Yep. The lost sales and jobs will go to competing brewers, so its not a net loss of jobs in the economy. But it sure sucks for the individuals who lost their jobs.
That only works to our advantage when competing businesses start up. Usually, a large competitor ramps up and has to hire a few people, but it's nothing compared to the number of jobs lost.
The union shut down a cinder block factory my brother worked for, and very few of those people got jobs with competitors. The consumer paid more though, so in the end, I have to wonder what the real reason was for the union strike.
If Dylan Mulvaney scares some alcoholics straight and demand permanently plummets then "losing" those jobs is a good thing. There are plenty of job openings for people with these skill sets and they won't be without work for long.
It's like saying we better not find a cure for cancer because too many good people have been working for decades profitably looking for a cure and treating it.
All the AB CEO had to do was immediately fire the people involved and make an apology that this promotion should not have executed. Instead, they let this drag out, waited 2 months to fire the people involved and still hasn't apologized.
This failure will be taught in business schools for the next 100 years.
I was thinking about the Bud Light boycott long-term.
I think Bud Light, and a lot of other companies, were surprised by the success of the boycott, and will have to consider that every time they decide to go woke.
What if, we had an annual Bud Light boycott for the entire “Pride Month” every year, until Bud Light completely disengages from all things Pride Months and woke.
Every year, Bud Light sales collapse for 30 days in June. So they have to maintain capacilty for the other 11 months,
Sure, but if AB apologized or backpedalled in any way the gay bunch would have had a shrieking meltdown and made it that much worse for Transheuser. The gay bunch pretty much has to "maintain order" or else it loses their power of fear. A boycott that draws blood is the gay bunch's worst fear, even Targay and Starbucks blinked on it.
Even businesses outside of Anheuser-Busch are getting hit, with retailers taking major financial hits because they’re struggling to sell their supply of Bud Light. In fact, it’s been so bad that the beer has been priced lower than water at some bars.
Production plants that work with the Anheuser-Busch brand are now starting to shut down, with a glass bottle factory in Wilson, North Carolina being forced to close its doors in the next few weeks, according to WRAL.
Declining sales “forced a glass plant in Wilson to cut down bottle production starting in May,” read WRAL’s report.
Another plant associated with Bud Light in Ruston, Louisiana is also shutting down, with 245 jobs being lost.
I thought all Bud products were produced in St. Louis and then shipped across country. Wow, was I wrong. There are probably 100 Bud brewing and bottling plants across the country. Kinda like Coke and Pepsi, huh?
Probably most of the employees don't buy into the trans propaganda. Most of North Carolina and Louisiana are rural working class people that live a simple life. I've never been to Louisiana but just like the rest of the south it's pretty Bible believing conservative people. Sadly they are the ones being punished for upper management stupidity.
Such a horrible place to be. They get to destroy American workers and companies many patriots purchase from. Its a win win for them. Either you parrot their trans activist bs and keep being a mouth piece or you go out of business. Yes they had a choice. But the 1000's of Americans who work and survive off these businesses are hurt the most.
By the way, is there any good beer out there? I haven't had a beer in 30 years. My favorite used to be Stroh's. Last I heard they went out of business.
soon, the enemy will infiltrate every company, do & say some woke shit, which will result in them all shutting down... good people will be out of jobs & that is exactly what the communists & anarchists want. it's a shame either way.
every company, regardless of trade or product, is open to infiltration by these people.
It is sad and unfortunate that so many good people have to lose their job because AB is run by woke assholes.
Yep, and they're trying to play that angle to get you to stop boycotting.
Yep. The lost sales and jobs will go to competing brewers, so its not a net loss of jobs in the economy. But it sure sucks for the individuals who lost their jobs.
Should we crowdsource a Patriot brand and buy that plant?
Good question.

Highly likely they will switch to another beer. They aren’t drinking bud light for the taste
I believe that people will be in a lot worse shape than being unemployed if we don't stop the left
Yup. Job skills can translate to other companies/industries.
A destroyed culture cannot be revived.
Some people want to "go back to normal", we can only go forward.
That's a great observation, thanks.

They also continued to support an LGBTG+++++ festival in Canada a week or two ago.

I like how you think!
Ba-doomp TISHHHH

They are the minority. AB's sales would not have tanked that bad.
"Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater" got us to this point.
Fire 'em all, let God sort 'em out.

Some say there’s more at play, as owner Ardagh Group has been closing US plants and investing overseas

Someone buy that closing plant
Classic,,, go woke go broke,,
Why would They choose globalism over community,, push the agenda of globalism to destroy their companies?
CEO is CIA

One bad idea by a group of people can bring down an empire.

Yeah. Beer is heavy, thus expensive to ship countrywide from a single source plant.
Especially with electric trucks 😆
If only they could get an easement to run a beer pipeline from St Louis to everywhere.
Why? Their products are crap. Drinking cow urine would be better.

Now do exported businesses

Upvoted to cancel out whatever Bud Light-swilling faggot downvoted you
Thank you kind friend!
New beer named “angry people “
I understand it's the companies that supply them the bottles that are closing. Sad for those workers.
By the way, is there any good beer out there? I haven't had a beer in 30 years. My favorite used to be Stroh's. Last I heard they went out of business.
Microbrews

Get woke, go broke AB!
Of all the great things that Q promised would happen in the future, I never anticipated shitty beers being run out of business would be one of them.
