I'd love to try this. Unfortunately I live in an apartment complex. There are currently 13 WIFI channels in range of this computer.
Faraday blanket yourself
If it is not connected to earth, the blanket is just an antenna that picks up more signals.
I prefer to sleep on a pile of copper rods THANK YOU. π
Rename your wifi: "turnitoffatnight"
Plus, yours is the closest to your sleep so makes a little more difference.
But then I would have to change it from "Trump Won" ?
In that case you can keep it π
Most based WiFi name in history π
I have to change mine.
Cut the power to your building. Theyβll learn
Hmm. That might work. If I cut the power I'd probably go to jail. If I go to jail, they have permanent WIFI, so I'd have to shut that down too. That would probably get me sent to Solitary. Presumably there is no WIFI there. If so, problem solved.
Sometimes ya just have to think outside the box (or put yourself in the box?).
Put a piece of shungite next to your bed. I have been using it for years. Recently Clif High talked about shungite in an audio on his substack.

Well, there's your problem! kek
But seriously, long term, think about how to get away from cities, they're toxic on many levels!
I would if I could. If DWAC or GME or Silver have a break out, I can realize that. Otherwise it is currently economically impossible.
My lovely wife strictly enforces this rule.
You could do a trial where someone switches it off or leaves it on without telling you which. A few nights might show the pattern.
Last week, I had my work phone charging on the nightstand, didn't do my usual far-away-as-possible thing. At some point before dawn, I woke up suddenly with a severe stabbing pain on the side of my head that was closer to the phone, something I've never had before, and noticed the phone was on, not even on the lock screen but the full, bright home screen. I could hardly think with the pain but instinctively turned it off, unplugged it, put it in another room. The pain went away fairly quickly and has not returned, but that kinda freaked me out.
Fair enough, I was just wondering about how to convince others.
Charles Poliquin recommended this. Turn off the Wi-Fi router before bed. He was always ahead of his time.
Never really thought about it but it makes perfect sense

I'm gonna try this tonight since I've been having trouble sleeping. Does anyone have any concreate evidence of this?
Your brain is the most sensitive antenna in the universe. Which is why astrological phenomena hundreds of thousands of miles away can affect your mood. So a little electrical box in your house should have some effect.
I can vouch that leaving your cell phone outside your bedroom, as far away as possible, has stopped my horrendous reoccurring nightmares. We don't have any electronics in our bedroom except a humidifier. If I forget and have my phone in the room I have nightmares.
My rotor is in the basement and we are on the second floor. Does distance matter? What about wifi extenders. this is interesting.
Distance is everything

Put it on a timer.
Friend of mine had a small Yorkshire Terrier dog. This dog would not sleep through a night, and was often sick in the night. After a lot of hassle trying to figure it out with vets etc in desperation he switched off his wifi router. Dog slept fine and has ever since provided the router is off.
It might be out-of-human-range noise or maybe it is wifi signal itself, but whatever, animals I know can detect it, so makes sense humans can also. All you need is something in the body with geometry that resonates and there are many many candidates for that. For a small dog exposed to 5 GHz (fast Wifi) 6cm is going to be the approximate order of cavity size for resonating - the skull potentially, the standard 2.4GHz is going to resonate 12.5cm cavities - approaching human skull sizes. There are other factors, but I can see how these frequencies are capable of causing effects on typical animal geometries.
Incidentally just a bit higher than the highest 5G frequencies the signal is absorbed by O2 (oxygen). 5G doesn't run at that because the signal would not travel, but it IS within the capability of the hardware to put out signals that are bang on the resonant frequency of Oxygen... much debate about the potential of that as offensive weapon...
Not only wifi, if you use an emf detector next to a wall plugin, it will show considerable activity if something is plugged into it. As soon as you unplug your lamp or whatever, the dirty electricity will drop. So orient your bed away from wall plugins or unplug or best option: install a kill switch in your room where all electricity can be turned off before falling asleep.
That's not how electricity works. If your lamp is turned off, as in the switch is turned off and it's a normal lamp, there is no electricity flowing through its wires, even if it is plugged in.
Try it with an emf meter. Hold the meter near the plug, then unplug. There is a measurable shift.
Some houses are better wired to minimize dirty electricity. Another way is to get some reducers that can be plugged in.
That's just not how electricity works. I have analyzed this stuff myself with very precise equipments. I'm not just drinking the kool-aid here. When the switch is turned off, no noticeable current is flowing through that wire. Nothing that a consumer grade EMF meter would even dream of being able to pick up anyway.
Think of it like water. Imagine you have a pipe with water flowing constantly from one end to another. If you put a junction in there with another pile, the water would now split and flow through the two outlet pipes. But now put a cap on one of the outlets. Now the water inside that pipe is completely still, even though water is still flowing to the other outlet at the original pace.
This is why fire sprinkler systems have to be regularly drained and the water in them is so incredibly disgusting.
Electricity works the same way. It's flowing through the wires in your walls, but when the switch is off on the lamp, it is not flowing through the wires on the lamp.
for those in the country. for sure. those in the burbs, apartments, and such. that would be a nogo.
i met a woman who was paranoid about WIFI, Cellular and basically--radio frequencies.
She was in the suburbs. I decided to not tell her it was pointless.
the country will still get some like from Satellites.
interesting topic though. The Rainbow existed after God said it was a sign.
That alone shows us information can fly thru the air--frequencies.
I have some funky insulation under my roof, in the attic, and it prevents me from receiving cell signal in the house - even though I live in the suburbs and have excellent signal outside the home.
So maybe it isn't that hard to block things.
Glass will impede and so will wood. Yeah I would have to have a device like a EMF reader to prove.
Possible you have something interfering with the cell signal too.
I have been in building where they have a faraday cage. People have built homes with that or a full metal roof.
Yeah I can see custom homes and even apartments that do that.
It is interesting if one wants to do the effort, but I would want to prove it with a reader.
I am sure radio waves affect us. I am sure computers effect us too.
As for me I have been in telecom for around 3 decades. I think I am gonna see how much is in my home now. Lol. I have a bunch of Wi-Fi routers and all sorts of separated channels so we can all have smooth internet.
maybe. There is EMF readers. Most who work on mircrowave radios will have one, but they have EMF for residential use. Like to see how much is emiting from your computer or wifi.
What unplugging your WIFI router can do is a psychological thing -- which i am no expert on, but it could give people peace of mind.
EMF readers are inexpensive for the consumer ones. The pro-ones get a little pricy.
adding there is consumer long range WIFI antennas and those could be bad if one has them in their home. They are designed for farmers or ranchers and such so they have a far reach from their homebase. Usually those would be outside and up higher.
Also, quit caffeine. Caffeine is a literally toxin designed to kill bugs and will destroy your cortisol levels and sleep.
The first thing I did with my router was turn off Wi-Fi permanently.
I didn't need to read the scientific journals, or listen to anecdotal evidence, I just knew it was not good for me and mine.
It's not gonna get better moving forward. Read up on upcoming protocols for Wi-Fi devices, including the one that allows the device to read its immediate environment, and then broadcast the sensor data to a third party IN REAL TIME. That means your Wi-Fi router is going to become a real-time spy device, in your home, for whomever is receiving its data.
What if your phone calls and texts come thru Wi-Fi?
Yes been doing it for awhile, recommend it. Another thing i did was shut 5g wifi off when router is on, based on vids and reading this helps as well.
Local FM radio stations and weather radar are much more powerful than my 6 watt router. I've tried turning mine off but it made no noticeable difference for me.
We have two routers in our house, and we sleep fine.
Maybe it has to do with how close to the router(s) your bed is.
Found this out about 6 months ago. I bought a remote for the router since it is upstairs so before we go to bed, we just switch it off. Sleep better!
Also consider placing your cell phone away from your bed.
Been doing this for over a year. I think overall sleep is better, but that's just an impression that I haven't tried to verify in any way.
I you want to help me sleep better, get the people out of my dreams! Why does there have to be people in dreams?!!?
You know what first alerted me to this? My dog, my precious sheppie. Normally I would turn off the laptop , still connected, and try to sleep at a decent time (11 pm). She would get unsettled, up and down, making a bed here and there on the floor, scratching at the floor. I could not figure it out, she didn't need to go out and pee, if anything, she is an old dog and sleeping is a favorite hobby at her age. I remembered the advice to not sleep with the phone near your head, well, I dont have one, so I not only unplugged the lap top, I started to disconnect, and she was fine, settled. The router is in my sons room, I should tell him to try it, his room is at the other end of the house, I try to tell him that staying up till 3 gaming is the reason he cannot sleep, but, hey, I am his old mother and he knows so much more than I do (wink).
yep, this is why I wear my tinfoil had when I'm sleeping. Seriously try it! You will sleep like a baby all night long
"slur" hahahahaha. You sound like a flaming liberal " you disagreed with me so go away" Great Awakening - 1st amendment. agree to disagree. Subjective opinions. Why are you upset that I think your subjective opinion is crazy? I have a solution; ignore my subjective opinion that you disagree with (95% of the time I wouldn't even bother to respond to somebody who dislikes my subjective opinion) please take note that my reply had nothing to do with the original post and more to do with not allowing others to trigger you. have a wonderful day
Post edit: the "hide" button is an amazing tool for disappearing things you don't want to see. Feel free to use it on every post I make :)

What a bunch of BULLSH!T designed to make you one of those snowflake liberals who try to control the lives of others over some nonsense.
Someone comes to my door with this kind of BULLSH!T they're going to fall into a very deep sleep right there on my front porch.
How are your results valid? An apartment complex has wifi routers all over. If you turn yours off there's many still around you. It's just a placebo effect imo
I moved mine in the basement about a month ago however if you just go to wifi on your phone and view the accounts you will likely see a dozen, or more, different routers. It's pointless. And I'm in a SFR. So if I see many WiFi from neighbors, an apartment dweller will probably see 4-5x of that. Plus many apt buildings have antennae on the roofs.
