Calling members of the MAGA movement terrorists. Quite something. Should they have gone in? Nope. Were they terrorists? Nope. (And sure, you can spin it as "maybe he was referring to the Antifa members involved", but, taken with the above quotes, doesn't look good. At best, I would say he meant "literally everyone involved are terrorists".)
I liked Ted Cruz a lot. He was one of the few that would actually go after Big Tech. I would still take him over the many RINOs. But, he is no longer near my top pick. He has shown that he'll throw someone like Trump under the bus when it is politically convenient to do so. He just doesn't do it with the frequency & degree as many other "Republicans".

Ted Cruz is a snake, always has been a snake, always will be a snake. He has never done anything that wasn't designed toward the advancement of Ted Cruz.
He's not a stupid snake, though. After being booed off the convention stage in 2016, he figured out real fast that in order to keep his own presidential hopes alive for the long term, he had to make peace with MAGA supporters and pretend to be on Trump's side. Which he did very effectively over four years of empty, red-meat-throwing Senate kabuki.
In the end, though, Trump winning in 2020 was a bar to Ted's own ambitions. It set back his calendar for the highest likelihood of winning the presidency himself by years. So he put up a pretty good front of pretending to fight the election fraud while still accomplishing absolutely nothing, which has been his M.O. for his entire Senate career. (Boy, did Ted own Dorsey and Zuckerberg in those Big Tech hearings that resulted in less than zero action, eh? Didn't he sound just great?!)
It was little risk to Ted to offer to argue the Texas case in front of SCOTUS, or to put forward a half-hearted, suspiciously-convoluted 10-day plan for challenging the electors in Congress when he knew perfectly well what the Court was going to do and what Pence was going to do. Remember how long it took to get him on board with challenging the electors? Don't you think a guy as well-versed in parliamentary tactics as he is, and who believed so strongly in the strength of the Texas case that he was willing to argue it before the Court himself, would have committed to the electoral challenge the day after SCOTUS took a pass on the case?
Theater. Ted's in all of this up to his eyeballs right along with the rest of them. He'll probably have his 2024 PAC up and running by the weekend. It's long past time we stopped falling for his bullshit.

I did not mean that the tweets are fake, but the “screenshot” posted to /pol/ showing the reply box with Teds profile pic (implying this is a screenshot from Cruz’s personal phone, which is why it’s being claimed this post on /pol/ is from him), is not definitive that this post there was from him. I am only saying faking the reply box with his profile pic to stir up controversy is easy to fake.

I like and agree with the sentiment here. I used to say I follow Q because I would check for new posts routinely, just as I would say I follow @POTUS on Twitter. That has literally nothing to do with 4chan though. Ted Cruz made a tweet where he attached a screenshot of his own twitter feed with the insult from Seth Rogan. Everything that comes above that is completely unrelated.

I read some articles early on but his constant emphasis on making sure his constantly changing state of mind and emotional state is known to everyone just oozes 'self importance' to me. Not helpful. Notice, the "tweet your reply" box is contained inside the box underneath Rogen's tweet, that indicates that it is part of the image attachment to Rogen's post, not a reply box to reply to Rogen's tweet. This is because the original exchange, Cruz replying to Rogen's "Fuck you fascist" with the "charming, civil, educated response..." reply is what was screenshot and posted by Cruz (to twitter, not to pol). Someone completely anonymous then screenshot Rogen's response to that and posted it to pol. Maybe that was still Cruz, but there's no way to know.
