I'm gonna assume you are in one of the big blue counties, or an adjacent one like Williamson. I lived in the Austin/Round Rock area for years and left because of that. When I moved back I settled in East Texas. We don't have those issues here yet. Housing prices are still reasonable, food prices are still lower than CenTex, and I got gas yesterday for $2.81 a gallon.
We don't have an HEB though, unless I go to Carthage or Corsicana, or the Houston area. I do that when I need to.

How does a Texas sheriff have any ability or authority to investigate Florida?
Because he is making the claim that the immigrants came across the border in his territory. So he is implying that an individual or group of individuals coerced some illegals from his town on a plane and shipped them, without his consent. So basically he's upset that he got skipped on his cut of the trafficking this time. And he's making his claim, that those are HIS Illegals!! And he cares about his illegals.
