I was telling my liberal friend just yesterday that "woke" means being tricked into believing what they tell you to believe and feel so they can dismantle America and create their one world governance without resistance from the citizens. I said that "awakened" is the opposite of "woke. It means to know better than to trust what you are told to think and feel. Awakened means to research, think for yourself, and take all the factors into consideration.
The trailer looks great. It's really shocking how easily they got so many people to comply. I also like Concerned Citizen's profile with "pronouns-Fuk/Off".
I'm a huge fan of independent documentaries, but I just really wish they would lay off the fake distortion visual effects. The majority of these productions do it, even Dinesh D'Souza (whose work I love). They use fake static or simulated digital signal failure, usually to cut away from someone speaking. It's gimmicky. Just stop.
It is when it gives libs and normies an excuse to not take the content seriously. Trust me, the vast majority of film critics are libs. And they intentionally conflate style with substance.
This trailer is super slick and professional. It looks expensive and well-produced. That conveys a sense of legitimacy in Hollywood more than almost anything. When leftist see this, I don’t think they’re dismissing it so easily. I think they’re thinking, “Shit, this looks like a real movie. Shit, this looks like it could be on Netflix.”

What WON'T they do?
They WON'T acknowledge the lack of visual effects, and then accord a film respect and credibility on that account.
Thinking that will happen is like John McNoname thinking if we're super nice to the terrorists we capture, then the bad guys will remember that and be super nice to our guys later in the same situation. Because fair-minded!
For one thing, the effects aren't necessary. They're just gadget filters in tools like Final Cut Pro and After Effects. I've played with them and they're gimmicky. There are other legit ways to grab attention and keep the viewer engaged. I know this because I've done countless hours of shooting and editing video.
It's not about placating the left, it's about forcing them to critique the substance instead of the easy targets.
The sooner and the more of us realise that the solution is staring right back at us at the mirror, and the closer we work together, the closer we are to undoing the societal rot done to humanity. There is no outnumbering us if we do this, we outnumber those subhuman parasites, even their paid drones combined, and no other power can compare.
This is why I felt like winning is inevitable. It's taking way longer than I expected, but this is a one way street. Once you wake up, that's it - it's over! You can never go back to sleep. And gradually, one at a time, people do wake up (most of them).

I get what you are saying. I too felt Dinesh let 2kMules be a little too gimmicky and that it took away from the seriousness of the matter.
