Here’s my take on the back and forth about the decision to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities:
President Trump thanked God in his address to the nation. This is clearly something he has prayed about and was deeply concerned over, i.e., whether to do it, if so how, and will our men be safe.
No one really knows whether bombing the facilities was a good or bad decision - only time will tell us that in the weeks and months ahead.
People can and will express their opinions, but they are just speculating. No one has ever done a preemptive strike on a nuclear facility, so this is not something that we can look at history to predict the future.
Trump is a genius and wants peace. He felt this was necessary to achieve peace when Iran rejected his proposals. I trust his judgment, but he, like all of us, has his weaknesses.
The execution of the mission was flawless and should strike fear in countries like Iran.
If the facilities are destroyed, Israel can no longer trot out Iran as the boogeyman to seek military aid from the US.

On Wednesday the Israeli envoy to the US said Iran must also not have the capability to produce ballistic missiles. Many government officials have threatened to kill Iran's leader and said the Iranian regime must be changed. Knocking out the nuclear sites will only make them move to one of their other motives to continue their attacks on Iran.
Wasn't DJT saying something a week or so ago that no one would be in the facilities? I am not remembering it fully - too much going on to keep track- but IIRC it was kind of a warning to 'get out'.
