Next we need to ban VPNs. No more hiding. If you want to be on the internet, you have to be responsible, which means no more of this anonymous crap, same reason we don't like masks.
VPNs play an important part of getting outside the globalist control.
"If you want to be on the internet, you have to be responsible, which means no more of this anonymous crap" Sounds exactly what a government would say if and when they move to ban VPNs and advance the process of bringing all internet users under their control. Next stop: Banned from using accessing certain parts of the net (i.e. social media) if and when you say the wrong thing.
In cases you didn't notice, most of us folks around here and in the Great Awakening ground troops are .... anons. Why do you think that might be?
A VPN is not some illegal migrant digging under the US southern border wall.
You have a very curious take on things for someone posting on a site that is all about anons.
(BTW, Kudos for sticking to your own opinion, but you can see from the doodles on your comment what our community thinks about your stance. Might be worth something to consider.)
Yeah, I figured it was a losing proposition. I just remember all the rhetoric around wearing a mask and how easy it is to commit crime. I was curious if the logic would carry over. It obviously doesn't, but the comments have been interesting.
How about people in China who want to know what's going on in the world? How about people who simply want to discuss things outside of the mainstream opinion? (Hi everyone here).
Blocking porn doesn't help anyone. I think it must be insanely challenging to stop kids from looking at it, but Pornhub is one site. You can see as many naked people as you want with a simple google image search for almost any topic imaginable.
yah. People should take notice of God's approach. God never shut down human freedom. To what extent does God respect the human freedom He created? Absolutely.
Ultimately, character and correct spiritual growth are the ONLY solution to evils such as rampant porn. I appreciate restrictions are and important part of discipline, but ultimately the critical thing is to educate and raise children to be able to resist the temptations put in front of them.
A "right to privacy" is not in the constitution. The cabal only gets away with what they can because they do it in the shadows. In the old days you had a party line on your telephone and your local mailman could see what was coming and going from your house. The internet is a public space. If someone walked into the library or the grocery story fully suited up and covered, we would know that person was up to something really fishy, yet we're fine with basically the same thing on the internet.
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated"
Our privacy is explicitly protected in the Constitution in all ways against searches and seizure; the governments collecting this data combined with our IP address is both of those things.
The only thing it doesn't protect is by those deemed "unreasonable", such as when you actually commit a crime.
And if you think VPNs make your data completely unavailable to governments, you have absolutely no reason to even enter the conversation to begin with as it's just another layer of security; almost every public facing VPN complies with governments.
Additionally, your "mail man" is a funny and actually retarded thing to conflate as this concerns usage within your own home, which is distinctly inviolable by the mail man. They can only deliver mail, they can't take it or spread or compile that information.
Why you want to make it easier for governments I don't know, but I can unreservedly say that you are either mentally handicapped or totally naive as to the power that grants them -- power not given to them by the Constitution.
The dystopian path that leads us down gives a tyrannical government exactly what they want: More freedom to Big Brother its citizens.
The internet is not in your personal house, it's a public space. Your car can be stopped and searched if there is a suspicion of wrong doing. People can record what you're doing when you're in a public space.
Giving the government power is fine as long as it's the white hats who are in control.
Giving the government power is fine as long as it's the white hats who are in control.
Oh boy.... This is the slogan of every single wanna-be or real dictator who ever came to power. Every single one. Not one single megalomaniac serial murdering dictator ever came to power saying "give me the power because I'm going to use it to kill you all". It's was ALWAYS "give me the power, because I'm a white hat".
Every single time.
Fren, you are exceedingly naive.
If you want to take the internet analogy seriously, you have to understand this: There are places on in the internet that restrict who can enter and use them. They are called private websites. Subscription websites (eg. news organizations), business websites, public govt websites, etc.
Your car can be stopped and searched if there is a suspicion of wrong doing.
No, that's not true. It most jurisdictions, it will have to be "reasonable suspicion". And until that reasonable suspicion exists, the police or authorities have NO RIGHT to search, query or question you.
People can record what you're doing when you're in a public space.
But people are also liable for what they do to you in a public space. A person who can record a minor, for example, using their phone, and then post that footage, etc on the internet is liable for the results. They do NOT have the right to walk up to that child, to demand information on who the child is, what they are doing, etc. And, if they take footage without permission, they become liable for the results.
Fren, you really have no idea what is going on. You need to rethink through this.
Oh boy.... This is the slogan of every single wanna-be or real dictator who ever came to power
Isn't this what President Trump basically said though? We know there was fraud in the 2020 election, but when it came to the courts, President Trumps lawyers couldn't produce proof, but they still asked for the invalidation of millions of ballots (only for the presidential vote). I was OK with it because I believe in a man who sacrificed so much for the country he loves. We know President Trump will take care of us if he's able to attain power and win against the DS.
online anonymity is extremely important. also VPN's have other uses that have nothing to do with pr0n... ever work from home? congrats you used a VPN to do that.
Restricting access to the internet for children is really tough. There is so much horrific shit, but also so much good.
I was born long enough before the internet to know what it was like to live without it, but still born at the right time to grow up with it before it was censored. I can absolutely say I wouldn't be the same person I would be today without unrestricted access. So much intergenerational knowledge was lost by neglectful parenting that the internet really was a lifesaver for an entire generation of people.
As parents we really need to be guiding and tutoring our children diligently so we don't have to resort to censorship like this. The same way that a healthy society can safely bare arms, a healthy society can also live with the odd porn site floating around.
I just keeping thinking we’re inching towards having to have a license to use the internet.. every time you sign into the internet you scan. Well.. you all know how this will work out.
The internet needs to be heavily controlled, it really causes too much mental health damage. Most people don't need the internet and the sooner we realize that and remove access, the sooner our society will put itself right. As long as you have a gun, a family, and some land to work with your hands, then you'll be alright. If people get bored, they can listen to the radio.
How would Q and the great awakening happen if the internet was "heavily controlled"?
You post some strange comments tbh:

This is why "golden showers" are featured so much in Hollywood these days, they're trying to make it seem like it is normal. I've seen thousands of videos showing it and while I see the appeal of it, we really shouldn't encourage it and probably should ban it.
I mean, if that was the case, then these videos would be inaccessible to me as well which would probably be a good thing. I try not to watch them too often, but I have moments of weakness.
Yeah, I started to respond to the half baked thought of banning VPNs and deleted halfway through at the silliness of even needing to explain why banning what easily becomes a back footing stanced tool for free speech online is not thought out at all. Seems a bit out to lunch lol some wild takes for sure. Fixing to start a Romans 16:17 style of marking and avoiding people. One thing is for sure, the internet has allowed a lot of people to dial in some weird quirky aspect of them they shouldn't have, and I'm not interested. But regulating US because we can't regulate ourselves due to lack of discipline is pretty classic. It's just a tech we will learn to live amongst and with, much like massive surplus of food. We've since learned, we can't just eat carbs all day and every meal can't be a feast that tastes delicious just cause it's available. How quick patriots even are to just ban and regulate things gets scarier and scarier by the day.
Common? I hope not. I would rather be extraordinary, the most loyal. I've found that there is a severe lack of poetry on this site, so I wrote a Haiku that I like to say to myself whenever I feel down:
Flags waving high,
Loyalty and patriotism unite,
Love for country soars.
I've seen thousands of videos showing it and while I see the appeal of it
Hmmmm.....
I repeat, hmmmmm.....
This may provide a bit of insight into our OP here. Possibly, the OP is recovering (or current) addict who struggles with the influences they have encountered via the internet, and thus in an entirely reactive and self-focused perspective feels like the only solution is to burn it all down (aka "control the internet to an absolute extent"
That's funny as hell and has to be a troll. I shudder to think what this person's search history looks like if they are "researching" by watching thousands of examples of "golden showers". Hahaha. But for real. Wow. Just almost to the border of self awareness with, "it really causes too much mental health damage.... don't need the internet and the sooner we realize that... ". Lol
We've seen what a heavily controlled internet looks like. the leftists get to say whatever they like and all opposition is forbidden. no thanks. we must have a free and open internet for all. leftists included. free speech is only relevant when its people saying things you dont like.
"Take away porn, VPNs, and control the internet heavily" ... you must be a big fan of totalitarianism.
Are they ever. There is a weird tangent about how much they don't like President Reagan, but I suppose that's what you'd expect. If I was Russian, I probably wouldn't like him either.
Don't forget that Spencer Cox refused to sign legislation to protect girls in sports! He cried crocodile tears defending his decision. He also refuses any sort of election audit, had a representative cover a city council meeting with voting propaganda, and sent the goon squad to follow @two_red_pills from Telegram. His office doxxed two women to the press! He is a bad man.
Oh give me a break, most kids that want to access such content will just use a proxy server if they get blocked. It's how they got past the bkocks when I was in high-school.
Besides what good is age verification on the internet anyway? Both sides of this argument is next to pointless.
This could go different ways... one way would be:
set up system which makes you have to show your ID to use the internet,
another would be:
more light is shed on pornography in relation to the internet (being moreso a "public square" than an establishment, such as adult film stores which can ask for ID and do not let kids even go inside) which results in internet porn becoming illegal.
and probably other ramifications. We will have to see this out to it's good conclusions while avoiding the bad ones
Moronic theocratic authoritarian conservatives will cheer when it's porn, let's see them cheer when their ISP demands ID verification before it allows GAW to load, then maybe they'll realize how idiotic they're being.
I don't know. ID is required to vote and to drive. Yet people travel thousands of miles virtually and vote on many things the influence people's opinions (like voting on posts here), all without us knowing anything about them. The cabal uses anonymity to do things that would never be allowed if people knew who it was.
Not interested in theocracy. These laws are stupid because if a teen wants to watch porn he will be torrenting full compilations or downloading OF leaks or watching some classmates private snap. Pornhub is a grain of sand in the desert of porn options.
Porn is boring and retarded but if people want to watch it so be it. If lower domain normies can't separate reality from fiction and can't get it up for their wife because of it, then they both deserve what they signed up for.
Instead, crack down on human trafficking and abuse in porn. Look at Japan's AV industry. No trafficking, no underage workers, zero disease in spite of the weird crap they sometimes do
Hell, quite a few AV girls go on to legit acting or voice acting. How many times have you ever seen an American porn star go legit? Never.
Otherwise if you can not truly regulate porn all the way down to the casting couch, end it. Americans will make their own better homemade porn anyways. Real over fake everytime.
This. All this is, is conservatives giving the government more power to parent their children for them, which is like, the root cause of a huge number of major problems we have in society right now.
Agree all the way, axrevolutional. I, too, consider porn boring and retarded, but we don't need any theocratic overlords turning our legal system into a camp meeting.
I know this will get me no end of downvotes, but so be it: I find this site etremely valuable, but the knee-jerk bible-banging bluenosed puritainism around here gets pretty oppressive from time to time.
Do you think stores that sell pronography should be allowed to sell to children? Should they be allowed to let children in the store? Should they be allowed to market specifically to children?
If not, why not? Or, more specifically, how is Pornhub substantially different than a store that sells pornography?
That's all this law requires. Sell porn? You have to verify the age of your customer.
And Pornhub sells porn, they have a "loss leader" product that's available for free, but they are most definitely in the business of selling porn. The loss leader is just a marketing tool.
Put in this context, I think the law is fine, or you have to allow anyone who sells porn the same freedom they would otherwise have without it.
If a person thinks porn is harmless entertainment, and at the same time, deplores and wants to fight against trafficking and raping children, puts them in a moral conundrum, or it should, anyway. If you think the people making amateur porn are innocent of trafficking, rape, and indoctrination, you are lying to yourself. Of course, not all of them. But I would wager a mortgage payment that 75% of adults who are willing to perform, were subjected to some sort of molestation when they were minors. A millstone to the neck for their abusers. 16 year olds are hard to watch every minute, and that is fine, but I have heard that children under that age do access porn all the time. There has to be some way to protect them from that influence. Kids dont know who George Washington was, but they learn how to give blow jobs? Not okay.
When we put parental controls on our daughters phone I was really surprised I could still access porn hub. For some reason it didn’t register as mature content. I mean, I don’t think she would ever go there but curious minds do shit they shouldn’t all the time. I’m hoping honestly this site goes down into the river and drowns for good. Front page seems to be girls who barely can be 18 and incest.
I want you all to recognize that just as you did, they will. The more taboo you make something, the more you increase drive to get to it. That’s every single time, by the way. Even for something as simple as fire. They are kids.

Lol no. VPNs are important.
You don't know how many people are behind VPNs for good reason, doing actual work and investigation for this stuff.
We have a right to privacy, period.
A "right to privacy" is not in the constitution. The cabal only gets away with what they can because they do it in the shadows. It's only weird because no one talks about it. Or maybe no one talks about it because it's weird. I guess it's a chicken and egg kind of thing.
Well you have a Q in your name so Im convinced... greetings fellow Q type person.

Anything that squashes porn is a win!
Porn is poison and literally rewires/damages your brain.
So?
Look I know many of you think I'm on wrong side of this, and that's okay, we can agree to disagree.
I view porn as I do any other 'vice' out there. Probably best if you don't have any vices. If you do, better to not be controlled by them.
Mine happens to be single malt scotch. For others is the great God nic-o-teen (as Kipling eloquently wrote). For others it's pr0n.
Like Churchill, Are you getting more out of your vice than it's getting out of you? Or is it winning?
I'm not religious, maybe that's why our opinions differ, I dunno. Just trying to live in the realm of the real.
So, be an adult, don't share your chosen vice with kids (liquor, porn, gambling, whatever), and be a law abiding citizen and keep it legal.
There's the rub! (#nopuns kek)
Oh give me a break, most kids that want to access such content will just use a proxy server if they get blocked. It's how they got past the bkocks when I was in high-school.
Besides what good is age verification on the internet anyway? Both sides of this argument is next to pointless.
No, I'm NOT tired of winning, far from it.

and probably other ramifications. We will have to see this out to it's good conclusions while avoiding the bad ones
pornhub already utilizes ID verification in Louisiana, which has the same rules
ok but there needs to be stiff penalties for anyone distributing porn on clearnet , outside of the ID-verifying domain
Moronic theocratic authoritarian conservatives will cheer when it's porn, let's see them cheer when their ISP demands ID verification before it allows GAW to load, then maybe they'll realize how idiotic they're being.

Utah has the highest porn watching stats and the highest trans watching stats.
That’s awesome. Son is going to BYU this summer, you can get kicked out for that there. He won’t be getting kicked for porn!!
This isn’t winning. This is in fact the opposite.
You want this to be freely open to minors?
I want you all to recognize that just as you did, they will. The more taboo you make something, the more you increase drive to get to it. That’s every single time, by the way. Even for something as simple as fire. They are kids.
More control never wins. It just creates market.
That argument could be used to legalize anything though. Kids will drink alcohol if they really want to, so why try to control? Same with drugs.
And it 100% should.
Legalize everything and watch parenting go through the roof.
The nanny state has made you weak.
“What about the children” IS the oldest trick in the book.
Well, I suppose I can't argue with that.
