Just like the military has their plans, which include Trump, and which have planning and set-up aspects before they can make obvious moves.
The reason why you shouldn't make statements of fact like this is that you'll look really foolish and arrogant if you're wrong -- and while looking foolish and arrogant is not always a problem, acting like you know better than everyone else just ends up leaving a sour taste in people's mouths.

It's not wrong that he thinks it's fake news, it's the stance that anyone who doesn't necessarily see it that way is wrong when no one even knows what's right or wrong anymore because all we can do is sit and watch.
