Pretty sure that's just a common Orb Weaver Spider. They are a very, very common garden and forest spider and there's over 3,000 species of them ; none of them are dangerous or harmful to humans.
Black and Brown Widows are the only dangerous orb weavers afaik.

If you line up all 8 1/2 inch legs after you squash it, it will be 4 inches. That's how fake news works.
