I like the Aldi prices and the food is good but I got 2 problems
First is that I have gotten sick of their food on more than one occasion...maybe just a coicindence
Second is that they send out statements about food recalls after I have already eaten them months ago. Maybe thats the transparency missing from these other stores but damn Aldi thanks for telling me that hot pocket had plastic in it as well.
My neighbor is a manager at Aldi. He says they are improving on the quality end as they have been expanding. He told me a lot of people believe Aldi is a discount store that sell B-rated food, and they are changing it more and more to A-rated products.
I was about to ask where else I can get a frozen chicken patty that is only chicken and not w/ rib meat but realized all the other brands were just as fucked.
Unless there’s a local or new one I don’t know about.
I just really like chicken patties. Makes a good ass sandwich.
There's a local one - it's in your kitchen, Friend! :) It's a little bit of work but you can take real chicken breast - not Tyson - dip it in scrambled raw egg, and coat it with panko breading - it turns out so crunchy when you fry it! So say you do this on a Sunday, and you make a shitload of it - then you freeze what you don't eat (make sure they cool before you freeze them), and you can always pull one out of the freezer and pop it in the oven or toaster oven to reheat, and you'd have the same basic chicken patty you've always enjoyed, but better because you know what's in it. They do make great sandwiches!
You're very welcome! In fact that's what I'm making for dinner tonight - with chicken tenders from Aldi. I make way more than we need for dinner, and then tomorrow morning it'll become a chicken sandwich for my husband's breakfast. They're so versatile, you can dip them in BBQ or honey mustard sauce, or my favorite - the Polynesian sauce from Chick-Fil-A that I always order too much of so I have it on hand at home! :) I like to reheat them in the oven so you bring back the original crunchiness of when it's freshly fried. And sometimes I chop them up cold and toss them in with a salad for lunch. So many options!
Ooh...thanks for this. I recently started buyng a Hillshire carved chicken pack as a protein option for my son; but will switch to something non-Tyson...plenty of options available.
My parents and I have been buying Hillshire for years. Last trip to the store I discovered a new brand, Lake O Frost and tried their lunch meat. It was pretty good! Will be buying their product now instead of Hillshire. I also have to dump Jimmy Dean products.. we love their sausage rolls and frozen breakfasts.
I’ve not seen that brand in my area. Could be they’re only available in one region of the country. If I see it on the shelves I’ll give it a try though!
Damn I didn't know that! And I didn't realize they mandated the vaxx & expecting truck drivers to be vaxxed also. They are about to loose lots of business. Guess we won't be buying their frozen chicken anymore. Fresh grocery store brand from now on, like we use to.
Right? My daughters boyfriend is a long distance truck driver and they haven’t mentioned anything about this but don’t think they’ve delivered anything to Tyson before, and I told them about this, so they probably never will as neither one got vaxxed, and they’ve both had the virus already. From hearing him talk, I don’t think they do anything really except drop off or pick up loads, exchange paperwork and go. Don’t think he goes into the buildings or has any real close contact with anyone. So what’s the big deal? Just trying to push the vaxx on others. It’s not right!
Smithfield pork is partially or completely owned by China. I sure don’t trust anything China has a part in! There’s a list online of companies China has stock or ownership.
They use American names like “Betty” something the average person would never suspect.
Been boycotting them ever since I found out they had ties to the Clintons.
Damn really? Aww, i really like my hillshire farm lunch meats, they're owned by Tyson.
literally most name brands are corrupt...just pray for protection in this time and age... good luck.
This is why I shop at Aldi.

I just started shopping there and I like it.

Hey I gotta try that. Thanks!
Seriously thank you. Have a good week!

You can just get chicken breasts and bread them with battered egg.
Sprouts
This?
Thank you btw

The Columbus sliced chicken are pretty good. They also have Turkey , smoked and plain

I don't know about their politics but Boar's Head meats are fantastic.
I’ve not seen that brand in my area. Could be they’re only available in one region of the country. If I see it on the shelves I’ll give it a try though!
https://boarshead.com/
Hopefully you can find them near you.
Oh my word that stuff looks good!
you had better learn out to serve up roadkill.... no politics in a fresh kill!
Dude, its time to start micro-farming. Rear your own chickens and vegetables. Fuck them.
they’re chinese-owned
is that not enough

Yeah incoming truck drivers? These major companies are doing the bidding for the government, this isn't out of their own choice.
Everyone knows the virus is bullshit and not worth all of these measures. It was once the fucking EO was signed that suddenly things are tightening.

Yes this
tyson chicken is basically a step up from poison anyway.
Shit food
When I think Tyson chicken, I think saline pumped frankenchicks
Hey now, it's more than just saline.
It has nitrates and sugars in it, peasant!
Came in to say just this. If it says Tyson, it will probably give you colon cancer
For real
Rubbery and full of water. Gross.
Tyson kissing revenue goodbye at their very own doorstep. How messed up is that?
Yes! This ^^^^ we need a list of all the companies to stay clear from. Maybe have it on the right side of the screen or something, under resources.
At this rate, it'll be easier to track based companies than the endless pages of commie companies.
Dr. Bronner’s (organic soap company) paying employees $1,000.00 to get vax.
So long Dr. Bronner.
Be healthy and natural - use organics, also please inject your self with this synthetic if you want to work for us selling organics.
every driver i've ever talked to hates going to tyson. then the plants that have ankle deep chicken sludge all over the place.

Goodbye Tyson!!

There’s that pesky 33 again.
they sure love their numbers
Clearly a ton of people or they wouldn't be as big and available as they are.
This sucks. I've been a big fan ever since he bit Evanders ear off.
His reading of Dr. Suess was pretty good, though, especially “One Fifth, Two Fifth, Red Fifth, Blue Fifth.”
Imagine trying to cancel the people who don't work for you directly from getting your product to your customers
Have been already. Hoping more will stop eating their garbage.
Done
Dammit! This means no Bojangles... they get their chicken from Tyson.
Hope everyone’s meat freezer is full.

The drivers will take their haul to foster farms
Tyson, the turd bird.
I will stick to deer & elk !
I can continue to help them lose as much money as they would like.
The drivers should dump all the raw chicken on the property and let it rot!
I don't want fake chicken anyways
Crap, I just bought chicken strips today.
Has been a shit company for decades...
Tyson is JUNK FOOD. They’re killing us with their Frankenstein billy gates-esque lazy food anyways!
Switched a long time ago have not missed any of them, so - go woke go broke!
controlled demo of the economy.
please protect your family + assets
Wow. They suspended his account.
All righty then! Boycott every company that mandates the jab! We are all literally fighting for our lives!
this is how you create shortages... holy shit edit: you have to remember. a lot of Americans in cities dont know how to cook legit real food.
