Just buy rolled oats or better yet, Oat Grouts in bulk from a source other than commercial. We get them in a 50lbs sack from the local grain coop and they're ggggrrreat.
I also have a Grainmaker, but this one is nice because of the selectable milling function between grinding and flaking. Mine was a NOS (New old stock) ebay find that has 3 positions (one grind and two flakes iirc) but that link I gave you seems to indicate they now come with 6 different settings which is interesting
PGRs are commonly used in agriculture and horticulture and have been for many decades. I used them often when i was in ornamental production. Gibberellic acid promotes cell elongation in stubborn plants, makes them stretch and fast. But we dont consume ornamentals. B-nine is another that reduces internodal elongation. Very interesting in the standpoint of plant biology but yeah pretty yucky stuff for human consumption.

Unless you source it to your own farm, there is no guarantee anything is actually organic.

I'm not proposing how. But it may be good to double-check the information. Supposedly, on paper, it is not supposed to be used for any food crops.

They do look really nice. I have been borrowing my MIL's grain mill. I would love to get a manual one for the just in case - SHTF.
Also makes cream of wheat with wheat and a separation basket and I can use the bran for muffins
