Simultaneous attacks with no warning can proceed from submarine-launched missiles. There is no basis for thinking such weapons would be anything but nuclear, so concern for chemical, biological, and radiological effects would be frivolous. Somebody is preparing a theatrical performance, probably for the benefit of the mainstream media and also to prepare the public for more lockdown decrees in order to interfere with the coming election.

They are used for leveling and supporting floors basicly just two pieces of pipe with screw insert on one end. Probably 50 or 60 dollers. If you use your basement as a shelter you want more support.
If your upper floors collapse you don't want all the debris in the basement. It's a cheep easy way to reinforce the floor.
