Maritime insurance alternative probably took 6 months to setup. Note that is was rolled IMMEDIATELY AFTER Lloyds said they were cancelling or declaring force majeure (to void without penalty). Trump admin waited for globalist play to then immediately roll out the counter to defuse their "narrative grenade".
Risk insurance is the big factor here that is stopping the tanker flow that hardly anyone is talking about.

It was only going to get far worse if allowed to continue and the pain later would have been far greater versus the bump in the road we are currently experiencing. Of course he has a plan. It’s already been started. He freed up some Russian oil in the interim. Pipeline to India and a bunch of Russian oil tankers that have been cooling their heels finally have places to go. China is running short, but there is no world wide oil shortage. It is all market speculation, fear and intentional anti Trump manipulation.

Yep, Venezuela oil is coming on line. But that heavy oil has to go to Texas refineries. But Guyana oil is light sweet oil.

That facility was a military target that funds the IRGC. I am just curious as to why the administration has not made that clear. Besides, the IRGC already broke that so called agreement by hitting one of the refineries of a Gulf State.

If a shortage from the ME continues, Trump will open up the strategic reserves to keep this country running, but I imagine he'd also order an increase in oil exports to cover the loss of shipping thru Strait of Hormuz.
However, Iran's claim over the strait is basically in name only now, so once the shipping and insurance companies calm down, shipping should resume realitvely soon. Continued bombing of Iran's missile and weapons production sites will only reinforce that notion and show the world Iran is just a paper lion at this point.
And if it doesn't, fine. We can take over a lot of the lost oil production already just with our domestic capabilities. We've damn near effectively shored up both American Continents, so increasing production here and in Venezuel/S.America to mitigate the losses should already be coming soon, if not already in the works.
I don't need car too much but I bought 60 gallons in first half of February because I knew shit will hit the fan. It's going to be all time highs for crude oil, maybe not now but in second wave in fall. I suspect it's bigger plan touching this financial system which needs to be replaced..
