Yes, I'm aware of the dosage, I've taken it before. I am just curious about treatment for gerd. I'm trying to get off prilosec due to gerd but as soon as I stop taking it the heartburn is unbearable. Figured I would give this a try.
If you stop prilosec suddenly you will have rebound acid. You need to stop it gradually. I took about 6 weeks to wean myself off of it. When I was taking it I had head to toe bodyaches all the time, like fibromyalgia. It's because prilosec, and other gerd meds, don't allow your body to absorb nutrients. You'll feel better if you stop taking it.
He would be helped with diet change. Organic, non-processed, whole foods to heal his gut. Check out the GAPS diet, Maker's diet, or something similar. Check out Dr. Axe or Dr. Mercola. His symptoms come from the inside out.
My midwife suggested papaya seeds for heartburn, as I said nothing seems to help mine, including apple cider vinegar. So I looked it up and lo and behold papaya seeds are also anti parasite.
When I took Ivermectin coming down with a cough… A random positive I noticed was my skin looked better (mild acne/redness going away) and had chalked it up to being a lucky week. Later I found out that dermatologists do actually prescribe it for people experiencing skin irritation from the “bugs” that all humans have on their skin.
I assume the “bugs” only cause skin irritations if your microbiome is out of whack to begin with. But I’d be curious if anyone knew more details about this or had a similar experience.
Indeed! Been really paying attention to the local buds in my state and starting to connect the dots on why our government is trying so hard to control the cannabis. Bud quality had absolutely gone in the shitter. Been buying local myself but occasionally try some from the “legal” shops
I bought some cbd flower online from a reputable dealer and the fucking post office flagged it as real marijuana and sent it to the postal inspection office
I'm glad that they wasted their time but I'm pretty pissed off that I wasted my money! Moral of the story, buy local haha
Mountain High Yogurt (vanilla) was recommended by my naturopath. Eat with fresh blueberries and walnuts. Walnuts are a pre-biotic. Blueberries are crazy good for you. Also, get probiotics. Make sure they are in the refrigerated section at your health food store.
I second Georges Aloe Vera juice...tastes like water and makes the tummy feel great. Also doc had me take zinc (heals stomach problems) and Dr. Gundry's Total Restore...lots of natural things in it. Also, if you lack the coating in your stomach, DGL licorice (chew, chew, chew mixing with saliva until your mouth is full then swallow) and Slippery Elm (I buy NOW brand) do amazing things. Oh, and lots of Vit C.
Obligatory not medical advice....but that's what healed me.
I second slippery elm. However, aloe vera juice can cause digestive problems for some people. I used to take it and it would have a combination effect, making some symptoms better, others worse.
I usually mix natural unsweetened with a bit of sweetened vanilla. If I feel I've had enough sugar for the day, I'll just take a heaping tablespoon of unsweetened.
I live in the land of "free" healthcare (🇨🇦) and I can go whenever I want, but I've found 90+% of what they have tried for me made things worse or in rare instances did nothing, so now I only go for getting "free" blood tests that I can pass results to my Naturopathic doctors.
Just wish I could get some in the UK. Having a nightmare trying to get some. Weird world when I can get any controlled substance under the sun but not a dewormer/anti parasitic.
Anyone have any experience taking Ivermectin while breastfeeding? Ive been breastfeeding or pregnant for years now lol… have a new baby now and probably 20 months to go before I am not breastfeeding (lord knows if Ill be pregnant again too) and I wanted to take some dang horse paste. Anyone have a story or experience? Google says not enough research to say its safe for momma use.
As a lactation consultant, most medications are safe while breastfeeding because they come into the breast milk in small amounts. I assume ivermectin, which is taken quite liberally in underdeveloped countries, is taken by lactating mothers. Since I am now retired, I don’t have a reference book with me, but Dr. Hale is a great reference and can tell you the safety of ivermectin. You can also call your local lactation consultant or lactation support group and they will look it up for you. If you don’t have one near you, here is the local out patient lactation center in a Cleveland, Ohio suburb who can answer your question: 1-(440)-995-3830.
See comment above re. safety of most most meds while breastfeeding. 1-(440)-995-3830 is a Cleveland, Ohio suburb lactation center. They can reference Dr. Hale’s Medications and Lactation and check it for you.
Look into L-Glutamine, too. It helps with the mucosal lining of your digestive system. I use the powder from Jarrow. It’s tasteless and dissolves well in water.
Something else to look into that's largely ignored is allergies.
Histamine intolerance awareness helped me.
I've stopped eating leftovers and that alone has spared my stomach a lot of suffering that I used to have, I believe due to histamine buildup.
If you "can eat eggs, but only like so many a week" or "dairy is fine until it's not", I highly suggest researching Histamine buildup.

Thanks for letting us know. Glad you are doing better!
Do you think you will still have to take it every day to keep it from coming back or just the 7 days and no more? Did you also change your diet to see if that helped also? Asking because my father has it really bad and I'd like to see if he will take it. I doubt it because he's one of the brainwashed (eyeroll), but maybe he will think about it if he's desperate enough. I actually feel like my acid issues (not nearly as bad as my fathers) has gotten much better since taking ivermectin once a month, but hard to say it's that alone, as I also changed my diet. Took out eating a lot of bread & dairy. Still eat them just not every day.
I found that using IVM straight on the skin over the stomach. Works within minutes, along with a pinch of salt in a small glass of water, sipped slowly.
Seriously? Topical for what? A stomach ache. My wife seriously has the WORST stomach known to man and woman. Would it help for gastro cramp b.s. she deals with every time she eats.
Cramping can, however, be a sign of food sensitivity, if so, it doesn't go away until that food is avoided. I am not a doctor or nutrtionist, so do your own research, but from personal experience:
Keep a food and stomach playing up diary, so that you can figure it out.
At each step check out progress for at least 6 weeks, one might be lucky and find the magic sweet spot:
First step is to cut out sugars, including fruit juice, milk, beer, wine and soda. This will fix it for many people because all the sugars (sucrose, fructose, maltose & lactose also maltodextrin) are very allergenic. Sore stomach at first, but and can lead to secondary infections such a sinus infections and candida outbreaks. A milk allergy will show up as stomach ache and nausea with later ramifications in kidneys and joints.
Second step is to go after starches. So bread, potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, bananas. Some people do better if they don't eat starches at all, which can feel like they are fermenting instead of digesting. Brown rice and whole grains can be surprisingly sore, so the last one to go will prolly be white rice - that seems ok, but can be constipating if it eaten by itself.
Third step is Legumes. You know the meme about them making farts. Well that is because they are indigestible. Soy is a big dirty offender here.
Fourth step is to stop eating cabbage family, including brussel sprouts - very hard to digest. For some, onions and garlic come at this stage too. At this stage one can safely say that one is sensitive to fibre. After all the lies they have shoved down our throats, about fibre, that one is eye-opening.
Last step means only veg that seems all right are lettuce and maybe avocado and trust me, that gets super boring. Avocado can be iffy though, depending on source and export spray schedules.
What fixed it for me, is to cut out anything that did not come from an animal. So I am a dirty carnivore: I eat eggs, yoghurt and. cheese that is properly aged (not milk. however). My diet is 95% meat. The theory is to not have deal with all the cellulose that scrapes and injures the gut and all natural antifungals and intsecticides that perfectly healthy plants produce to protect themselves.
Occasionally I will eat fruits from the garden: plums, figs, berries etc. In my opinion those parts of the plant are meant to to be eaten, so that seeds can be spread. I recently had a few grapes that cause a belly ache though!
Glutamine is an amino acid that affects the processes of growth and function of cells in the stomach and intestines.
https://www.drugs.com/mtm/glutamine.html (many other sources, of course, but my internet is running like molasses today).
I wonder if she has low potassium. I had an episode of severe stomach cramps that would wake me up in the night, it felt like my stomach was in spasm. Finally, I thought, wonder if my potassium is low. I sweat alot in the warmer months when taking my pup on long walks. Funny enough when I ate a banana every day, it subsided. It's just a thought. Hope she gets better.
My friend used to get severe stomach aches. After many useless trips to doctors, she went vegan and her problems went away. She recently had a good sensitivity test and found out she is severely allergic to beef. Like another person said, elimination diet could be the way to go.
I love how everyone is using our own research to help each other out. "Screw you Big Pharma! We'll search out the truth ourselves, share it, and heal each other."
At this point, what doesn’t it help?
I'd like to see if it cures leftism, since it deals with parasites.
Anti-parasittic, so yeah, will pretty much destroy the mind of a leftist (that's why they fear it so much).
u/#howdareyou
Kek! I'd like to see that too.
LOL
🙋♀️You’re welcome!
Seriously??!! Was it you??!! You're awesome. My tummy and I thank you🤩
So glad I could help! ❤️
I also want to thank you. Same issue. I am 90% better now and getting better every day.
what dosage did you take a for how long?
I took 12mg for 20 days.
Thank You!
Don't just take a random dose. The dosage for ivm is 0.2 mg per kilogram of body weight.
Yes, I'm aware of the dosage, I've taken it before. I am just curious about treatment for gerd. I'm trying to get off prilosec due to gerd but as soon as I stop taking it the heartburn is unbearable. Figured I would give this a try.

Anyone know whether it helps with seb derm? My son struggles with it and other issues that seem to be auto immune.
Thanks! I will pass it along.

I also drink aloe vera juice and it calms acid instantly. It's also very comforting.
I’ll have to try that. I’ve also found that eating about 10-15 large grapes before bed helps. But I don’t always have grapes on hand.
Thanks! I'm going to try this.

I also noticed an improvement in my skin. Great stuff ivermectin.
I had a couple of skin tags “die” and fall off after taking Ivermectin for 2 weeks.

You can also use cannabis, the original and most famous of unjustly banned medicines.

The person who downvoted this post is either sorely uneducated, or a shill.
I reduced my symptoms 80-90% just by eating a bit of yogurt at night.
Double edge sword. Eatonii before sleeping disrupts your hormone ballance. More insulin, less human growth hormone etc.
What kind of yogurt?

Why obligatory? You can't force someone.
because fda fags can sue you for saying "natural and ez things cure anything," while not having a liscense to say so... makes it obligatory.

Way better alternative to the destructive TIF surgery.
Never get the TIF... It's a killer and disabling procedure.
Whatever I can do to stay away from doctors and out of hospitals I'm gonna do
I live in the land of "free" healthcare (🇨🇦) and I can go whenever I want, but I've found 90+% of what they have tried for me made things worse or in rare instances did nothing, so now I only go for getting "free" blood tests that I can pass results to my Naturopathic doctors.
Tif?
TIF surgery is a very risky surgery. It was recommended for me because I have severe ischemic colitis and at the time, an 8cm tear in my stomach. I know of three other people personally including myself who've suffered greatly as a result from the TIF procedure, including one fatality. I developed chronic pancreatitis as a result of the procedure myself and have a far worse quality of life now post operation compared to before.
Just wish I could get some in the UK. Having a nightmare trying to get some. Weird world when I can get any controlled substance under the sun but not a dewormer/anti parasitic.
You can get HD at tractor supply or Amazon.
Not in the UK (or Greece).
https://www.unitedpharmacies-uk.md/
I've used this company, three shipments of medication, no prescription and delivered without molestation.
Want me to mail you some from the States?
Do you have a friend in the US who could ship you some?
Have you checked the farm supply stores?
Terrain theory states that IVM does in fact treat everything
It helped me, too.
Wait until they find out it eliminates ED.... LOL!!

How are you purchasing your IVM? I seems to be expensive in the US
I got some from Mexico, but it has gotten expensive there too
I have bad gerd, it didn’t do anything for me though.
Try lugols iodine. It wo t take it away completely but it's one component to managing. I use 1 drop in my drinking water.

I'm going to see if baking soda and molasses works for my Mom. She has cancer and GERD. I read the suggestion from another forum member.
