I had a wild thought.... Part of Oregon wants to join Idaho, which would strengthen Idaho, red, and weaken Oregon, blue. What if parts of other states did the same? Western Virginia joins West Virginia, for example. To hell with the crooked elections in blue dumpster fire cities. We the people have failed to destroy the one party that we definitely can with our votes. Instead, we continue to hold onto misplaced hope that the worse-than-useless "republican" party establishment will somehow fix itself. That misplaced hope has resulted in more losses than we should have endured, missed opportunities for large wins, and some half-assed wins, here and there to keep us complacent. We need a new, better, stronger party.

I had a wild thought.... Part of Oregon wants to join Idaho, which would strengthen Idaho, red, and weaken Oregon, blue. What if parts of other states did the same? Western Virginia joins West Virginia, for example. To hell with the crooked elections in blue dumpster fire cities. Remove the cancerous cities, not by cutting them out, but by simply leaving them, and joining neighboring states that are conservative.
Well the problem there is in 99% of cases, it requires both state legislatures to agree to it and hell would freeze over before the blue states would allow it. The literal SOLE exception (IE the 1%) to this is virginia and west virginia, and that's because there's a century old ruling from the civil war that ANY county from Virginia can hold a referendum to secede from Virginia and join west virginia without the Virginia state government's approval that has been cemented as still valid in modern times by the supreme court. Half the state threatened to do so last time the democrats took power (before youngkin was elected), so I imagine something similar will happen again, and may actually end up occurring if nothing is done about the VERY obvious fraud in a timely manner.
So yeah, don't look for greater idaho any time soon, but West Virginia just may get a whole lot bigger, and Virginia may end up becoming Maryland sized if enough counties vote to secede. Though this might get messy if noncontiguous counties vote different ways, and I really don't know how that would be handled since there's not really a precedent for such a thing
