Like minded people? I'm still looking for them. So far I've only found them online here at GAW.
Maybe we should all go outside at the same time.
I would certainly like to meet some of you in person. I regret going to church on Sundays because most all the church members are all asleep normies. A based church would be fantastic.
I went to church this past Sunday for the first time in my life, I have never been to church on a sunday, haha, I grew up going to church on saturdays. But I got chills a couple times. It was a wonderful service and a wonderful sermon.
My wife's preacher refused to marry us until I went to his church on Sunday and gave him the opportunity to study with us. When she boldly asked him about my observation of the Sabbath instead of SUNday, he admitted that Saturday was the Sabbath of Creation. She switched her membership and I've only been back to his Sunday worship for funerals after that.
Nice, maybe keep going if you like it. Ive been 6 straight weeks, after not attending a service for the past 18 years. People have been warming up to me and introducing themselves the longer Im there. I'm alot younger than most members, but I know I can learn a lot from them.
A couple people have taken me out to lunch after church. One family has me come over to help with yardwork, feeds me, pays me way more than Im worth, and sends me home with all the leftovers.
I avoid ALL religion and religious gatherings. But I also avoid ALL sport and sporting competitions. I guess I'm just allergic to brainwashing.
I don't blame you. Some of these people treat Q like a religion. Like he's a prophet whose teachings can be unlocked with numerology. Im sure you noticed that. Always good to think for yourself, and do what works for you.
Find a Calvary Christian church; Iโm sure there are many in central CA and those are usually more based. I do not regret finding one near where I live.
Come to Orthodoxy, especially Russian orthodoxy. We are all based. Come to Jordanville in upstate NY. We know what is happening. We are not "Pro-Russian", except in our reverence for Russian Orthodoxy. We are not blind to the evils in the world, but we have 2000 years of unbroken Christianity within our souls.
Yes plz thnx lol
Region you live? I'm in Western WA. I feel your pain! I do have some in my family and at work who are awake, but still feel somewhat alone.
Central California. You guessed it; I'm in the thick of it.
I'm surprised by how many like us are actually around me.
Everyone is at different stages of waking up, but when you let them talk and agree with them you can see the excitement in them that they have someone to talk to about this crazy world we share.
I spent the week taking care of my niece , she lives at the lake. Wow! So relaxing. Woke up early, had coffee on the porch and watched the water, listened to birds and even heard owls that early! Amazing! Much needed break. I did lurk though. Lol
Right? Let's not get TOO extreme, frog. LOL ๐ธ๐ธ
Lol. No sir, won't get too extreme. Regrouped hopefully. ๐
Lockdown = isolation = confinement & repetition = high risk of irreparable damage to hippocampus = memory loss, anxiety & depression and reduced cognitive function.
God created us for work, community, and rest. A vacation is in order! Take one! ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐๐น๐๏ธ ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ชต๐ฅ๐๏ธ๐
I wish I could sticky comments.
That would be cool!
During the "lockdown" I actually socialized the most in my life, met a lot of new people, discovered a lot think way more freely than I would have thought. People are just shy and tend to be unstinting of strangers but once you get past the initial contact most are actually pretty OK. Some are still assholes or NPCs... you can't change those but you shouldn't let a few idiots stop you from meeting great people.
What do you mean?
Unstinting: adjective
given or giving without restraint.
Example: he was unstinting in his praise.
Maybe you mean "wary of strangers"?
FFS... meant to write untrusting... phone must have 'autocorrected' ๐
I do all that but swim in lakes and I'm not about to start now! I don't like to swim with other live things. Except people in a pool maybe
Lol. Sorry. Heading to the lake tomorrow, Iโll be thinking about you oddly enough. The fish ainโt gonna bite ya.
In Texas it would be the water moccasin.
..or a great big snapper.
Any lakes have some crazy brain eating bacteria. It would be my luck...
Here it would be the dreaded brown cucumber. Yep, no sewage treatment here!
It ain't the fish I'm worried about!
I hate murky water. fish nibbling on toes, nipples or other things thAt stick out is no good. Florida and South Carolina add another element of surprise.
That's why I'd NEVER be even close to a body of water there. Driving over the bridges in Lousiana gives me anxiety. I can only imagine my car going down in that serpent soup
Interesting. Serious question, and not a criticism, but what do you not like about swimming in lakes?
Bacteria, squishy mud you sink into with glass from teenagers drinking hidden all over and you cant see the bottom even in 2 to 3 feet because they are almost all murky, bacteria and contamination because no tides or flows, leaches, snapping turtles. Havent done it since i was a kid. Thats my own phobias though. To be fair i dont do the ocean either so that leaves a pool when i can find one. The ymca is boycotted....
Leeches as well.
Fuck those Satanic mother fucking whore bitches!
Ugh, I can't stand going into water so murky I can't see what I'm stepping on or what's swimming around me.
I was spoiled going to the Caribbean each summer when I was a kid. Crystal clear water. ๐๐
get some water shoes and live it up!
Haha never
I started being vague lately because some people (IRL) think it's really funny to prank me. They don't understand that I know it's irrational but I can't help it. It's the S word. People that don't understand say, "Oh that's just a garden one, it's not poisonous." Neither is a purse, bag, belt, or shoe but if you put any of those in my hands I'd probably have a non-jab-related coronary event. At a cub scout event years ago I was teaching my part of the meeting and learned that the wrangler we scheduled for the boys had stowed her bins of friends behind me in a corner the whole time. I don't remember how I got out of that room and down the stairs into the parking lot but I damn near needed a 5150 hold after that.
Not OP, but for me, a lot of older developments on lakes around where I live have sewage systems that go right into the lakes. ๐คฎ
Thereโs a vaccine for that...
Kidding...
Though we drank heavily at the lakes when weโre were younger.
Tomorrow I'm going to go to the farmer's market ๐
Iโm doing my part by swimming with turtles. We have a few frogs on her property as well, saw them last night!
okay moana!
Lol! ๐โค๏ธ
I recently renewed my membership to the fitness center - they have indoor and outdoor pools - I have numerous orthopedic issues so swimming is perfect for me. I am enjoying it greatly and yes, I talk to people whether I know them or not lol
I got a bed with 10 squishmallows, a beautiful wife, and hot genmaicha tea..
I'll leave more outdoors for the rest of you :) staying cozy the way I know how
I had to ask my 8 yr old niece what a squishmallow was. Lol . Luckily she had one! I busted out laughing. So comfy Fren! She wouldn't let me have it! ๐คฃ
Oh my you need your own

Go Dawgs ;)
Oh, I didn't even know that existed! Yes, yes I do! Thank you! Woof, Go Dawgs!
Like this.
"Upsie-daisy, soldier. You can rest when the mission's over."
Rest is for quitters.
You know, I hear you, and as a minor mod around this place, there really is more to do for Great Awakening then just click the links and read the articles for me, but even I can't do this every moment of every day. I'm starting to go outside and plan more quality time doing other things. Plus, somehow, I sort of have lucked into suddenly having a family now. I'm sitting here waiting at the airport for them to arrive to visit me. Life is weird. Especially when you let God take the wheel.
Minor mod? All this time I thought you were the top guy.
Yeah, the heck?
Thank you for the well-worded reminder!
Other than the mountains and maybe the sound of birds that picture is 180 degrees from the statement. Is this some kinda comms? /s
...maybe, just ,maybe there are some like minded people socializing.
it's shocking at first, but in the end, completely valid. We shall shake the stigmas on our right to guns that have been baked into the zeitgiest for decades.
lol, the picture looks like they're prepping for a Red Dawn scenario and the statement sounds like a picnic. They don't match up.
maybe they're just pals on a mountain and don't want to be identified by satellites :p
Okay, I can definitely relate to that.
One of these is not like the others.
Currently camping. o7
For the past 2 years I've been going out every Sunday exploring alone with just my fuji camera. Ultimate escape, I love driving, and have a fast car. The freedom of exploring without a destination in mind, just going where the wind blows, highly recommend friends. Nothing better then discovering a new place, interacting with locals, absorbing the new surrounds. My favourite escape from this constant battle we face everyday. Especially us on GAW who are truly awake and deal with the extra frustration
Sweet. What car? I have a BMW M and it's fun, but I'm not much of a sports fanatic. I like luxury.
Sorry for the late reply I completely missed this somehow! Coincidentally enough, I have a BMW e92 that I've built to stage 2+, love this car to death. Which M do you have?
I'll be in out packing up the homestead and getting ready to sell & leave NY to greener pastures:)
I have to watch Ferrari somehow screw up the 24hrs of Le Mans, though.
Spent some time outside yesterday, not doing any yardwork but just sitting in a chair, watching the clouds. The air smelled fantastic. Very cottage-y.
