I agree that Ben isn't exciting and doesn't really speak leader. I am torn about this guy because I am a Christian man.
The country needs a somewhat Christian leader to bring back Christian values. Ben fills that need for me.

Quite a lot of people who can't stomach Trump because they think he is "too mean" would find Ben Carson to be a good even tempered person to balance out the ticket. Also we really do need someone like Ben Carson to bring America back to strong Christian values. I don't understand why people think we need someone exactly like Trump to be his VP...

Ben is a strong Christian, and I love him to death, but he's not a leader. He's too soft-spoken and meek.
I doubt Trump will get the swamp fully drained by 2029, so his VP (and assumed successor) needs to be just as passionate to fix the country as Trump is in order to tie up any loose ends after Trump's term ends.

Ben Carson is the only politician I've ever sent money. I think he's a wonderful person, and will do wonderful things for this country, but not right for President. He isn't hard-nosed and tough enough. If anyone is familiar with MBTI, each type is "excellent" at something, and can do it naturally with their eyes closed. President Trump's type is excellent at running large organizations, a natural CEO. He is in his element in that situation, whether it's running his many companies, a large staff, or the USA. I don't know Ben Carson's type letters, but he needs to be matched to a job that uses his inborn natural skills, so he, too, can do an outstanding job for our country. They both seem like kind-hearted, "people" people, but Trump has the "in-your-face", almost ruthless, attitude and grit we need right now. My 2 cents worth...
I love Ben Carson and originally wanted to see him as president in 2016. I definitely want him in Trump's circle, somehow. I don't know about VP. Though I would love to see him as VP and then, someday, president, I just think we need someone more outspoken and frankly, a bit nastier and more alphamale-ish. Like Trump. The VP needs to be able to assume the office of president, if necessary. I don't know if he is mean enough for that job. Maybe we would benefit from a gentle soul like his. I don't know. I fear the left would tear him apart.
Maybe the Surgeon General? Definitely something in Trump's cabinet or circle. I really love and respect Doc Carson.

I remember my first time trying to get a start up off the ground. The reason why it didn't work. Too many people wanted to lead and take ownership of the company.

You need people who don't have a problem being a follower. Their main goal is to help execute the plan.
That's how I see Ben.
Ben would not want to outshine Trump. He would understand the goals and be in place to help execute those goals.
I have no doubt of that. But he would need to be able to be president if Trump died. Not totally inconceivable at his age. I don't think he will, he seems very healthy and energetic. But the VP should be someone who could lead the country. Anybody who is also an alpha should realize that Trump is the ultimate alpha and be willing to learn from him.

He’s a Solid Middle of the Road candidate.
He’s likable enough for the majority of the base. Even if he’s not considered “Ideal”.
Rhetoric wise he hasn’t been super extreme. So he’d probably be better suited to trying to start the arduous task of stitching the country back together domestically. Including extending olive branches to whatever would be left of the American left.
The VP role is as much glorified diplomat to foreign powers, State Governments, and Federal Agencies as it is anything else. And that’s something that needs to be factored in any choice.
Personally I wouldn’t prefer him in that role. Though I also wouldn’t be terribly surprised if he ends up there.
He would bring the Christian, black and impoverished urban vote. America first would benefit bigly from him.
Build up the communities who need help and stop wasting resources on foreign lands who hate us but make DC rich.
Love him, he is very intelligent, but too mild mannered. Great person to head up NIH and clean it up, Or CDC or cabinet position as head of Health and Human Services, No more masks or mandates.
Trump has some very good picks. Men and women who would also serve him well as cabinet members. However, the way I think about the choice is that "the Plan" would be to choose someone who could carry the presidency in case he could not or into the next term.

BTW - Christianity doesn't have a monopoly on good values... let's not discuss how much violence has been done in the name if Christ for thousands of years. Let's not pretend it didn't happen either. Everyone knows right and wrong. Whether their actions reflect that, is a totally different subject.
My big thing is that our for profit medical & pharmaceutical systems must be completely overhauled. No better person to head that task force and come up with a creative healthful cure focused system than Dr. Carson. Remember it was these systems that they used to democide us. Huge job.
