My business has improved. My attitude has improved. (I still get pissed at faggots but I get over it much faster) My chronic back pain is 100% gone. And, I'm told I look younger.
It's not just what's going on in politics that makes America Great. One happy healthy patriot at a time. Trump never says "I will MAGA." He says, "Together, WE will MAGA." That can mean many things. Yes, get involved at local levels and support GAW. But also, be your best in every way you can.
And, if you're struggling with alcohol, get help today. I promise you, your life will be better in a very short time. MUCH BETTER. Make health your goal. Be a shining light for your family. That's what ALPHAS do. LFG
GOD BLESS
Holy shit, this is me! I've lost 40 lbs, today is day 142 sober. Proud of you, frog! LET'S GOOOOO
Congrats! Proud of you fren.
How did you do it? I'm drinking right now. I don't feel dependent on it, but feel "bored" when I'm not drinking a beer.
What was it that got you through it?
Well, first, you walk the wasteland of all your devastated relationships for a while. Then, LATER... hahah. Kidding. The secret is doing sudden, crazy things to distract you, I suppose. Society is AWESOME. I went to Egypt (that's where I've been modding from for the past 9 months). I went to all the sites, immersed myself in history, figuring that in a Muslim country I couldn't drink. Wrong. It's easy to get. So I went to the Sinai and did around 70 dives there. Finally quit drinking (after hitting bottom a few times).
One thing that helped me was metformin. It's a pill, an extract from the lilac flower. Reducing my dependence on the glucose produced by my liver was a godsend, at least for me.
Now I've lost all this weight, I'm back in Canada, and I'm doing "anything else" rather than drink. I'm going on a motorcycle trip to BC here tomorrow to see an old friend (who also "stole" my camper). I'm exercising and going to AA. You'd think AA would be a punishment but it's GLORIOUS. It really helps you not drink. The power of finding other people with similar problems...
Pls definitely watch Craig Ferguson's monologue about quitting. It's hilarious.

Best of luck to you, frog. Why not join? Do sober 30 days, post your thoughts, and let's sticky it. Let's get some discussion going about our own personal Great Awakenings!
I started making Kombucha with some wine yeast added in...its a healthy beer-ish taste (or any flavour depending on what you add) about 6% and stupidly cheap to make. Its helped wind down runaway alcohol consumption for me.
I stopped drinking 15+ years ago. I've lost 40 lbs in about a year an a half. For me, no food with added sugar at all, no foods with added oil. This means almost no processed foods at all. Sugar and oil make up about 30-40% of the average diet.
Stay away from the center aisles of the grocery store.
I went vegan for during the year, but that's not a requirement to lose the weight, but eat lean meats because the fats have the calories.
If you add some daily brisk walking for 10-20 minutes that helps as well.
Thanks for this, but how did you stop drinking initially?
I just went cold turkey. I missed having my nightly beers for about 3-4 weeks, but that was it.
Ok. I can deal with that. Thanks
One piece of advice, if you normally crack a beer at say 7PM and watch the news, change your routine and it reprograms your brain. For instance you could take a walk for 20-30 minutes, or do laps in the pool, or help clean the house, etc. Changing the routine is vital.
Cold Turkey for me too.
Nice job! Keep it up, fren.
Congratulations!! Sounds like a very positive direction to go in. I hate alcohol, drugs and smoking...have dealt with it all in my lifetime with others. No matter how bad reality gets, I would rather face it sober with a clear mind! I would probably be called a control freak but I have less regrets when I am in control (of myself). God has been very gracious to help me overcome other things I have struggled with.
I still have an occasional beer or three on the weekends.....but two and a half years ago I picked up Brazillian Jiu Jitsu as a hobby and a year and a half ago I quit hard liquor and quit drinking alcohol daily. I can see my dick...w00t!!!
My dad always said seeing or not seeing that, was the difference.
Kek
Jiu Jitsu helped my life in so many ways as well fren. Glad to hear it and keep training!
Moderation is always key.
Gluttony is easy, especially for those depressed... or poor, forced to eat cheap, high carb/processed "foods" which are are also addictive (and feed Candida).
Gut health is vital to healthy mind/living (yeah we know) yet so many struggle with nearly half of Americans considered overweight if not obese?
I believe part of the "Plan" will eventually address this issue, which I also believe is directly related to Big Pharm/Agriculture all in the name of $ and, of course, human extermination [see: Guidestones, Georgia].
Because of my health issues I am unable to do Jiu Jitsu, but my husband, son and daughter in-law (and her little kids) do Jiu Jitsu, have been for many years. It’s addicting isn’t it? Do you watch videos to learn new stuff and watch mma fights too?
Yeah, I was a fan of MMA before. I do watch videos as a supplement to training, generally on stuff that has happened in rolling (sparring) or to get more detail on some technique I am trying to master. It really is a great hobby to get off the couch and have fun while getting fit.
Well done, fren. I just made it to 30 days alcohol free
Congrats to you also fren.
Gets better every month!
I wasn't a heavy drinker but about 4 months ago I stopped. Gotta be ready for whatever comes at me.
Awesome! This is the way.
Well said and well done!
2 weeks sober and about to attend church this week for the first time in decades. Congrats dc, and all my brothers and sisters here
F yeah, I'm considering same.
As the wife of a former user, I pray you have the support and kindness and understanding as you go through this journey. The same goes for everyone posting in this thread.
I'm proud of everyone in here for taking the selfless step to be sober.
<3
Nice to hear that I am not the only one... Was shocked to find that I was inspired to make many changes as a result of President Trump's influence. For which I will be forever grateful... Came from the NeverT position but was won over in Feb2020 an looked at the list of actual accomplishments. Then I found YOU guys... which became MY People.. Little cigaweed now and then, but thats is it... Lets just say I used to live an extremely Liberal Lifestyle (Minus all the anal play they/them are fixated on) Was brainwashed by TV/movies... Am pissed. Can't focus on work due to the coup d'etat and now realize I have been sabatoged from within my own camp that just so happen to be Leftonites.. Any Based Securities Fraud attorneys out there? Love all you Patriots. No homo.
Keep it up! Working on 4 years, message me if you ever need an ear
Experience, strength and hope are always awesome. Wtg to you! I needed to hear all this. Thank ya'll!
True fren
Very happy for you, fren =) Good vibes and strength to you! I've been off of meth and black tar heroin for almost 2 months, I know the struggle.
No easy feat! Proud of you.
Thank you <3
When Jesus said faith as a mustard seed was enough to move mountains, he was talking about you. It is easier to move mountains than to quit alcohol. You are amazing.
Congratulations to all the winners that posted.
We have many challenges ahead. We need to have a clear mind and the best health possible as we face them.
Congrats, and give all glory to God.
Congratulations! It takes tremendous fortitude to overcome life's addictions. The physical energy that comes with losing weight can be channeled in some sort of exercise. Enjoy your new life!
45, 34, 2...
4+5+3+4+2= 18... Q+
🤷🏻
Congratulations!
Just a few days over 18 months here. I grew up with a why me attitude, once I got some instruction on how to look at things differently I don't see myself as a victim and have no desire to drink. "The attitude of gratitude"
For me a 90 day group therapy did wonders without doing AA. I'm sure it's helpful for some but I'm not religious so the higher power thing didn't work for me.
A great book to read is The Four Agreements, its a little funky but had great insights.
Good luck, there's so many benefits to not drinking that there's too many to list, though being able to use the self checkout at the grocery store is somewhere at the top of the list. 😉
You can't self check it you have alcohol in CA
I gave up drinking over 15 years ago.
I use delta 8, occasionally smoke weed, and drink daily, but I also take my vitamins, ride bike, and exercise daily. I do it all in moderation and am the healthiest I've ever been.
body have low uptake of c-vit when one drinks
Congratulations OP!
Myself?
I'm 10 days caffeine free (again).
Tried quiting back in March, relapsed over the summer, realized I detest the drug, and that it is having many detrimental effects on my health, and have vowed to kick the addiction for good this time!
Anyone who says that caffeine addiction goes away in 10 days is clueless. I've been researching the subject, and it can take months for the serotonin, melatonin, adrenaline, cortisol, blood pressure, insulin, gut health, and nutrient absorption to stabilize after taking away the caffeine stimulation.
I'm determined to make it a year this time. Already my skin is looking better, and feeling way more hydrated.
If any other Anons are struggling with caffeine addiction, message me! I've got lots of research I can share on the subject.
I love my coffee but if you've got some resources, send them my way, please.
Best advice I can give for starters is to read the book Caffeine Blues.
Congratulations!! So awesome!! I haven't bothered to drink alcohol since 2018. Didn't drink often ,but when I did it was until I passed out. I could never have just 1 and 10 wasn't enough. Then I would be hung over for a full week.
I have good news for you friend, the beer weight stays off when you don't go back to drinking. 6 years for me and had a similar experience. Dropped all my extra weight almost immediately and kept it off with no effort.
Trump has a 34 inch waist? WOW!
Jesu Criste, a 34" waist? I haven't had a waist size that small since I was in the Navy, lol. Well, I'll just park my fat 44" waist here in my chair and watch Trump destroy the fuck out of them.
Add in some Zeolite supplement of a quality brand of yoir choice at bed time that shit will pickup the crud out of your body like a magnet. Speed up the detox process
Scroll to the Part 5 Conclusions
TLDR; it binds to anything toxic, heavy metals etc, may reverse alzheimers and other behavioral or gut issues, which often are related
Congrats to all of you!
When things go down in this country, and the world, we need to face it with clear heads and fit bodies. The drugged up, coked up, over-fed, overweight, porn addicted addled brains of the left won't be able to keep up. They'll fall, along with the rest of their corrupt ideologies.
I'm a huge fan of methylene blue as a nootropic. Do your research before trying it, and be sure it's medical grade crystalline powder. Mix 1g with 100ml distilled water, I take 5 drops twice daily in milk.
Memory retention + recall. Lessened or totally diminished social anxiety, depression, and invasive thoughts. Sleep enhancer. It has done wonders for conversation anxiety.
Congratulations on your sobriety, it is one day at a time.If you wake up, you know the Lord has given you the day, you get on your knees and ask him to help you stay away from that drink for the day, ask him all day long, find another traveler along the way, at the end of the day thank him for Life, and for keeping you sober. Wash, rinse, repeat. We are his church, we don't need a mega-million temple, we are the temple, treat it as such. If you are not into the spiritual, thats cool too. Think about the most precious thing in your life, would you cover it with empty bottles and cans and grease from the trap in a fry joint. Probably not. You can start any time.
Congrats to all who have changed their life for the better. Wishing all continued success.
Good for all of patriots here. Nice job. Congrats 😃
I stopped drinking and smoking back in the Seventies, but getting my weight down is like pulling teeth for me. No, I don't use sugar and my oil consumption is microscopic.
My own metabolism to one side, I have noticed that DJT is lighter these days. I hope he's getting in shape for his return to Washington
This is the way.
