Our schools and governments have farmed generations of pro communist & government useful idiots. They are lazy, won't work for whitey, and want to be spoon fed everything immediately ( entitlements ).
Weak and wanna be cool parents are also guilty for allowing lazy ADULTS to live at home well past 18+. So many illegals were doing jobs that these generations were supposed to be doing.
We are about to get flooded with a huge demand for labor when there is already a shortage in certain fields ( at least from what I see and hear ).
We want these companies to flourish in America, but without their lifeblood ( employees ) it seems it could become a real problem for some areas.
Some will say all of these recently retired fed parasites might help, but I don't see someone who was getting paid to do nothing their whole life suddenly working for a living.

Mike Rowe has been working on this for years now for blue collar jobs and high tech headhunters as well but your point is well taken,i got a niece in her twenty's that still wont get her driving license and yes it is the parents fault.
Work and applicable training requirements for handout recipients.
Strict reevaluations for disability recipients under 55, too many grifters.
Take away Pell grants, federal loan money for bullshit classes/degrees.
Update university accreditation standards, if they want to teach bullshit they need to do it with their funding, not ours.
Use money saved in these areas for training and rewards for productivity, not Lazy Grifting.
Universities should, in truth, have to go without vast amounts of funding as punishment for trying to incite revolution against the USA. Make them reimburse the federal government for all that student debt. Their woke training is treasonous to America, overpriced, and we have all seen its effect on someone we know personally.

When someone becomes highly specialized the available positions shrink. With 30 years of experience you are expecting top dollar wages. Sounds like they are hiring less qualified people for less money.

The problem now a days is that the young generation doesn't think that they should have to struggle. They want "livable" wages which in their minds is enough money to eat out everyday, buy a house they can't afford plus do all the extra shit that they want to do. They have no concept of sacrifice or doing without. They want all this but they want to take off days when their spouse has a doctors appointment, their kid has a sniffle and god forbid that you ask them to work over 40 hours a week.
I live in the construction world. The biggest struggle I have is employees. Finding people willing to work and show up. That and fucking smart phones. These clowns are glued to their phones. They don't realize the little short videos that they are watching are all staged. That and pot, you can throw a handful of rocks on any construction site and hit 5 potheads.

My interviews always leave me shaking my head. What I grew up with as common sense has to be explained to them. It boggles my mind that they made it thru 20-30 years and didn't accidentally gain some common sense.
I tell every candidate no phones unless you have a prego wife or your truck is in the shop. This is why u have breaks and a lunch. They literally look at like I'm speaking martian. Others think all they have to do is show up. I'm like no, we actually have to do stuff ya know.
I could go on for days with stories. It's sad cuz I could employ another handful, but I just quit looking. It's just not worth it. We invest time and money in them and they never last and all we ask is the basics, some mentioned above.

Everywhere is hiring all of the time. IDC if it's McDonald's or Kroger or a major fortune 500 company needing manual and menial laborers.... a vast majority of the unemployed are making life choices that stop them from even beginning to seek a job. How we eliminate this trend, I do not know. Perhaps some form of voluntary conscription or internship in order to participate in certain privileges such as Social Security, other social benefit programs, maybe even voting itself. After HS graduation new applicants must choose military or trade school for 2 years in order to gain access to these privileges? Just spitballing...

Gaps in employment didn't put me on the dole, except I did receive unemployment a few months once. You work and save for a rainy day, and any job is better than no job...

High minimum wages takes away job opportunities for young kids. Gone are the days of paper routes and baby-sitting. Even weeding/lawn mowing jobs are hard to come by. They can't work in retail or food until they're 18. Then, they really aren't worth the min. wage + benefits the state requires business to pay them. Add in autistic challenges that many kids have (what is the percentage now?) and it's very hard for some of them to find employment.
Lets not forget rainbow hair, full face tattoos, 2lbs of metal hanging from their face, etc. Yes I know there are good hearted & hard working ppl that have this stuff. I speak on majorities ( always gonna be grey areas ) and the majorities of these ppl usually are not good hearted & hard workers.
