Looks like it was mostly crappy resolution and bad lighting imo. Nothing immediately stood out. The Whites of his eye’s never completely disappeared. And a hallmark of the black eye thing. Is usually the whole eye is black. Not just the pupil.
And the appearance of the webbed hand looks like just a bad angle. Combined with the shit lighting and camera resolution
Also notice how he keeps his eyes down or to the side for the most part, so you are not immediately noticing that his baby blues appear to be dark black-red irises.
I agree. Although, if they are using these, why aren't they using the kind that have the opacity and coloration to cover the electronics and mimic natural eye color?
Joe's are just solid black w/ red undertones over the entire iris and pupil which looks ghastly. Looking at the examples shown in your linked video, even with the largest display, we should still see some of his blue eye coloring showing through, but we don't.
The hands to me are just his sagging under fingers, just an illusion with the angle of the camera and how far his fingers are spread apart. The eyes definitely creep me out though. Not sure if a camera thing or what, but they certainly aren't blue.
