I live in Canada and it has not been warm or dry since spring started. There is no way the forests are dried out it is just not possible.
I live on Manitoulin Island in the Sudbury district and 10 fires broke out in Sudbury district of which 7 are burning out of control.
From what I see it is burning crops and animals likely done on purpose to make sure we have a food shortage here.
Even though I am a good hour and a half away from the nearest fire I still had to close all my windows last night because of the smoke.
I notice the fires started when this apparent wind storm we have started which is perfect to make sure they spread as far as possible.

Right now there are over 400 fires burning and more than half of them are out of control.
US firefighters have come in to help the Canadian fire fighters get this mess under control.
