Everything you see on TV MSM is scripted and rehearsed beforehand. Nothing happens by accident, with the exception of talking heads passing our or dying from the covid shots. The fact that they allowed this to happen at all speaks volumes. Maybe people ARE NOT ready to eat ze bugs.
I once worked for a small startup and we were launching a new product and they got someone from the press to interview me about it. Naive me thought she was legit interviewing me. She just told me to write some ad copy and she'd check it for grammar. All news is simply advertising
In a 2019 study, researchers analyzed insect samples from 300 household insect farms and pet stores in Central Europe, including 75 cricket farms (Trusted Source).
The study found parasites in more than 81% of the insect farms. In 30% of those cases, the researchers found parasites that could potentially cause disease in humans (Trusted Source).
Ah yes, today they want to sell us only the finest, choice "crickets," all grass fed, non-GMO, 100% natural, and with no artificial flavors, or colors added.
But tomorrow, those "premium choice crickets" will be too expensive to feed to those lowly peasants. When that happens they will sell us the cheaper, and easier to mass produce bugs- cockroaches. Mountains of cockroaches bread in stadium sized garbage, and sewer dumps, and FDA approved as safe and effective for human consumption. That's where this whole "eat ze bugs" nonsense is headed. You heard it here first.
Most harvested grains that are organic do have some creepy crawly parts in them, there is an "acceptable" amount that the FDA tolerates. As a main course? Nope, although it is said that John the Baptist survived on locusts and wild honey, so, it was not unheard of. I will still eat organic foods, less afraid of a few beetle legs than I am of chemical foods. I am not sure why there is a fear here, in civilized countries. Aboriginals in parts of Africa have eaten grubs. There are protein powders made of ants and crickets, I saw the site with my own eyes. Is there fear that a plan is in place to" fortify" our foods with it? I would not worry too much. Anybody who knows how to jerk the system and write a grant can come up with all kinds of nonsense, such as "insects provide edible protein". The bastard down the road actually got a grant to prove that chickens can survive on compost". He got a few thousand. I guess I am too stupid, I feed scraps to my hens but no one paid me a dime to tell them the girls are just fine. I am sure I snuffed up a few gnats in my lifetime. My son tells me that when I eat shrimp or lobster, I am eating ocean insects. I am not defending this, don't get me wrong, but why is this a thing to worry about? I have enough to worry about.
“Research indicates that one in five Americans have tried crickets and more than half of adults can be persuaded to consume them in their diet, a trend that continues to increase as more consumers seek healthier and environmentally superior proteins,” the company’s website says.
Wow. This has to be a contender for the most delusional statement of all time. Or the biggest gaslighting event. They are trying to tell me that 70 million Americans have eaten a cricket and that 175 million are open to the idea of crickets as food.
Unpopular opinion here: Even Leviticus says that crickets, grasshoppers, and locusts are clean foods. I don't want to be told I have to eat them, but I don't think they're going to hurt anybody.
Granted, the world was different back then. Not as many chemicals in the soil, micro plastics, and made made diseases and parasites. Bill Gates modifying mosquitoes and the Pentagon creating Lyme's disease in ticks is an example. Not saying those are edible bugs just saying how bugs have changed.
I've eaten fried insects as a common beer snack when I lived in SE Asia during the 80s. I don't think they're dangerous but we shouldn't be forced to eat them.
You may eat those that have legs with joints above their feet so they can jump. 22 These are the insects you may eat: all kinds of locusts, winged locusts, crickets, and grasshoppers. 23 But all other insects that have wings and walk on four feet you are to hate. 24 Those insects will make you unclean, and anyone who touches the dead body of one of these insects will become unclean until evening. 25 Anyone who picks up one of these dead insects must wash his clothes and be unclean until evening.
Mensurating women were also treated as unclean and weren't allowed to touch another human or their belongings while they were "unclean" or it would make others "unclean" and were practically banished during that time. Pretty sure no one today makes their wife pitch a tent in the backyard for a week each month. And no one today wants to eat bugs.
Or just recognize the difference between the laws of man, and the laws of God. “the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17).
God gave us common sense, use it to eat foods that encourage good health and avoid foods that encourage disease. The food supply is tainted today, the farm lands are depleted of minerals and saturated with toxins, nothing like it was in the ancient world. You can't use ancient world doctrine to safely navigate the food supply today. If you want to raise your own clean grasshoppers, go for it, but the ones they serve you will be heavily processed with tons of additives and full of chiton.

I don't, that reaction looked pretty genuine. The fact that she was trying to smile through it speaks volumes as well...

Yea.. this is a "Limited Hangout." CJ Hopkins covers this idea pretty well.
Hope she enjoys the diseases she just added to her body

Ugh, those nasty worms...they will make her start drinking from the toilet in a few weeks.
...when morning shows become Fear Factor, you know their ratings are in the gutter...
Chalk this up as a big L for the climate change cultists.
Climate cuntists
Just take the L
It's a major aspect of her profession and role that she learns to push through that gag reflex.
Pithy and well written.
Shallow bow with slight flourish.

Hope this is the only thing WHs are serving them in Gitmo.
This !
Release them in their cells and make them catch them and eat them alive.
Eat ze bugz.
Enjoy your bonus horsehair worms.
I still don't understand crickets. They're adorable, harmless, and sing pretty songs to get laid. Why would you make them food?
anytime😁
The Lord doesn't want you eating bugs.
They know this...the bugs are a big F-You to God's people.

Stupid is as Stupid Vomits
Made my day... there's another t-shirt image for you!!!
Great!
Now let’s see all these celebrities to post their own videos with the standard comment: “I’m gracious…”.
3, 2, 1, …
I can't believe these people are stupid enough to eat bugs.
This would be unheard of years ago.
Unpopular opinion here: Even Leviticus says that crickets, grasshoppers, and locusts are clean foods. I don't want to be told I have to eat them, but I don't think they're going to hurt anybody.
False. The human body cannot digest chiton and large amounts of it cause cancer.
Then there are the parasites that grasshoppers and particularly crickets carry.
Thats why frogs are revered in ancient cultures, they eat locusts so we dont have to.
Frog legs are pretty tasty.
Agreed.

Chitin or chiton? I think there is a difference between them.
The correct spelling is chitin. Chiton is a nonexistent word. Probably just a typo by Prometheus.
Chiton is a type of mollusc. Didn't even want to search before pronouncing something as not being a word?
He didn't misspell; he chose the wrong word.
Chilton car manual hehe

eehhhhh....
Lol! I guess I was right on when I said it was unpopular. You people are too much!
John the Baptist comes to mind.

Dang we should tell Q the Bible isn't real so they can stop asking for prayers and relying on God 😔

Not for us.
Crickers and insect protein will be a game changer for third world countries
What separates developed countries from third world ones is height, physical strength, and IQs...
All of these things are connected to protein consumption
Third world people are shorter, weaker, and dumber because their protein consumption is massively lower than ours
These alternative proteins will equalize things
