Hunter can simply say he doesn't remember - a plausible "out" considering his alleged rampant drug use - to anything they ask him in a court of law.
What this may be doing is setting a precedent for Trump to issue pardons across the board to whomever he deems worthy, regardless of time frames or of any charges. It would be a way to clean the slate for all individuals the DS exercised lawfare against, absolve good people of bad, unjust "stains", so to speak. Vance (or whoever takes the reins next) can do the same for Trump himself if POTUS chooses to remain a "felon" during his upcoming term. We can call it "The Badass Term" as POTUS dismantles and shreds the DS for four solid years.

Presidential Immunity only covers FEDERAL CRIMES. Such as the 3 gun Felonies and the 9 Federal Tax evasion charges.all go away.
I question the "any law" clause, as this is a blank check - if they find bodies in the back yards; I doubt murder would be covered.
