I used to work at free pregnancy support clinic. After having a baby, some moms would call to complain that WIC didn't give them enough formula for the baby for the month. But, they also got an increase in SNAP benefits, but did not "want to spend the SNAP on baby formula." SMH

My dear sister died 3 years ago from melanoma tumors in her brain. After she died, my brother-in-law shared a video on his phone of the neurosurgeon discussing her surgery with the family. It was a man dressed as a woman. I still struggle with anger that he permitted a crazy person to perform brain surgery on my sister.
