People, some even on our side (not here really), think he is a narcissist.
He has an ego, but ONLY for his personal accomplishments. He NEVER highlights, brags, or even mentions, his numerous and generous acts of charity. From jumping out of his limo to save a women from being mugged, to paying off the mortgage of a widowed farmer, to flying sick children across the country on Trump Force One... how many acts of kindness do we not even know about?
In fact, the left is so triggered by his generosity, they've weaponized all the search engines on this very topic. Search for his good deeds, and you'll get bombarded with gas lighting articles trying to debunk them or false accusations on how he's really just a greedy thief.
If you want a role model on how to show pride for your accomplishments, but not be a douche, then may I present:

I have often argued that narcissism can benefit all if it's directed properly, because it's a part of drive
Michael Jordan wanted to be the best. He was an asshole to some.
They won because his"narcissism" carried them all.
If Trump wanted to be remembered as the best president in history, well, that's self serving if it's a shallow wish, but also take into consideration to be considered the greatest president of all time by anyone other than himself would mean he did great things for the people .
Narcissism often is a result of horrendous trauma. A need to self-protect.
Was raised by one.
I'll say, looking at his kids and how there is no outliers of fucked up children... I highly doubt he has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
A strong personality, sure. But most of what I hear, especially those who worked for him, is that he's a great human being. Not perfect, because that is Jesus, but not a demon like Hillary. He woke up millions to the corruption. Narcissist or not, he will be known as the tipping point President who woke up the masses. This basically saved humanity.
Everyone has a bit of narcissism, perhaps not clinical.
The drive to succeed usually requires a certain amount of selfishness too.
I unfortunately share the pain of narcissist parents.
Awful circumstances to be raised in. I have a friend with parents like that - the things they say to him horrify me. Praying that God will grant you the spiritual wisdom to deal with the manipulation narcissists can put out. Anyone who knows a true narcissist, as you do, will also know that DJT is most definitely NOT a narcissist.
Does your friend still speak with their sperm donor and birth giver?
Sadly, yes. But that's also narcissists for you - they know exactly how to manipulate their marks. Their victims have got to get smarter to know how to get away from them.
I'm so torn with moving away.
The woketards might consider Douglas MacArthur and George S.Patton to be “narcissists “, but we’d be in some real pretty shit without them.
So many acts of kindness...this is the real DJT.
He's a Lion of a man...push him and he'll push back harder. Yet, kind enough to let a homeless woman stay in one of his hotel rooms and send her fresh flowers every day.
For those who think he's narcissistic, i would answer no, that's Showmanship. In his realm you must be larger than life. He has the Confidence of a successful man who grew an Empire. Much of this I attribute to the Sun Tzu school of performance art. DJT acts narcissistic and ego driven so everyone underestimates him. He's Shrewd.
They walk into his trap. Everytime.
Yesterday in his interview with RSBN he was asked, "If you could play a round of golf with anyone living or dead who would it be?" POTUS answered immediately, "My Father."
Completely agree with everything you've written. For a fascinating and in-depth look into what makes the greatest president ever tick, I seriously recommend reading The Art of the Deal. Probably most here have already read it, but for anyone that hasn't, get a-hold of a copy!
I was looking at Tik Tok the other night and there is a video of him at some kind of food place. The lady at the other side of the counter asked him if he would pray with her. He reached across the counter, grabbed her hand and they prayed. LOVE THAT MAN!!
He's studied the science of persuasion and influence and uses it to get into a position to help others. No behavior is "good" or "bad", everything must be judged based on the specific situation where it occurs.
In the 1990's Trump got a flat tire somewhere in NYC (Queens?). A good samaritan (a black dude) who was walking by noticed Trump was in a nice suit and asked if he needed help. Trump obliged and after he was done, Trump asked how can he repay him. The man said it would be nice if he can send his wife some flowers. When the flowers arrived at his home, he found a note that basically said Thank you for your help. By the way, your mortgage has been paid off.....
Trump has done so many good deeds for so many random people that I'm sure it exceeds what most of us have done in a lifetime. Although Trump can 'act' conceded and arrogant...he's a very compassionate and humble man.
The version I know was a guy in a beat up car stopped to change the tyre in pouring rain. Maybe that happened more than once.
I'm sure this story has evolved and precise details have changed ....but I'm quite certain the gist of the story (Trump surprised someone by paying off his mortgage) hasn't changed at all.
it didn't happen at all.

Snopes may or may not be correct about this, but on the whole, snopes is a terrible source, and it's a stretch to call them fact checkers at all.
Snopes!? Really!? Might as well quote the NYT ... I don't mean to insult but have you been doing this long?
I have no idea if the story is true or not. But I do know Snopes doesn't know jack shit.
snopes is not a credible source of information because they are massively biased.

Snopes! LOL!
Some would say, look at that, Trump wouldn’t even change his own tire or he didn’t know how to change a tire. But my guess is that man walked by shortly after the car stopped, and offered an act of kindness. Trump was appreciative and the fact that the man didn’t ask for anything for himself, but something small for his wife, impressed Trump. Trump was in the position to help the man in return and he did so without hesitation.
Come on
God Bless My President - Donald J. Trump!
Reminder, he never took a paycheck. Imagine being shit on by the MSM for four years straight and never getting recognized for your work or dedication. Assholes. I will always remember.

This is not just how he sees one person. This is how he sees all of us. I bet he'd even be quick to forgive his haters of they saw the truth and apologized.
Unfortunately his haters wont turn. They are THAT programmed.
He loves us.
Worst racist on the planet, President Donald Trump can't even get that right.
Worst dictator ever, too.
Really disappointed that Donald Trump didn't kill all of the people who said they were going to be killed by him, this nation would have been so much better off if he did.
I love President Trump!
He paid for all those limousines lined up too!
I believe he has done this type of human kindness in the past and will keep doing it in the future. The Trump derangement people will never see this side of him--because they are blinded by the rage and hate.

There was also a time when his limmo got a puncture and a guy in a beat up old car changed the tyre in the pouring rain. He would not accept payment so DJT pair off his mortgage.

There was a time I felt that people would recognize the sacrifices he (and the whole family) has made to see this whole plan through.
But now I no longer feel that day is coming. And honestly, he's probably far more okay with that me. Even those at the very fulcrum point of this movement haven't even scratched at the surface of his contributions.
The risks and the commitment he has shown, I have never before seen on a world stage.
Lord I hope so.
Long before he was president, his limo broke down. A couple stopped to help. A few days later they got a call telling them that their mortgage had been paid off by none other than Donald John Trump.
He is supremely generous.
Trump knows that he does not need to publish what he does as acts of kindness, sympathy. He feels blessed and shares his good fortune with others. Giving is caring. Kind acts are returned ten fold. The Lord knowing what he has done is all that counts.

Big deal... go to Canada and tell them you feel a cold coming on and they'll offer to euthanize you for free!
Liz Crokin put Trump into perspective for me.
She did much of the same in a video.
Heck, even the "ladies" on The View liked him!
I believe he also gave her VAIDS
