Could be a contributing factor. Geological conditions in many parts of Florida are dangerous. Limestone and a long, long history of sinkholes. Large ones. Deep ones. Since the condo is that near the beach, it could well be an undersea cavern cave-in. Would be interesting to see the foundation construction records -- soil testing etc.
Or, if you prefer, maybe someone put a bomb in the undersea cavern and detonated it. Plausible. I'm not even ruling out a well-placed bomb (need to be well placed to cut concrete and steel.) But there is no credible talk of bombing evidence as yet, and is becoming less and less likely the longer time goes by. So the geological cause is currently the more credible theory.

What I’m wondering is this: we always imagine a condo building would be full of residents sleeping at 1:24am, but it’s possible, I guess, that maybe these were vacation condos and not all occupied year round. Like timeshares? Either way, and for whatever reason, it’s a stunning tragedy for anyone involved. My prayers are with those affected.

130am. Look carefully at the top/middle/near bottom window flashes of the part of the building going down in it's footprint. Also, the flashes at the top part of the one on the left. Notice the blackened middle areas on the center 2 piling break points of the part that did not fall. It was ALL meant to go down. The circuit(s) was/were interrupted. The "surveillance" camera was shaking. That was a controlled demolition. It had 130 condos. There would be a minimum of 150 casualties if there was an avg 2 people per condo. But very blue Volusia, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties are notorious for false flags. Just sayin'.
