I was there. Watched them shoot tear gas into a section of the crowd that wasn’t even near where the brunt of the “fighting” was going on. It was insane. They really did try to incite more people into fighting, but so many of us showed restraint. Chose instead to observe and to take note of a historical moment as it was happening.
J6 attendee here as well. FBI showed up at my door due to Google tracking. Kept my attendance at J6 tight to the chest because I suspected some shenanigans.

My wife is a nurse and over the past two years, her position on the vax has gone from "I am going to get it when my job forces me to" (she didn't) to "If this (Damar Hamlin's cardiac arrest) is due to the vax, I hope EVERYTHING gets exposed." I didn't even bring the vax up to her.
