on this and many other things.
This anti-fungal protocol is also said to work against a lot of neurological issues:
https://www.docdroid.net/FX4DpXm/cdf-nac-protocol-pdf
Other things that are said to help:
And the Keto diet is crucial to stopping brain inflammation and nourishing the brain with healthy fats. This video explains the importance of fats and of not taking cholesterol medication to avoid neurological issues:
https://greatawakening.win/p/16aTHErpje/it-was-discovered-100-years-ago-/c/
Finally, it's important to know that neurological issues are often caused by myelin damage (myelin is the protective layer around the nerves in the brain and body). B1, B6 and B12 help repair the myelin. Benfotiamine, Sulbutiamine, or TTFD are usually the best form of B1 to take for this. The active from of B6 is the only one that should ever be taken, it's called PYRIDOXAL 5'-PHOSPHATE (P5P). B12 is best taken with folate, METHYLCOBALAMIN is the recommended form of B12, and METHYLFOLATE is the recommended form of folate.
Okay, now I'm done. :P I've researched this a lot lately so I thought I'd share what I've found. Hope this is helpful to you. Take care, fren.
Big fan of Dr Berg. We were taking ivermectin, (Prescription), zinc, and all the vitamins throughout the plandemic. Did not take the shot. Both of us are 75. Just found out about Benfotiamine and got some for the wife. She has just been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. The Rytary that the doctor prescribed and the B complex 100s and the Benfotiamine turned the symptoms around in 3 days! I noticed a big difference in the efficacy of the Rytary WITH the B complex than without! It was amazing!! I took myself off statins and finally got the wife off as well. Statins are extremely dangerous and way over prescribed. I believe they are what got the wife in trouble as she had been taking them for 20+ years!! I only took them for about 2 years and was starting to have neurological problems that I had never had before. Glad to see others are starting to be responsible for their own medical help and not relying all on the medical profession for everything. This plandemic, the fake masking, the dangerous shot has made me extremely disappointed in the medical profession and not worthy of all my trust. Eyes open! Sorry to ramble on but thought I share as it might help others.
Amen! I completely agree.
Glad you're fans of Dr, Berg already, that man's videos literally changed my life. It's also great that you both got off statins, those things are terrible. Thanks for your feedback on those BTW, I never took them myself but it's something I'll be able to mention to others to warn them off.
So happy to hear your wife is having such great (and quick!) results treating her Parkinson's, that's wonderful and it really does bode well for her health.
It does seem as though a B1 deficiency is at least in part responsible for her issues, so taking that as well as all B vitamins should help, and possibly help regrow her myelin if that's an issue for her as well. A great way to take those B vitamins, which Dr. Berg recommends even more than B-Complex, is to take nutritional yeast (the non-fortified kind), because it's more natural and contains all B vitamins too.
Neurological issues can be fungal in nature too, so it might be worth trying out the products from the protocols I listed: NAC, oregano oil and black seed oil (a.k.a. nigella sativa). But in my experience, simply trying oregano oil for a few weeks should be sufficient to show some improvement, if fungus is her issue. If it is, then you can continue with the full protocol.
And I know I said this before, but don't underestimate the importance of a keto diet for neurological issues, it reduces brain inflammation and feeds it healthy fats (try to give her a fatty diet specifically). Intermittent fasting can also help.
And definitely check out EONutrition's Youtube channel, he specializes in treating neurological issues with mega-doses of B1.
Best of luck to you and your wife, fren. I hope and pray her condition continues to improve! Looks like she's definitely on the right path though, which is amazing to hear. :)
EONutriton looked familiar already subscribed great minds think alike <grin>. Also I’m already taking NAC. We’re on the same wavelength. Best wishes…
Thank God she's home, praying for your family.
Taurine is an interesting supplement.....worth looking into
My sister (38 years old, 20-year vegan with copper IUD) was admitted to the hospital for the same thing before Christmas. She’s vaxxed. They couldn’t find anything wrong and put her on a beta blocker. It barely helped. So, she got the copper IUD taken out and started eating animal products again. No beta blockers anymore and she’s pretty much 100%. I hope your wife gets well soon!!
I know a young lady (vaxxed not boosted) just went through the exact same thing. Your wife’s story to a tee. After a month or so, they put her on some meds and it seems to have leveled out and she’s able to function normally.
My daughter was diagnosed w/POTS and had LOTS of other medical issues out of nowhere too. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE watch out for the beta blockers - they are HIGHLY addictive. My duaghter had a rought time coming off of them. It was like watching a heroine addict detox. What resolved the issue for her was a full panel testing of vitamins and mineral levels. She was WAY off. Magnesium helped her the most, but she needed a lot of other things too...and all were natural. I'm praying for ya'll and hoping things get resolved quickly!
Glad for the update fren. My cousin has POTS and has had some scares like this, so hopefully it is just something like that.
Continued prayers headed your direction. We're all pulling for you our fren! We love you and your family as well.
Be strong and call on the Lord in a loud voice. He will answer
Prayers on the way fren.
Thank you for the update. Still praying for your family.
Love you fren & hope your wife makes a full recovery. She will remain in my prayers.
Thanks for the update, fren. Keep the faith! More prayers coming your way.
Prayers for your wife and family, Shadi.
My Mom and niece were diagnosed with syncope which is when blood pressure drops super low when they sit or stand up too fast sometimes they faint/fainted. They just had to learn to stand or sit up slowly. Praying that your wife's episodes are caused by something this simple.
Praise God! Happy to hear the good news
Glad to hear she's stable and they are working on a way to help her. Praying for her and your family. Stay strong, your wife and child need you, you are stronger than you realize. Take deep breaths when times get tough and tell yourself you can do this, focus on what needs to be done that's the most important at that moment. One thing at a time.
Glad to hear she is stable fren, will continue to pray for a full recovery!
i will pray for her tonight.
So glad to hear it is nothing serious. Blessings to you and your wife. Take care.
Thank you for the update. I will continue to keep her and you in my prayers.
Right back at you 😘
