Here are a bunch of red pills about the formula industry, as well as some good homemade whole-food DIY recipes if mama’s milk is not available: https://www.westonaprice.org/?s=Formula
Thank you for the link, my son drank soy formula and my husband asked our pediatrician about soy causing breasts in boys. He was blown off like it was nonsense, fast forward to puberty and our son has them. Thankfully he has always been athletic but he developed slower than his friends. I can’t imagine if he continued with ingesting soy products. He has been taking Thorne Multi-Vitamin Elite A.M. and P.M., hoping they can help with any damage the soy caused.
Did you know that plastic can disrupt your endocrine system and testosterone by a factor of 10 compared to soy? Eliminate plastic food containers, plastic cooking utensils, plastic cups, anything in the food process especially if it involves warm food+plastic. A multivitamin and no soy is great but if you’re still taking in plastic endocrine disrupters your stopping a leak the size of your pinky while the floodgate is still open.
That’s just as retarded as hormone blockers, fixing your diet, filtering your water and removing plastics from anything that touches your food or beverages will raise your testosterone so high youll think you hit puberty again. Giving kids pharmaceutical dependency instead of good healthy living advice is ridiculous.
Unfortunately, it isn't that simple. The male body has a certain testosterone threshold, and everyone's different. Supplemental testosterone can cause the body to say "Well that's enough testosterone" and stop making its own. You also run the risk of the testosterone aromatizing into estradiol, which can then turn into estrogen, which puts the kid back into the same problem.
You say this forgetting that THEY have been screwing with our food, medical, and beauty products for YEARS. There is a lot more women who CANT than you think and then there are infants who can not as well. In the end, the baby being FED is best when it comes down to it.
Yeah, but again, most of society is fucking lazy as hell. Most women that don’t breastfeed is because they really don’t want the commitment. You are referring to such a tiny percentage it’s almost patronizingly defensive.
Yeah, there's definitely a learning curve, and also getting to know your babies wants and needs. I took to it pretty easily, but instruction was very helpful.
A mom should try to breast feed her baby for at the very least a year. There are times when it isn't possible, then other options are there instead of formula first.
Removing a cancerous foreign body can itself be a fatal operation.
Same with the net....won't it have to be taken down to re-do?
Wasn't this done with G5 transformers? IF not, it will have to be done and interruptions made. 10 days - Darkness?
Something DoeS have to be done to re-take these industries without killing the economy.
Yes, they say that goat's milk is closest to human breast milk, making it easier to digest. Our daughter was on formula for only a few days until my wife's milk came in (and hit her like a truck). At the time I knew formula was laden with soy, but I did not know of any alternatives.
Child of the 50s..raised on this formula. My mom tried to breast feed me and I was crying all the time. A family friend and a mother herself, said "that baby is hungry". She sent my dad to the store with this list. She made the formula
I sucked it down and I slept for 4 hours.
When my last child was born in the 80s my husband had just started his own business and money was tight. Our pediatrician gave me this exact recipe and he thrived on it.
I fail to understand the reasoning for putting corn syrup in baby formula. This has to just be because it was the early 60s and back then people believed that shit was somehow good for you. Please do not feed your baby corn syrup lol.
Because they didn't know any better and were trying to discourage the "modern" woman from breast feeding. When that took off, then they knew they had a market for baby formula.
I know a farmer who grew non gmo oats for General Mills.
He had to grow the oats on a field where another small grain wasn't planted on it the year before or it would be counted as gmo.
The reason they use gmo crops is it makes them pest and disease resistant. I guess I would take a hybrid crop over something sprayed down with pesticides.
GMO isn't always the big meany everyone thinks it is. Sometimes it really is that simple.
Unfortunately, GMO corn is that bad and that is what Karo syrup is made from. It is modified to have a gene that codes for a pesticide type compound that the plant produces. It is great for fending off pests - but not good when people and animals eat the corn. Then there is the whole glyphosate issue. Giving anything like that to infants is really going to mess them up gut wise. That will lead to a whole lifetime of issues.
I absolutely agree. Organic is the only way to go - and even that one has to be careful. Just because something is organic does not mean it belongs in infant formula.
The waiter at a restaurant asks Benny Hill for his order. Benny sees a woman breast-feeding her baby at the table across the aisle and says,
"I'll have what he's having".
Me, I breastfed until my feet touched the ground, so i'm a liberal.
This is why I love Patriots so much. Fuck their poison formula, we can make our own and this is probably a very good thing. Thanks so very much for posting this.
I was brought up on pet evaporated milk (boomer). I think it’s much more healthy than the stuff today. Still like it in my cereal but it’s pretty caloric.
Dont even really need that these days (and babies dont need karo syrup)
Head to local farm store and pick up goat milk; for a 25# bag that you mix with water will cost less than $40-50 and last a good while. Also have prebiotic powder and/or colostrum you can purchase, too, to add in for even more additional benefits.
We get organic formula (Hipp) from Germany. It’s here in 2-3 days, not any more than formula here, and no supply problems so far. We looked to other countries when we realized U.S. formulas are trash, banned everywhere else.
Be wary of shit from this era, this was the beginning of the big food industry. I've seen ads advoting mother's give their infants 7up instead of milk. Just plain sick
idk why but this bit is hilarious to me. gotta tend to your little baby plant lol
i know
"I know"
kek
Protip: Dont give a baby water. All they need is milk.
now moms are told that babies don't need water.
If babies needed plain water, women would have a third breast that dispensed plain water.
Seriously, how were babies supposed to drink plain water before bottles and artificial nipples were invented?
Babies drinking formula can get constipated much easier than a breastfed baby - hence the water
It’s the iron.. baby formula contains a lot of iron.. iron constipates…
Yes!
It also depends on where you live.
In hot humid areas kids can get dehydrated.
Bottle fed baby poo is so nasty.
Regular baby poo isn’t like a dream either lmao
Can concur. Breastfed my babies, and let's just say the consistency of their poop was kind of off-putting.
When a woman is breast-feeding she provides water in the milk. Yes water is essentials for all life.
What's with the tea though? Never gave my babies tea. Maybe they would have liked it.
I don’t know but yea actually really good for you. There’s a lot of Minnesota purposes you can use tea for. Especially herbal teas.
Glad to see I wasn't the only one who had a laugh at that. Water, sunlight, and gentle talking makes a happy baby plant.

There are doctors who will prescribe hormone replacement therapy. A tiny extra bit of testosterone might help with the damage.

Ohhh, soy milk….so that’s why my nephew has vestigial extra nipples…
And soap! Shower gels and body washes aee full of chemicals that are metabolozed as xenoestrogens. Use real soap.
Soy is estrogenic; what an idiot doctor! I’m sorry your son is going through that, I hope it can be reversed at some point.
Formula is inferior and unnecessary. Natural breast milk will help your baby thrive.
Very very few can't. With proper training (nursing is not as easy as "have baby put on boob") the vast majority can do it.
You say this forgetting that THEY have been screwing with our food, medical, and beauty products for YEARS. There is a lot more women who CANT than you think and then there are infants who can not as well. In the end, the baby being FED is best when it comes down to it.
This is a legitimate point!
Yeah, but again, most of society is fucking lazy as hell. Most women that don’t breastfeed is because they really don’t want the commitment. You are referring to such a tiny percentage it’s almost patronizingly defensive.

my wife struggled to get going but kept trying until she got it, with some help fro. specialists. Very proud of her for her perseverence.
Broke Tit Mountains.
Lol

Unless it's bioweaponized.
If jabbed, don't breastfeed.
Yes just give your babies. All of them plz I love them. 😁
true!
Q: If baby formula were tainted, would an interruption be needed to correct?
Parallel plotlines are confusing.
Removing a cancerous foreign body can itself be a fatal operation.

I wish I knew the answer to your question..
Honestly, goats milk is an amazing sub if breast milk is not possible
Yes, they say that goat's milk is closest to human breast milk, making it easier to digest. Our daughter was on formula for only a few days until my wife's milk came in (and hit her like a truck). At the time I knew formula was laden with soy, but I did not know of any alternatives.
I believe it puts you in tune with the nature around you as well! Pollens, poison oak/ivy etc, building immunities naturally
Came in to say this. Goat milk is amazing. Good for pregnant mama's too.
Child of the 50s..raised on this formula. My mom tried to breast feed me and I was crying all the time. A family friend and a mother herself, said "that baby is hungry". She sent my dad to the store with this list. She made the formula I sucked it down and I slept for 4 hours.

The problem with this formula now is that the Karo syrup is made from GMO corn guaranteed to screw up an infant's gut and God knows what else.
I fail to understand the reasoning for putting corn syrup in baby formula. This has to just be because it was the early 60s and back then people believed that shit was somehow good for you. Please do not feed your baby corn syrup lol.

Man that’s so sad. I hate modernity so much.
It is now, but not when that recipe was hatched. However, I think the extra water is a good idea because of the extra sugar.

Ok thank you for the information I will have to do some checking into it thank you.
You are most welcome fren.

don't give newborns water
This is what my mother gave me, born in 56. I still can remember the taste
Thanks, paid shills
Most high fructose corn syrups have mercury
When I had my daughter, my Mom gave me the hospital card from when I was born. I didn't have a name yet, but they were feeding me evaporated milk.
I lived.
I was brought up on pet evaporated milk (boomer). I think it’s much more healthy than the stuff today. Still like it in my cereal but it’s pretty caloric.
Forgive me but what is pet evaporated milk? Is it evaporated milk for cats and dogs or is Pet a brand?
It’s a brand …
Got by for years without the quack formula
I hope it is disappearing because it has been slowly making newborns stupid/retarded/autistic.
I heard most baby formula and baby food have metals and toxins, probably a blessing in disguise that it's not on shelves right now.
The best medicine and nutrition of all- breast milk! But nice post to help those that have no access to it!
I feed my baby straight blackstrap molasses. It makes their digestion strong and they only poo once a week.
Mmm karo syrup formula. Too bad goats milk isn't readily available in most store
Just shared this post with a struggling father today at Walmart. They were trying to buy food near me for a struggling family member in AZ.
Seeing a grown man cry with gratitude was worth every time I have been looked at as anything less than an austere conspiracy researcher.
Thanks for the share u/BQnita
I was certain you were going to say "breast feeding" heh

You can buy baby formula on Amazon right now. I checked

Yeah the karo and “water twice a day” recommendations were red flags for me. Both are a huge no no.
Lactating moms can make some mulah selling real titty milk
Where. Lol
