With the recent post, in attempting to address the multiple (well nigh dozens of) red flags that TPV provides, I found myself tracking down all sorts of things. Much fodder for further investigation and analysis.
I've not yet seen anyone out there in alt media do a serious review, analysis and discussion of Newspunch, but that doesn't mean its not out there. If anyone did it, it would likely be Sather. Either way, there is oodles of material there for a substantial investigation, discussion and illumination.
I'm hesitant to engage with that, because it would be a major project, but given the inroads TPV has made (indicated by the frequency with which they are post here even by otherwise circumspect anons, and also by the pruning of their approach to tap more into factual content and modify their approach to offer a seemingly more authentic veneer), that might become an unavoidable necessity.

I know a portion of the mod team are hip to how bad Real Raw News is, not to mention NewsPunch, but I reluctantly have to give the newspunch operation cred because their revising their image and modifying their style has led to a situation where now some folks actually consider posting Newspunch content as legit SIMPLY because they do include some information that is actually factual.
To my mind, however, playing with Newspuynch is like playing with fire. It like being willing to smoke good weed even though its laced with a toxic pesticide.
