A week or so ago, this friend of mine (life long friends) messages me in a rage because he was upset I missed his wedding. When I told him that he was the one who removed my invitation, he got even more upset.
I asked him why he thought I would ignore all my beliefs to attend a wedding in his parents backyard and his response was essentially "FrIENDS".
Here is the hilarious part:
He is 260lbs and considered obese, a smoker and drinks on average 4 times a week plus hard drinking on weekends.
His wife is obese and smokes
His parents are obese with heart and liver problems. Smokers and heavy drinkers
Our mutual friends who are jabbed and went are all heavy smokers and drinkers plus overweight
I am 6'0, weigh 190lbs, work out every day, don't smoke, don't drink and partake in MMA 3 times a week for the past 15 years of my life. My wife is an ex cheer leader who is a gymnast to this day and doesn't smoke, doesn't drink
They found out last night that someone at the wedding of only jabbed was infected and hospitalized with pneumonia and now they are all shitting their pants.

My husband is tall and fit, works out doesn’t smoke or drink, super healthy. They are long time friends, and my husband is man enough (as you are, OP), to laugh and let it roll off them. The fact that we aren’t scared of the virus really irks them.
