Oh sweetie, it’s cute that you seem to think like the lefties do that the problem is simply the /other/ peoples party.
Clearly you’re new here or haven’t been paying attention if you think this is all “the democrats” fault. Inb4 “well it’s MOSTLY their fault” or some other dumb shit.
Inb4 some dumb shit tie in to revelations to try and support that it’s all the democrats
Lmao sad that sooooo many of you visiting a site called “great awakening” but still are half asleep.
Me too! I’ve read it multiple times and each time something about it hits me more deeply than the previous reading. I first read it when I was very young and thought “I don’t fully understand but I have a strong sense that this is a really important book.” It all became perfectly clear through the years.
It because when John Bonham died, so did rock and roll.
1980....music went downhill and fake non instrument playing grifters jumped in...aping musicianship.
When the unlistenable fake stuff came in and was stamped out in assembly line style by the Suits and ties at labels, they required worker bees below them who can't tell the difference.
"...And an old raver." explains it all. If one note or phrase repeated for an hour is the height of creative music, well enjoy your drugs. An hour of Jack Hammer banging can be interesting if you're messed up enough. But it ain't music by any measure.
Bring me men to match my mountains;
Bring me men to match my plains, —
Men with empires in their purpose,
And new eras in their brains.
Bring me men to match my prairies,
Men to match my inland seas,
Men whose thought shall pave a highway
Up to ampler destinies;
Pioneers to clear Thought’s marshlands,
And to cleanse old Error’s fen;
Bring me men to match my mountains —
Bring me men!
Bring me men to match my forests,
Strong to fight the storm and blast,
Branching toward the skyey future,
Rooted in the fertile past.
Bring me men to match my valleys,
Tolerant of sun and snow,
Men within whose fruitful purpose
Time’s consummate blooms shall grow.
Men to tame the tigerish instincts
Of the lair and cave and den,
Cleanse the dragon slime of Nature —
Bring me men!
Bring me men to match my rivers,
Continent cleavers, flowing free,
Drawn by the eternal madness
To be mingled with the sea;
Men of oceanic impulse,
Men whose moral currents sweep
Toward the wide-infolding ocean
Of an undiscovered deep;
Men who feel the strong pulsation
Of the Central Sea, and then
Time their currents to its earth throb —
Bring me men!
Recognized that quote immediately. C.S. Lewis “The Abolition of Man” was a prophetic book. Amazing that Lewis was able to see what was coming in the 1940s. His space trilogy is along the same lines in the form of fiction. His portrayal of scientists in those books is especially relevant to our times.
Our present pronoun chaos started with Femininnies nagging weak men into using "he or she" instead of the traditional default pronoun for indeterminate gender, which was "he." Ayn Rand even used that and made fun of "he or she," which she only put into a Statist document.
Compromising emasculatees found that "he or she" was too clumsy. Instead of standing up to the penis-envy piranhas, the weaklings were shamed into using the plural "they" instead, even though its antecedent is in the singular. At least they could have put that in the plural, e.g., changing the intentionally brain-damaging "If a lawyer does this, they get that" to "If lawyers do this, they get that."
In fact, media girlymen are obviously required to go out of their way to put all antecedents in the singular, so they can further dumb the public down by pairing them with "they." Everybody who uses this grammatical monstrosity, and almost everybody does in these weakling times, is under the spell of these screeching, castrating banshees.
This proves that women are not our mental equals, because they'd rather use a complete contradiction of number than a possibly indeterminate gender (not so, "he" originally only meant "this person"). This is real-life Orwellian "NewSpeak," unlike that in "1984," which is too stupid ("doubleplus ungood") to ever be accepted, even in our contemporary Age of the Sheep, which fake manliness thinks is the Age of the Ram.

I read this with a California inflection after every ending syllable for maximum condescension.
Conservatives have plenty of traitors, but Democrats are major league fagots for sure.
I don't think that was what they were implying.
That said, it bears repeating here. It's not RvD. It's freedom v tyranny.
And yeah I agree. Pubs are just as fuckin guilty.
You got all that out of me quoting a Star Trek character? Clairvoyant?
... We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.
One of my favorite books, The Abolition of Man.

But what about "Men Without Hats"?
The Safety Vax
We can vax if we want to, We can leave your friends behind, 'Cause your friends don't Vax, And if they don't Vax, Well, they're no friends of mine.
We can go when we want to, You are masked and so am I, And we can dress real neat, Masked head to our feet, And surprise 'em with the victory REEEE
Yes I changed the words, but if you think I jest:

Occasionally I hear a good song, and it's like a shining gem in the cesspool known as the music industry. Truly rare anymore.
Mew
It's asinine to suggest that music requires instruments?
I can't really answer that. I can only shake my head and wonder.
I wouldn't necessarily tag it to Bonzo or any other single artist.
And virtual instruments didn't actually kill music.
But it certainly stomped all the life out of it.
I'm a musician.
And one who clearly has no ear.
When the unlistenable fake stuff came in and was stamped out in assembly line style by the Suits and ties at labels, they required worker bees below them who can't tell the difference.

Weird Al made a song by using his empty accordion case as drums.
Instruments?
"Empty accordion case."
Yes an instrument.
A great musician can get great music out of a rock.
But no algorithm can.
Oh, I thought you were talking about Moog synthesizers and such.
Lol
Soooo cringy. No wonder they turned the comments off.
I like the writing. It is amazing people used to speak this way.
It's how I speak in the sweet spot: 1.5 beers
Check out the “Mere Christianity” doodles on YouTube. That they were originally broadcast in England as the Blitz was raging stirs my heart.
Who said that? Sounds a lot like the TRUTH!
Thank you!
C.S. Lewis the pedo.
If you believe that you might as well believe Trump is a raciest and a rapist while you’re at it.
Those are fighting words, punk.
What in the actual dumb fuck?
I doubt it.

Marvel at the cast of villainous DC comics in the virtual world we inhabit.
Left out the Bushes, among many others.
Except Shazam. That one was great.
The rope awaits and I do think in the end they will all get it.
Totally was thinking about CS Lewis and this chapter a couple weeks ago!
The Abolition of Man is an amazing read. Don't like nonfiction? Read The Space Trilogy instead.
Ghosts and goblins.
These aren’t the only ones.

What about us men that are smaller than average?
buff up
My heart pounds after drying from a shower. There's no "buffing up" for me.
Over 60 I see I can relate LMAO
No, I'm a dangerously out of shape 36 year old male.
Many health issues are parasite problems. Ivermectin up.
Where's Romney?
I get they’re bad guys but I don’t understand the tern “men without chests”. Can you explain please?

I can't find this article anywhere.
