I mean alcohol is terrible for your health for so many reasons. It would be better to quit drinking all together instead of just giving up one brand or another because it's all basically poison. It's like smoking cigarettes or chewing tobacco or any other intoxicant. Only worse. Alcohol puts holes in your brain it fucks up your endocrine system it fucks up your your liver your digestive system pretty much there isn't a single system in your body that alcohol doesn't have a negative interaction with.
I mean I generally agree but people have been drinking since the dawn of time. Processed foods and seed oils are the bigger poison.
There are Italians and French who drink wine everyday but are fine cause they eat real food.
Okay I will give you that, statistically a small to moderate amount of alcohol in a day can be beneficial for your cardiovascular system because it acts as a solvent and it can help dissolve plaque in your veins and arteries. Now in France and Italy, I'd be willing to bet they have some pretty stringent regulations around the quality of the product that you're allowed to sell with regards to wine, considering how much of a integral part of their culture it is. I can't touch it though because my gut has been completely fucked by the food here in the States with all the additives and GMO bullshit and pesticides that are illegal and pretty much every other country on the planet, with our monoculture crops that strip all the nutrients from the soil until we have to add petroleum based fertilizers in order to continue to farm, without using any crop rotation or anything like that. From my perspective, I can't even have a sip of alcohol without having violent painful diarrhea and severe bloating for the rest of the night and the next day. Overall though I don't think that the mild benefit to your cardiovascular system is worth all the possible damage you could be doing to every other system in your body by imbibing. If it's to the point of intoxication then I don't think it's worth it because after a certain point you're actually hardening your arteries with that shit because you'll get a build up of scar tissue in your heart veins and arteries.

Smoking helps a of asthmatics, especially if they roll their own clean leaves, whether cigarette or cigar or pipe. Good wine and beer are very healthy, and hard liquor can be healthy as well, everything in moderation.

From what I can find in a quick search, this happened in 2021. There were some headlines from 2023 saying "far right" were calling for a boycott. I don't recall this, but I also don't drink JD. It may be an ongoing hookup for them though. I would boycott if I drank that crap.

You should be supporting your local distiller anyways. You probably have a distiller within 100 miles of where you live that makes just as good or better bourbon than a multinational Corp.
It’s not a particularly good bourbon either. Maker’s Mark is a wheated bourbon and much smoother.
