I made it halfway through and quit.
This isn't really a survey, it's a marketing tool to convince the weak-minded that BOC-backed digital currency is just as good as cash.
The pertinent questions are at the very end of the poll. Things like (paraphrasing) "How much trust do you have in the Bank of Canada", where you can answer "none", and "Will you ever use Digital Currency", where you can answer "never". There's about half a dozen of them.
It has the Right questions and Right Answers for answering in the Constant negative, just ignore the sales pitches, skim them to get an idea of the narrative so you can go against it....
Just did one round. It looks like the site cookie based, so if you use incognito you can close your browser, and re-open the link to do another one right away! Might be helpful to switch your IP's if you can too.
The problem with the digital currency is once enough people are using it, they will eliminate cash making it a lot more difficult for the hold-outs to keep functioning. We will need to start planning for that possibility. After they force all the normies to use their digital currency, they will use it to completely track everyone's financial transactions. This currency is like a communist's fever dream.
Take note, it looks like a marketing survey up front (and it probably is) but all the questions we really want to answer are towards the end. There's about 5 or 6 of them where we can profoundly reject digital currency.
That's how a lot of surveys are. Either they are worded to get the result they want or they aren't really surveys but interactive methods to introduce people to propaganda. This one might be a little bit of both.
I hope everyone here understands that they do not care how this survey turns out and they will implement CBDC regardless...this is only to warm people up to the idea that its coming and make them feel like they had a say
Very true! On the other hand, they are gauging the temperature for a reason. If it's too cold and there's not enough trust, they'll have to delay it to give them time for their propaganda to warm us up.
Trudeau really stepped in it when he had banks freeze the accounts of trucker protesters and those who donated to them. It caused confidence in the banks to plummet, thus pushing their agenda backwards. There was even a mini bank run.
No to CBDC because Central Banks of today should be abolished, but their is definitely many use cases for digital currencies like BTC, ETH, and a stable coin pegged to a honest physical dollar currency backed by gold or similar asset.
I hope you understand that the future doesnt care if you think its fine how things are. CBDC is inevitable. Blockchain technology will be used in so many facets it will be unbelievable.
and yet we have not come close to stabilizing our National Money, in accord with our Very knowledgeable Founders, yet we are soo stupid as to think that we can make a Wheel that is ""Rounder"" than any other wheel ever made....
My apologies fren, but you're missing the actual downsides to all of this, on Every point of all of this, which shows that there is in fact no upside to any of it, because it is based upon the Currency of one or another Private Baninking Corporation, that are owned by the Rothschilds.....
How does one BUY Cybercoin???
With DOLLARS....
Can it be traded in Rubles???
Yes, but it is still valued in Dollars.....
Can it be traded in North Korean ""WON""???
Yes, in accordance to the exchange rate to the Privately Owned Banking Corporations Federal Reserve Notes called DOLLARS, not American Constitutional Money called EAGLES....
Where the Weights not the coins, were the measurements, in dollars, same as Liters in Engines is not the same as Torque....
You have made a good, underrated point. If there is some kind of digital currency that becomes the "freedom currency", one of its notable features would be that there would be an incentive for people to sell stuff denominated in this currency, unrelated to value of Fiat currency.
If this ever happens, there will be no easy way for the Cabal to mess with it. They try to tank it by selling it cheap? Buy it up immediately, turn it around and buy items and make money. An exchange tries to fake the coins and create tons of nonexistant coins in thin air? Buy them, transfer to own wallet and turn it around and buy items. Send the exchange to bankruptcy.
The fact is, you dont even have to do these stuff as a service to soceity. The arbitragers will be motivated to do it for the value of it.
How does such a currency come to exist? Either some larger players must back it with enormous reserves of gold/silver/commodities etc, OR it has to have intrinsic value. The latter is what I would love to see.
How can a digital currency have intrinsic value? There is an easy way actually. Create a peer to peer network where you can put in your unused computing power as a commodity for people to use (those who want a website, or a server etc). You get fixed amount of computing power for a coin.
People constantly keep needing computing power and at the same time people constantly keep having idle computers. So you will always have a market here.
Personally, I think a digital currency that is superior to any other form of currency at least in some ways - is yet to be invented, and will be invented.
Just filled in the survey. Leaving this comment so I can navigate back to the link and go and fill it in several more times. Thankyou MemeToDeath for providing the P3N1R4 postcode.
Reject the BAD π CBCD (Central Bank Digital Currency). Embrace the GOOD π½ alternatives to CBDC.
I do NOT trust CBDC. I do NOT trust the Federal Reserve (Fed)'s fiat CBDC. Why? Because CBDC is CENTRALIZED. In other words, I do NOT trust ANY CENTRALIZED digital currencies. Including, but not limited to, I do NOT trust, Universal Monetary Unit (UMU), Unicoin, digital fiat currency.
Well, if you tell them you are not currently living in Canada they close the survey. Ooops. Just FYI!
Actually you just have to click back and change that and you're off to tre races again...
Pro tip: When they ask you about your income range, choose a high one. They'll pay more attention to you than someone earning 10k/year. π
And be sure to be part of several of the various special groups. A high income alphabet person it has better chance of being heard
Postal Code for 320 Main St., Greater Sudbury, ON is P3N1R4 if you need a code to use
Meanwhile if you do an american survey for the same thing, they immediately offer you a greencard and $1200 in democrat's taxypayer money.
I turned the VPN on just in case.
I made it halfway through and quit. This isn't really a survey, it's a marketing tool to convince the weak-minded that BOC-backed digital currency is just as good as cash.
I know it looks like that.

Oh, but so fun to suggest all public officials are required to use the Canadian Digital Currency exclusively upon penalty of death.
They are just doing research on improving their arguments... They don't give a single f lol
There's a question toward the end that asks your confidence that they will take the survey results into account when making their decision, lol
Yup, that section has Two of the ""How Much do you trust us"" questions, it's as if they really want to be trusted for some reason....
Vibe I got as well.
Seems i have moved to Nunabut. lol
I believe PEI is really nice this time of year
i became a self-identified Albertan.
Northwesterner now....
Brrrr it's cold outside....

I took the survey LOL. They won't like my answers . I will never adopt their mark of the beast digital currency - NEVER.

Possibility? More like inevitability. They arent drumming up all the CBDC talk to just say βnah we decided not to.β
Just to fuck them up, say that you're non-binary. Then if they ignore our opinions, we could frame it as them being "transphobic" =D
That is what I did!
Take note, it looks like a marketing survey up front (and it probably is) but all the questions we really want to answer are towards the end. There's about 5 or 6 of them where we can profoundly reject digital currency.
This is a tricky surveyβ¦ they are gathering data by asking you questions about yourselfβ¦ I didnβt click through the whole survey though.
Either give them bad data or use the "prefer not to answer" option.
You're not required to provide any private information.
Sonsabitches and their leading questions. Fuckinβ evil.
That's how a lot of surveys are. Either they are worded to get the result they want or they aren't really surveys but interactive methods to introduce people to propaganda. This one might be a little bit of both.
DO IT MULTIPLE TIMES PLEASE. AND ALSO WRITE YOUR TRUE OPINION WHEN GET ASKED TOWARDS THE END!
Let me just switch this VPN exit point..hold on! I'm back, and I took the survey. You're welcome Canadian frens I really let them have it.
Thanks Bedminster! We canucks need all the help we can get! π
no confidence, won't ever use it, nothing they say could convince me, don't believe they can do it securely etc
Done.
I'm doing my part (through a VPN)!
I hope everyone here understands that they do not care how this survey turns out and they will implement CBDC regardless...this is only to warm people up to the idea that its coming and make them feel like they had a say

I got through it. I let them know exactly what the Bank of Canada and Justin Trudeau can do with their proposed digital currency!
No to CBDC because Central Banks of today should be abolished, but their is definitely many use cases for digital currencies like BTC, ETH, and a stable coin pegged to a honest physical dollar currency backed by gold or similar asset.
So you're saying there's some weird Advantage to Digital Currency, that is comparable to Prepaid Cards....
Digital < Some Magical Coin < Physical dollar < Gold and Silver.....
Why is it that some people feel this incessant need to Reinvent the Wheel???
I hope you understand that the future doesnt care if you think its fine how things are. CBDC is inevitable. Blockchain technology will be used in so many facets it will be unbelievable.

Well, you said it, Digital Currency has Zero Intrinsic Value, and that is where the problem is to the Normal Everyday person....
Stupid or not, its going to happen.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr explains in a few words why he does NOT support CBDC. But SUPPORT Bitcoin.

Done.
I have four other devices, seems like I will be busy for a few minutes.
You could if Mobile, go to Local Restaurants and places that offer Internet, like Hotels....
I don't understand what they are getting at by saying you can use their digital currency without the internet. So there is no validation?
If somehow you are not able to fill this survey, an alternative option is to send them a direct email at [email protected]
