Grow your own! Just like fruits and veggies, it's easy, and saves money! Added benefit of you knowing exactly what goes Into it.
I realize this is not an option for all.
Additionally if you treat it with respect and don't consume all day, everyday, your chance of developing psychosis is minimized. It's really only heavy users, and especially heavy users that start young that really have problems.
Eating even a few hundred milligrams a day is fine. Some people are genetically predisposed to developing mental problems from even a little bit of cannabis, I've seen it twice. But for almost all of the species it's fine.
That's cool, it doesn't affect everyone the same. I had lots of friends growing up who used heavily and frequently. 2 out of maybe 12 developed psychosis in their late 20s early 30s.
I agree it’s good idea but it’s not as easy as you say. Lots of time involved and money spent and you can lose your crop due to mold, pests and theft if outdoors. Growing isn’t for everyone, probably only good for a few at best.
I grew 12 plants last year in an urban environment outdoors. There was some powdery mildew, but it can be washed off, or let the rain remove it in the fall. Usually happens when the temp drops. I spent about 200 on fertilizer and additives (sugars and carbs). I got the equivalent of near 2000 in flower. I'd say its worth it. Like growing any plant you just have to check on it a couple times a week to ensure it's getting enough water and nutrients.
PM is VERY bad for your lungs. I chose not to take a risk, avoidable, with my health. You can’t wash it out of the flowers, too dense, you’ll never get it “clean”. Your health, your choice.
There have been a couple posts (besides one of mine) on covid-induced and vax-induced psychosis.
This may be a cover story to deflect from vax injury.
From potheads I've known, it can create a general brain degradation over time, and sometimes hallucinations, but I haven't seen it cause frantic mania.
The opposite has been my anecdotal experience as well. If stereotypes exist for a reason, consider the stereotype of the pothead who is a paranoid conspiracy theorist. Such a person isn’t taking government/ corporate injections
I will admit the grateful dead got fooled..promoted jab and required jab or test for shows.."test me test me..why don't you arrest me"...had to miss some shows
Many substances affect people differently. Many people tolerate alcohol without problems, but Native Americans often respond to alcohol as if it were crack cocaine, with a near-instant addiction that devastates their lives.
More power to you, if you enjoy pot without problems. You're not alone. No condemnation or pollyanna warnings from me. You be you. But I've seen some brain-dead potheads who were lively and sharp before starting. But sure, call me a fool.
How would you know how great you have been or could have done. You've been high since 71. Thats not something to brag about. You should be thankful. Not spiteful towards others who see not all share the same fortune. Also, wheres that mellow? One thing you precieve as anti pot and out comes the name calling. Seems to me you arent as level headed as you like to think.
I can understand that. But I have been here a while and have a lot of personal experience and can say first hand it can have a pretty adverse impact on people. In a lot of different ways. And people who are pro pot become uncivil at light speed the second someone questions their beliefs on Marijuana. Normally taking the "Im doing just fine" road. There are far too many peolpe that arent doing fine. And its because they had/have issues and weed makes it worse. Becomes a crutch they use to phase the problems away.

I was a Navy recruiter 98-2001 last hurrah, In N. Minnesota no less, the only ones smart enough to qualify smoked weed, and enjoyed their job in college I say that with a grin because they still hadn't picked major, because it was just too much fun having 3 classes a week and partying the rest of the time. I took an applicant to MEPS 29 yrs. old smoked all the time, cut a 99 on the ASVAB highest possible score, humph? I interviewed an applicant who had never smoked no other problems, except couldn't get higher than an 8 on the ASVAB practice test. So just my take,
I've seen it many times over the years but I obviously never caught this marijuana part, rewatching it there's a part where Cathy talks about how if aliens show up its probably humans pretending to be aliens to take advantage of psychology of such a status.
She also hints at folks with eyed wide open being mind control victims put into places of power to ensure they stay robotic and obedient, made me think of that one lady with the wide eyes at that court case where she's mouthing the words that the lawyer is saying in front of her. Can't find that clip because I don't remember which court case it was.
Sounds more like an excuse for the mental ailments the current system is creating in people. There is and has always been moderate risk in overusing cannabis, particularly the modern strains ridiculously high in THC and low in other cannabinoids.
All it did was make me stupid and lazy, so I quit over 30 years ago. Now I can't stand the smell of it, and I see that its effects in others are the same as mine were.
I am right there with you off and on though couldn't smoke in the Navy or when I went in the coal mine at 47. But I grow some top shelf stuff, do not like this new shit they have Delta 8, 9. I just don't trust it.
Not my experience AT ALL I am 64 I just built a 3700 sq ft. house by myself and a little help from friends and fam. I carried around 24' 8x10's 4x10's 20' high ceilings 12/12 pitch roof and I did all of it, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, roofing, framing, basement, the only thing I contracted out was the closed cell foam I did it in 2 years smoking every night to help sleep and with the pain. So there is that.
So has deswine figgered out the tax rate yet?...the ballot said 10%. He thinks 15 is the sweet spot ..till they decide it's legal to drive around w a bale on your roof
TLDR: Marijuana constricts the cerebral blood vessels and causes brain damage.
SO, with the legal status changing and thus more potheads around, we can expect to see more instances of damage and people will respond differently based on what exactly was damaged, is my take on it.
I only consume cannabis concentrate and I have to say I struggle with visions of a clandestine military force overcoming the evil child diddlling cabal, sorry team I need help

We all crazy FAM, you can try to say you squares but we are all drinking the same kooliad.
Man this is so under reported. Weed causes psychosis. The chemicals used to grow weed is super harmful. They’ll put anything on it to make it grow asap.
When you smoke weed you’re smoking chlorine and other chemicals used in fertilizer. Marijuana also soaks up heavy metals from soils.
Overall I highly recommend staying away from weed and spreading the honest truth about it to those lost
If you are smoking chemicals, that's not weed. It's chemicals. I only smoke my own so I know what's not in it, which is any kind of chemical. Growing magnificent Cannabis plants outdoors in living soil full of homemade organic compost, companion plants and beneficial creatures is inherently good for health. Very different perspectives, huh?
STFU..been smoking weed since 1971..still party..I have Never seen evidence of that in myself or any of my friends...I have perfect blood pressure and am on zero meds..
I totally disagree, with your assessment, except I agree with the chemicals thing, that is why you should know how it is grown. And the Government should keep their hand out of it. And who is to say that the people who have adverse effects used something else.
You speak from ignorance not one thing you said is true. The regulation and lab testing are actually overbearing. I've personally destroyed thousands of pounds of weed that didnt pass labs.
Honest truth? You aren't even in the same ball park.
I’ve heard old times pot heads say todays weed isn’t weed. There’s a reason why it’s being legalized nationwide and it’s not because these politicians are having a change of heart. They’ve been altering seed genetics for decades.
I lived in central florida during 70s college..helped pablo's crew unload shrimp boats full of columbian weed...occasionally panama red..awesome.."Panama red panama red..hell steal your woman then he'll Rob your head". New riders
Lol weed tards gonna love this! Just don't drink or do drugs. I'm in AZ and the shit is everywhere drive down the street with the windows down and you can smell it. Just another tool the globohomos put out there to make you stupid
it can exacerbate mental health issues but in fairness it's probably in a minority of cases and if the person is otherwise mentally healthy it may not cause such issues
the moral problem is it seems to induce a state of intoxication so would be contrary to the virtue of sobriety
So is cannabis induced nausea and vomiting aka hyperemesis. I see it at work at least once or twice a week. People come into the ER unable to stop vomiting but after they are told it's probably from smoking weed, they still don't stop and usually show up again with the same symptoms. You can't fix stupid. 🙄
Back in the day in the UK all we could get was hashish, courtesy of Howard Marks. Just Afghani Black, I hated the stuff.
The creme de la creme was Nepalese Temple Balls, grapefruit sized with a centre filled with opium. Very expensive stuff.
Some people have flashbacks to suppressed abuse memories when they have smoked some truly powerful herb for the first time. One person I knew who that happened to had a full blown shock reaction with skin ice cold to the touch and feeling they were going to die. Something like that could be considered a psychosis probably but it's the trauma surfacing that is the problem. Without having to deal with that it would be just a great high. Cannabis might lead the person to see through some their mental walls first though. It helps the person to begin to process trauma. That's why many people find it is good for PTSD.
I think the reality is Cannabis prevents psychosis far more than it could ever induce it.
Pure cannabis is amazing.
Problem? The DS is adding shit that causes all manner of bad effects.
Anything to continue the stigma.
Buy from hippie mafia or grow your own....fuck state stores

Eating even a few hundred milligrams a day is fine. Some people are genetically predisposed to developing mental problems from even a little bit of cannabis, I've seen it twice. But for almost all of the species it's fine.
Milenials w no experience over do edibles and go to hospital
True but that distress is all in their heads and not a result of physical harm by the drug.
I nearly did, and I'm in my mid 50s!
That's cool, it doesn't affect everyone the same. I had lots of friends growing up who used heavily and frequently. 2 out of maybe 12 developed psychosis in their late 20s early 30s.

It works for me but I also enjoy it like a hobby.
PM is VERY bad for your lungs. I chose not to take a risk, avoidable, with my health. You can’t wash it out of the flowers, too dense, you’ll never get it “clean”. Your health, your choice.
You mean like that synthetic weed? That stuff can induce psychosis for sure, like make people hallucinate and make them crazy.
No they're not.
There may be a synergy between recreational drug and vax damage as well.
All I know is that most potheads I knew fell for the Convid hype and took at least the first two jabs.
I’ve actually experienced the opposite
The opposite has been my anecdotal experience as well. If stereotypes exist for a reason, consider the stereotype of the pothead who is a paranoid conspiracy theorist. Such a person isn’t taking government/ corporate injections
I will admit the grateful dead got fooled..promoted jab and required jab or test for shows.."test me test me..why don't you arrest me"...had to miss some shows
I like some of the jams of the Dead, but I don’t trust them. Manufacturing the Dead Head
Been a "pot head" since 71...took no jabs
Their discernment wasn't switched on.
I worked in the industry in Nevada. Most of out staff of 500 did not take it. The place was a buzz of maga supporters who would tow the line.

You don’t need to call him a moron. He made a good point when he said, “This may be a cover story to deflect from vax injury.”
"brain degradation and hallucinations". Sounds like readers digest
I know, I didn’t like that that part of his comment, but the earlier part was good.

Per Kathy O'Brien (SRA survivor), cannabis was the only drug they were not allowed to have because it messed with the MK Ultra programming.
Very interesting

Cbd isolate... You can pick up 50grams for like 50$ now. Thanks trump
Old school weed was natural. That was the good stuff.
But people being people, we just have to figure out how to "make it better."
Over time, and especially with legalization, the THC content has been manipulated, both up and down.
Turns out, a THC content over 20% (old school stuff was usually under 10%) can produce psychosis.
This is a big problem in Colorado, from what I hear.
Wrong look up thc content of gold columbian in the 70s or Thai weed
You look it up.
Key is high THC levels are causing more psychosis.
It was 20%. Thought you would benefit from research
hence SOMA (aka: weed)
Ya think?? There's a dispensary on every corner.
All it did was make me stupid and lazy, so I quit over 30 years ago. Now I can't stand the smell of it, and I see that its effects in others are the same as mine were.
Started smoking fifty years ago..got 130 iq worked hard my whole life. Still party
Congrats. I'm sure the experience is different for some people.

No substance will ever have any power over me.
So no alcohol, nicotine, drugs, shrooms, marijuana, nothng.
You obviously have no experience w weed shrooms dmt...alcohol I agree w
Ohio now has legal weed...my fifty year crime spree is over
Laughing My Ass Off I too am not breaking the law now.
So has deswine figgered out the tax rate yet?...the ballot said 10%. He thinks 15 is the sweet spot ..till they decide it's legal to drive around w a bale on your roof
Landrace strains are the way to go

Ayuhusaka cures many addictions ..check out rythmia in costa rica

Bud is also way too high in THC and too low in CBD
The stoner stereotype was chill and laid back in the past because those buds were mellow and filled with CBD.
Now the stereotype is paranoid schizophrenic because that's what the weed nowadays does
You need to go to more jamband concerts
