I've noticed a mood change from people in the last little while, the stupid, petty stuff doesn't seem as important now.
And I had a normie actually tell me, this afternoon, on how disgusted they are with the open border...they said to me 'we're next if we don't do something now.' This is coming from a 'proud' biden voter.
I just hope it doesn't take an attack here on American soil to wake people up. Because we definitely have enemy pouring into this country right now. It's an invasion. The only difference is? We're [government] not stopping them. The FB timeline is quiet on my end...and typically people are posting left and right about all kinds of stuff. It's quiet....almost as if people are holding their breath or waiting for something.
I don't know, maybe it's just me..... Has anyone else noticed a change?
In my neck of the woods, things are difficult financially, more people are homeschooling, there’s a huge baptism revival at my church, gas & groceries are crazy expensive but people are waking up. My small group leader even mentioned in causal convo that she found out that satanists do sacrifices with children. I told her I’ve known about that for over a decade. My church is getting bigger by the minute. Our Lord is a God of Revival.
the movie is working. people are gradually awakening from their deep sleep. just be gentle with your red pills
so slamming home a giant red suppository with a jackhammer is not subtle enough?
I'ma dress up circa Victorian times, wear a hat at a jaunty angle and chip the red pills in with a croquet mallet.
It will be very civilized.
Capitol idea good man.
Paul Pelosi enjoys a hammer slam
At least lube it up a little... don't go in cold and dry. They'll make dolphin noises...eh eh ...eh eh
I will carefully grease my red pills with fresh ambergris (whale vomit) and ensure an approach velocity that is sub orbital.
Please ensure seats are in the upright position.
Corruption is always obvious. More and more people are confronted with worse choices for themselves to fend for their families. It's a good time to be charitable.
People around here seem angrier, less friendly, and more impatient. I avoid being in public as much as possible. The increasing pressure of inflation, paying bills, and trying to afford groceries is about to make the average Joe crack.
I cuss Joe Biden every time I fill my gas tank and buy groceries.
My 9-yr old is always running her comedy routine, which is focused on blaming Biden for everything, including the food-dye in icing sprinkles. Haha. She cracks me up. I should videotape it and save it for a safer day to post it.
Yes.
Ah you live in a Democrat shithole too? Yes people here are unhinged.
Sorry to say that the one Biden supporter (I can't call him a normie) in my family is still drinking the MSDNC Kool-Aid for breakfast, lunch and dinner...and he's diabetic, but that's a libtard for you. No wonder his sugar monitor's always going off - he's a big pharma, big data, big government, triple-vaxxed dream. Outside the family, there does seem to be a shift.
Still have looong time friends who watch and believe everything MSM (Maddow) says. Trump is a criminal!!!! Sigh…. Other than that they’re great people.
Some people never really left high school. They actually liked the semi-authoritarian environment, because, they always imagined they could get away with "their thing" anyways or they enjoy the bully pulpit it afforded them.
Yep. Virtue Signaling. That's what they do. They are the same insufferable Progressives from the early 1900's that sniffed and looked down their noses at everyone, all the while shoving their marxist-based ideologies down our throats.
I have 2 in laws exactly like that.
I’ve noticed in my area the past couple weeks. People don’t smile as much. More prone to anger. More jumpy and looking around. And just overall a more serious demeanor.
Local School for instance, after a couple years of parents begging out of the blue announced Security upgrades and that they were hiring Armed Security for each building. And that they explicitly mentioned Security would be equipped with Automatic Weapons and were ex-Military. That is on top of School Resource Officers already present at every school.
Where before the school mostly ignored parents security concerns and people generally had more the kind of concerns of a middle-upper middle class town. Teenagers concerned about celebrity and school gossip. Or this game or that game. Adults griping about prices and inflation. Road construction. Getting kids to various events. And trivial local issues.
I live in a very populated area and I have noticed that people are becoming angrier in their driving.
I've noticed drivers getting worse for a couple years now, since the shots and boosters have been going into arms more frequently.
Its crazy! They run red lights, and CURSE ME OUT!!! I had a guy lose his shit when i passed him- he going 10-15mph in a 25- i pass and carry on- he tailgates screaming out the window- the pc of shit had a baby momma and 2 kids in the car- Hubs had a guy cut him off, then get out and threaten to kill my hubs, with 2 littles in the car- Seattle suburbs (things like this are weekly occurrences)
That scary! Yes, we see the anger in the driving because that is how we actually see how a lot of other people behave. I switched my driving route to work. I now drive the more local streets than highways.
In my neck of the woods it’s complete apathy and there is nothing you could say or do to shock them.
My woods has no neck :(
Being out today, I noticed... people are buying decor for Christmas while the Halloween stuff is mostly sitting cold on the shelf.. candy and all.
I feel like it might be they want the light, hope and warmth of Christmas. In rough times in the past, Christmas becomes precious again.
Definitely a sense of anger in Chicago. The city has been ruined and the citizens are pissed all of them.
That saddens me so much. I grew up in the SW suburbs, and to think going back to a city I loved is no longer feasible, not even for a visit.
The mood has shifted considerably since the outbreak of fighting between Israel and Hamas.
Happenings in that part of the world seem to always grab people’s attention and put them on edge.
I was in the US two weeks ago for first time in about four years. I found service in restaurants noticeably different. The staff seemed on edge, unsmiling, brought my stuff and spieled out the compulsory "how is everything" but that's where it stopped. Thought I just got unlucky in first one but several others were same.
Oh the service industry definitely took a hit. "Back in my day" it was all about quality, service, and cleanliness. That's all out the window. They don't give AF if your order is correct or not. They don't give AF if they greet you or not. They're like ... robots? There's just something missing there. Like they're empty shells. Maybe life is just beating them down super hard. Maybe they are all basement-dwellers in their parents' homes because it's literally impossible to leave the nest affordably. Their outlook on life must be bleak. If I was young and looking into the future of where the world is heading, I would be sullen all the time.
I get really pissed every time I get a wrong order, which sadly I'd estimate is at least 80% of the time (one restaurant in particular gets my order wrong 100% of the time, it's uncanny). And this is in a smallish-town. Maybe larger towns don't have this problem because there are more workers waiting to fill the empty slot of a fired employee.
Anyway, long rant. TLDR: you are correct.
The thing I've noticed in restaurants is the lack of cleanliness. Furthermore, the prices are higher and the food tastes nothing more than being taken off those Sysco trucks and heated up in the microwave.
This. Every take out order has been wrong for the past year. Employees don't give a crap
Nope- Seattle here- it's a shit show at average Restaurants, better at higher end ones- but people are not skilled in eye contact or giving a shit about anything-
I’m still fighting the “Trump and his supporters are dumb and in a cult” fog of war.
Me, too. I always tell them the cult is the group who believes everything they are told by the media instead of questioning it long enough to look up documents, court cases, bills, UN/WHO treaties, Pfizer's trial documents, etc, and think for themselves.
I say, "You can always choose to believe the media AFTER you read objective documents on the topic. There is nothing to be lost by looking at objective documents first."
They say, "Your sources are based on conspiracies."
Wow. What immature thinking!!! Really? The WHO treaty that our president signed about response to pandemics is not a real source?
I sense either fear or unease.
Yeah. Get out of big cities,
Interesting!
I observed the same phenomenon in The Netherlands. People generally are on edge, have difficulty coping with probing questions, and shut down the moment things do not work as they are supposed to. Short fuses. It seems appealing to thought and analysis is a tall order.
I also notice the lack of knowledge with a lot of staff. It seems like what George Carlin called: people smart enough to operate the machines, is actually happening. Many are not even capable to calculate the difference between a 10 Euro bill and the tab of 7,91. Stumbling mumbling fools.
Yeah, well, have your gun ready. And lots of ammo.
Hell even people here in Princeton are going "Great my taxes are gonna go up because of this war between Israel and Palestine! I don't want this! "
Good.
There will be attacks on American soil... The Military is the only way...
