This is the kind of weather pattern we get on our planet when sunspots are at a minimum. Less sunspots equals less solar forcing of the polar jetstreams, which means the jetstreams aren't gonna be as straight, but meander more, leading to more chaotic weather patterns.
Studying the JET STREAM has long been an indicator of the weather to come, and to study the jet stream attention must turn to the SUN.
When solar activity is HIGH, the jet stream is tight and stable and follows somewhat of a straight path. But when solar activity is LOW, that meandering band of air flowing 6 miles above our heads becomes weak and wavy, it effectively buckles which diverts frigid Polar air to atypically low latitudes and replaces it with warmer tropical air.
The jet stream reverts from a Zonal Flow to a Meridional Flow and, depending on which side of the jet stream you’re on, you’re either in for a spell of unseasonably cold or hot weather and/or a period of unusually dry or wet conditions......
My dad found something called Emgality which they claim stops the production of an enzyme that doesn't cause migraines but makes an active migraine worse.
How my dad explains it, it sounds like the body's response to deal with the inflammation makes an enzyme that hurts brain pressure more than helps, kind of like how when you're stopped up due to allergies your nose decides it's a good idea to turn off your ability to breathe completely.
Sometimes our bodies are stupid, and apparently this stuff works to stop that enzyme from making a hill into a mountain.
I had a similar poor experience with Emgality. For years, now, I've relied upon a monthly shot of Aimovig (reduces the need for abortives by ~40-50%), and either naratriptan or zolmitriptan. Naratriptan for the slow, sneaky attacks (works longer), and zolmitriptan lozenges when they come on quickly (works fast, but doesn't last as long).
But I've recently discovered two triggers relevant to me, that everyone who suffers from migraine should know. I live twenty miles from the Gulf Coast, and red tide causes powerful migraines especially in patients over the age of 55 -- migraines so bad they don't really respond to medication. Also, I recently discovered I am celiac. I have no gastro symptoms, but there is a whole spectrum of neuro symptoms associated with celiac, including chronic migraine. Also ataxia, vertigo, peripheral neuropathy, and possibly even Parkinson's.
I have migraines with vertigo (for well over 16 yrs now since diagnosed), and recently (this year being diagnosed but symptoms since 1/2020) found out I also now have Meniere’s on top of it. Not fun. My neurologist doesn’t help with my Meniere’s (have an ENT for this) but does for my migraines. He prescribed for me Ajovy injection, similar to Aimovig injections. My husband and I both tried Aimovig but we didn’t like it because we had backed up bowl issues to put it nicely, lol. The Ajovy gives me a welt at injection site but it doesn’t bother me at all, and the medicine seems to help. I take Sumatriptan for break through headaches when needed.
I stopped taking Ajovy months ago because my insurance wouldn’t cover it and the pharmacy was selling it to me at a discount, so I only paid $5 a month for it. When they stopped giving me the discount they jacked up the price to over $700. Yup $700! I said nope not happening! So months later at my neurologists checkup to see how my migraines were, I told him what happened and he found another way to get me the injection for $5 a month. But now because of the vaxx shots, I’ve become weary about taking any injections now. So I’ve been having some headaches since I stopped taking Ajovy, and I have one in my frig I’m worried about taking it.
I have been on the Aimovig $5 program since I started almost three years ago. I have not experienced the "backing up" problem you noted.
I'm about to blast my neurologist with both barrels for failing to diagnose my autoimmune issues. He was pushing me to get Botox, until I discovered (through a Sunshine-law website) that he was paid $40,000 last year in kickbacks from prescribing it.
I would highly recommend getting the celiac DNA test done, especially if your insurance covers labs. It's a simple test. It doesn't definitively diagnose celiac on its own, but it's a start. If your doctor will also write labs for gluten antibodies, that's even better. The confirmation of celiac can only be done with a sample from the small intestine...I don't recommend that. If your labs come back positive, then try a gluten-free diet. It's the only treatment.
I believe when I have migraines it is because I have eaten something that my body or liver can’t tolerate. E.g. sugars, eggs, or milk, etc. My dad used to eat chocolate and I know it triggered his migraines. It is important to hydrate and drinking a lot of water helps.
I only get migraines from eating chocolate if I eat a ton of it. unless you're super sensitive to it you'll probably be find as long as you eat it in moderation.
Yes tomatoes made me sick. Yeast is very dangerous and all GMO and I didn’t even mention MSG because I know additives are bad for you. Thank you for mentioning it.
Sumatriptin (Imitex), as well as its spinoffs, also work at reducing plasma levels of calcitonin gene-related peptide which are raised during a migraine attack. Triptin meds have vasoconstrictive mechanisms that can have effects not only on cranial vasculature, but elsewhere in the body. CGRP receptors are throughout the body and its mechanisms of action are still not thoroughly understood. People with HTN must use with caution and cases of bowel necrosis have been reported. These side effects are more likely to occur with more frequent use rather than occasional usage such as a few times a year. But, if sumatriptan has to be used, say on a weekly basis, then other treatments should be looked into rather than relying on this type of drug. The risk for unintended long term side effects cannot be ignored.
Everything concerning drugs has to be risk/benefit weighed. All drugs come with side effects. I suffer with chronic atypical migraine that I have struggled with since childhood. You name it, and I have probably tried it - everything allopathic and alternative. Nothing has given me any long lasting relief that doesn't break the bank. There are some good alternative therapies out there that worked for me - but I cannot afford them over the long haul. So, I keep my diet in check, reduce EMF exposure, use herbals and essential oils, and do what I can with OTC and a couple of old school prescription pain meds as needed. It seems to me that the only new drugs that are developed are for profit, and in the end come with a price tag and toxicity I am not willing to accept. The triptans were the last new meds formulated for migraine that I tried. It gave me chest pain, so I stopped. I take 5HTP instead of the drug. Every little bit helps. Whatever treatment someone chooses to help with migraine, they need to understand the risks. Sometimes the short term relief comes with a price tag down the road that is not worth the cost of admission.
What worked for me was Advil + Tylenol (Extra strength) at the first signs. That's what worked best until I got this stuff called Cambia, I've heard many drugs end migraines, this was the first where it ended all pain and I could function with a migraine.
I'm glad you found something that works for you! Sumatriptan doesn't work for some people that I know so I'll tell them about this and OP's earlier info 👌
It is a NSAID like the Advil. Long term usage of all NSAIDs is associated with increased risk of heart attacks and strokes. This is a pretty well established link at this point. As long as NSAIDs are not used frequently, a person should not have any problems. NSAIDs worked for me temporarily to knock the headache out, but then I would get rebound from hell. So, I will only use a NSAID when I absolutely have to function and get over the headache at the time knowing I will have to deal with the rebound later. But, you are right. They can knock the headache out at the time.
Oh, I used to take Advil OR Tylenol, whichever was closer and it would help me sleep at the least.
Was later told that the combination is better than either individually, and it did drastically reduce the suffering.
The one I have now is prescription only, but it works to the point where I could work with a migraine if I get it down soon enough (I don't tell my boss because, well, I don't abuse the excuse because karma).
Yes, but all over and especially behind the eyes and in the temples.
Back goes out as well.
You also sleep funny and I can hear a ringing depending on how my head is tilted.
The cherry on top is when the pressure finally drops. I end up feeling "dirty" like I want to take a shower, but I never feel clean. I get that feeling when eating celery too.
It affects everyone in my family differently, but when a storm is set to form almost overnight from out of nowhere and rip the shit out of people in the mid-west to the mid-east, that's when we get these symptoms.
Things are not gonna go well. I think the Kentucky storm that just happened was a pretense for a big wonker coming our way.
I'm usually not as accurate as my dad. If he goes home early today, I'll post and let you guys know shit is about to hit the celestial-sized fan.
I have simliar issues. Not that severe (but do have persistent nausea, headaches, dizziness and trouble concentrating), but i feel it with any rain coming or abnormal weather pattern honestly. Snow is the only thing that doesn't trigger it; snow actually relieves pressure in my body.
I'm in the Northern Sea of Cortez and it's cold here, too. I also am in phoenix (50/50 time spent in both locations), and we are colder than most of the midwest! unbelievable. we had a LOT of chemtrails going on during Christmas week. Even rain on Christmas eve in both locations.
Yup, some fuckery is about. SouthEast has no business being this hot this time of the year. Doubly so when everything north of Ohio and west of Missouri isn't following the pattern.
Mountain ranges normally help to insulate hot air masses, this map puts some little sense into it. Still, we can only speculate as to why the Rust Belt isn't being affected.
Highs in the upper 70's in the SouthEast this time of year do occur occasionally.
But I can't recall it ever lasting this long. Usually only lasts a few days.
Used to mid 50's and low 60's mainly, with some nights getting below freezing, but not usually until january. We are getting "california weather" in carolina (70s in the daytime, 30's at night).
It's going to be a bumpy ride... getting ready for -30F temps this week here in ND. My family in Texas was just bragging about how it was 80 yesterday.
My grandbabies sinuses are acting up I'm fine right now but I've had headaches the last couple of days. People don't realize how much air pressure changes affect us.
Yes, I have Meniere’s and the pressure changes can affect me, but being new to having Meniere’s I’m not sure at what pressure point affects me. I forget to check the weather app on my phone to see what the pressure is when I’m off balance because I don’t think of it, too busy worrying about if I’m about to have a full blown episode or not. Meniere’s sucks! I’ve been having more of what I call “wonky headed” (lol, it’s what I call it because it’s the only way I can describe how my head feels). It’s like I’m not fully into a vertigo stage but my head is off balance.
I live in the south, so it’s no surprise that we are in the 70’s during the day & 60’s at night in December. After this week it’s suppose to cool off again. But our damn grass is growing again. Because we have cold snaps our grass dies & leaves fall off the trees, but it always starts warming up again and it’s like all the greenery is tricked to start growing again, just to get cold and kill it again.
Oh wow until today I had never heard of Meniere's syndrome. I've always been sensitive to pressure changes.
There was a cat 5 tornado that destroyed a town a couple hours from me back in 07 I was awake with the worst migraine of my life. In an old job I had my ears would pop when I went up and downstairs lol. I notice when storm fronts are blowing through and there are lots of pressure changes I have a bad headache and my ears will pop and unpop. I've always been like that and I have very good hearing some slight tinnitus in my right ear but turmeric has helped reduce and the sinus pressure video I linked has also helped.
I have tinnitus in both ears ALL the time! I try not to focus on it or it will drive me insane. When we have heavy gusts of wind it can make my head spin.
Yeah, didn’t know much about Meniere’s until my doc said that’s what she thought I had. The thing is you then have to find a doctor who can actually diagnose you through tests, mri’s, hearing tests & your symptoms, then be able to treat you. After seeing a couple of ENT’s & my neurologist, I finally found an ENT that could diagnose & treat me for it. I was having many episodes (its what I call them, others call them attacks) a month, sometimes like 2 a week. They are horrible to go through, can only imagine how others seeing me go through it feel. For me it lasts over 4 hours.
I had a procedure down where the doc opens up my eardrum and gives me a shot of steroids into my inner ear, not a fun procedure but it helped with the bad episodes. I feel like I may need to get another one in the not so distant future because my head has become more imbalanced lately. Whenever I have another episode is when I have to go back to have it done again. The one I had done was the first time and it’s lasted months so far, the next one could last longer hopefully.
Knock on wood ... I have never had a “drop attack” yet and pray I never do. They say it comes out of nowhere, one minute your standing there and the next you are on the floor, like someone violently pushed them. Some people have had injuries from the fall.
My boy woke up with a headache this morning. Nice to see he's not the only one. Using the warm weather to prune down my raspberry box. Supposed to rain all week.
Yea we had a high of SEVENTY FIVE on Christmas Day in Louisville KY. Yes, that's a record. Before that, of course, the tornadoes that did so much damage here in our state. We lucked out and didn't get hit, but so many here have lost everything.
Here on the Front Range of CO, it is pretty dry, but, the barometer has had some truly dramatic lows like 29.35-55 for extended periods of time. Fire watches up and running with heavy snow in the mountains and only one snow day on the plains in the last 10 months or so.. Wacked out weather fo sho..
Golden Gate Canyon here. We mutual aided to the Miners Candle Fire two weekends ago. Finally got some snow. Have gotten tired of dragging my wildland gear everywhere.
With the dry air we’ve had the saline helps me a lot.
For eyes my eye dr turned me on to lubricant eye drops. One brand is Refresh Tears.
Refreshbrand.com
I haven’t researched side effects but it lasts considerably longer than saline.
The nasal spray is amazing. Just generic grocery brand. Simple Truth from Kroger. If I’m stuffed up with allergies from the Christmas tree, dust, smoke, mag chloride a cpl sprays and a few minutes and I’m clear. Cheap also. Bottom shelf in the allergy stuff aisle.
Same here fren. Husband and I both have nasty head colds...forecast is for some decent snow every couple of days now in our neck of the woods, with 4-7” possible Saturday. Weather change ALWAYS finds me sick. I can’t stand it!
I take Tylenol pm for migraines. Works but ruins my day. Tried OxyContin. Works great but headache ALWAYS comes back and you want to keep taking the oxy so that was no good.
Sometimes it gets away and I need to go to ER and get a shot of toradol.
My dr has them he claims when weather changes he has to load up on magnesium.
Christmas eve was very warm and sunny in the morning here in Mo. Then as the day progressed, they filled the sky with geoengineering. I am sick of being poisoned.🤬 It was warm again on Christmas Day but no or very few streaks across the sky, very sunny. Still warm today, in the 60's. Our coldest weather usually comes in Jan Feb.
Here in NW Oregon we just got smashed with a ridiculous amount of snow. In our valley north of Corvallis it's unusual to get a 4-5 inch snowstorm, We just got 10 (TEN) inches in 24 hours. Also, it's really quite cold. Brrr.
I was wondering if the white hats have control of the HAARP in Alaska now. I heard it was taken out of mothballs a while back.
In California we have started having more normal rain patterns again. We were told to expect a complete drought, which would have led to fires like the last few years.
Somehow it feels more benevolent to have the rain we are getting now. Not like the old NINOS, just heavy showers and then back to sunshine.
I'm loving it!
This is the kind of weather pattern we get on our planet when sunspots are at a minimum. Less sunspots equals less solar forcing of the polar jetstreams, which means the jetstreams aren't gonna be as straight, but meander more, leading to more chaotic weather patterns.
And look how flat the U.S. is. /s
geo-engineering can steer storms and seed clouds, not sure they have the capability of changing the jet stream with it.
Tom Bearden - Weather Modification by Scalar Waves https://youtu.be/Z95XUmYSb1o
Ill let https://electroverse.net/recap-the-changing-jet-stream-and-global-cooling/ explain it:
Studying the JET STREAM has long been an indicator of the weather to come, and to study the jet stream attention must turn to the SUN.
When solar activity is HIGH, the jet stream is tight and stable and follows somewhat of a straight path. But when solar activity is LOW, that meandering band of air flowing 6 miles above our heads becomes weak and wavy, it effectively buckles which diverts frigid Polar air to atypically low latitudes and replaces it with warmer tropical air.

Weirdness. Preceded by planes flying around in the sky.
Just a guess.
Lol "migraine-activated meteorologists"🐸Have you tried Sumatriptan? That's been a life saver for me over the years.
My dad found something called Emgality which they claim stops the production of an enzyme that doesn't cause migraines but makes an active migraine worse.

I'll ask him if he's tried Sumatriptan. Thanks.
Have you all tried potassium and magnesium for migraines?
Yeah, not fast-acting enough.
Excedrin is the only thing that helps mine.
Imitrex and hydrocodone is what my dad takes aside from a monthly emgality injection.
not a doctor, but perhaps daily supplements would address things, vitamins and minerals don't usually act like a quick fix.
I had a similar poor experience with Emgality. For years, now, I've relied upon a monthly shot of Aimovig (reduces the need for abortives by ~40-50%), and either naratriptan or zolmitriptan. Have you looked into upper cervical specific chiropractic? You might get your life back.
Chiropractic reduced my migraines frequency & duration.
wonderful!
Ahh that's interesting, I'll check it out! Lol well said🐸...your nose decides it's a good idea to turn off your ability to breathe completely.
I've gotten serious headaches from dehydration, btw.
Here is the rundown on Emigality just in case anyone is interested. It is a recombinant monoclonal antibody biologic. https://www.drugs.com/monograph/galcanezumab-gnlm.html Besides the cost, there are also some long term side effect concerns related to CGRP Antagonists. https://southernpainsociety.org/cgrp-antagonists-long-term-side-effects/

I’m right where that 42 is in Missouri, we’ve had chemtrails every freaking day for at least a week if not longer |:
I'm in northern Illinois and the chemtrails were the worst I've seen all year in the past two weeks.
They’ve been extremely noticeable lately. It’s sickening.
Yes.

I got a couple OU pullovers and a weighted blanket for Christmas and it's way too warm to use them. Bah!!!
Dude, you and your pops need to go SW Ham, with weather updates.
I feel ya. Our sinuses are so messed up right now!!!!
I wish it were 68 degrees down here but it's more like 83
My boy woke up with a headache this morning. Nice to see he's not the only one. Using the warm weather to prune down my raspberry box. Supposed to rain all week.
I have been feeling off for about a month now its not cold like it's supposed to be its in the 80's still..... should be upper to lower 60's
Yea we had a high of SEVENTY FIVE on Christmas Day in Louisville KY. Yes, that's a record. Before that, of course, the tornadoes that did so much damage here in our state. We lucked out and didn't get hit, but so many here have lost everything.
Southern Indiana and it was 72. We played football outside and had the windows open. Kinda wanted to grill 🤣
Saline nasal spray does wonders. Cheap and effective for clearing the head, make breathing easier and get rid of sinus headaches.
The mag chloride cdot dumps on the roads is hazmat and cancer causing in the msds...causes my allergies to ramp up. The saline spray helps a ton.
Check it out.
Also the weather is a bit unusual but isn’t unprecedented. Looking back in weather history it’s not uncommon for this to be happening.
Snowing here on the oregon coast. Nuts lol.
It's so warm out today. I'm literally outside in shorts and flip flops.

Weather warfare.
See the 16f up in the pacific northwest? That's where I am...supposed to get colder over the next few days. Yes, I still hate winter.
It's ten degrees Fahrenheit here. Bitter cold, but at least it's sunny. I'm in the Northwest.
I am El Nino! That's Spanish for.... The Nino!!!
I wish it was a El Nino pattern. Too cold here in WA State. BRING BACK MY RAIN!
Maybe global warming is real...
