More proof that electric vehicles, wind turbines and solar panels are all UNRELIABLE when it comes to saving your life from the elements and very costly to build and operate.
IMO ---- the globalist are just rigging the system so the locals can't compete ---- and you have to buy their globalist solution --- of which they have a monopoly.
...... even if it is a shit solution ----- which it is.
One of my friends recently went to a charging station that was broken. She went on to the next station, but her car ran out of charge before she made it. She called a tow truck to tow her to the charging station that she'd been trying to get to. The car wouldn't charge. She called Tesla, who said that once you get to zero on charge, the only way to recharge it is with a manufacturer reset. So she had to tow it to the Tesla dealer for a reset.
I’m sorry, but I love to see this, and I feel bad that I do. This means people were stuck in the cold, and that sucks. But seriously… Do people have to get to this extreme to finally wake up and figure out that the decisions that are making for their lives are the greatest ones?
Yup! For days probably. Those fires are very difficult to put out. I live in an area with a fairly high population of people from India. I don't know why, but it seems Indian guys are in love with Teslas. Not the women, just the men.
We have an off-grid place with 5 Kw of solar power. The electrical system is great, when there's sun. In the wintertime? Yes, when there's sun, and the panels are not covered in snow. With prolonged lack of sun, then the batteries will run low, then the generator has to be powered up, or we just shut down the electricity.
You know, you won't die with no electricity. The wood stove doesn't need electricity, and the fridge runs on just a trickle of propane.
For the record, I hate oil. I hate that our government and foreign governments have so much control over supply, demand and pricing. Hope no one takes my “electric won’t work” as being pro-oil.
To your point, I think we are on the verge of these technologies. Supposedly, Toyota is already far down the line of producing a hydrogen car. Most people criticized them for not falling for the electric scheme, we’ll see how things play out.
I also "hate oil" in the sense that I'm convinced the powers behind oil deliberately suppressed the knowledge of other technologies. Technologies that would benefit the common man and not the "elites". BTW I make my living from the oil industry. But I want a better future for my children & grandchildren. I'll find something else to do - like retire - I'm 71 years old!
I'm leaning towards all electric, but a small battery pack that has a charger that works off the Earth's magnetic field. Never pay for recharging-Ever.
Election Integrity first, then cool stuff happens!!
This elect was a dumb idea to begin with. AND OUR HUGE PROBLEM IS OUR GRID. IT WILL GET WORSE! UNTIL WE BRING ACCOUNTABILITY BACK TO GOVT.
SO IT STARTS BY CLEARLY DECIDING WHOM YOU WILL VOTE FOR AND WHY
We are on the downside of the current cycle of Milankovitch galactic oscillation. Our solar system will enter a region of denser dust affecting how much solar radiation the planet receives.
We are already overdue on this current warming cycle and there is little we can do to stop what's coming.
The results of that is global cooling and glaciers advancing. Trump is absolutely correct.
Do your research. 1) Commercial wind turbine destruction of millions of birds, 2) cost to build (subsidized by tax dollars), 3) wind turbines prices have gone up not down, 4) cost of Decommissioning a turbine is $ 700,000 due to the rotor blades contain glass and carbon fibers that give off dust and toxic gases. 5) China makes 75% worlds solar panels 6) Corruption in U.S. tax dollars billions Solyndra 7) China cutting throats at Solar panels from China are "killing domestic manufacturing," according to the head of the Solar Energy Manufacturers for America Coalition. 8) The use of forced labour in the solar panel industry, particularly among the Uyghur population in China, has been a growing concern. Reports have linked several solar companies with factories in Xinjiang to forced labour practices, particularly for workers from the Uighur minority. 9) Just like nuclear waste you have this By 2050, the International Renewable Energy Agency projects that up to 78 million metric tons of solar panels will have reached the end of their life, and that the world will be generating about 6 million metric tons of new solar e-waste annually. 10) Last but not least Phone and electric car batteries are made with cobalt mined in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Cobalt Red author Siddharth Kara describes the conditions as a "horror show." 11) US tax payers pick up on cost of ownership of EV cars via tax credit, 12) USA power grid Most of the U.S. electric grid was built in the 1960s and 1970s. Today, over 70% of the U.S. electricity grid is more than 25 years old, and that aging system is vulnerable to increasingly intense storms. 13) A severe electromagnetic pulse (EMP) or geomagnetic disturbance (GMD) event could take the power grid down for months, and possibly even for years. An EMP is a very intense pulse of electromagnetic energy, typically caused by the detonation of a nuclear bomb or other high-energy explosive device 14) Look up Carrington Event 15) Solar flare from sun onto earth see # 13) 1859 Prove me wrong
So is owning an EV cheaper in the long run? All signs point to possibly. Maybe. Sometimes. But as we said, at this point in time, it’s complicated.

That will teach these folks that they have to have their EV's stored in a temperature controlled climate for charging. Perhaps they can redesign the battery packs to have a separate heating jacket for the battery. Plug that in separately and use electricity to heat the battery to the optimal temperature to charge. Either way, the amount of energy required to charge EV's seems to be getting less and less efficient, as time goes by. What we really need is a much more efficient and energy dense battery technology. A battery that lasts at least 20 years and has a wider temperature range. Ideally capacitors would be the best solution, if they could ever create super capacitor that could serve as a dense enough charge storage. Capacitors can last a very long time. Some in excess of 50 years and still going, but these are predominantly low voltage.
How many of these owners have college degrees? Probably all.
Behold the greater intelligence of higher education pumping out brainiacs who couldn't figure out driving a 100% electric vehicle where it snows is retarded.
Yesterday, I used my Ford app to start my F150 from the grocery checkout lane so it would be nice and warm when I brought my groceries out. Thanks Ford!
More proof that electric vehicles, wind turbines and solar panels are all UNRELIABLE when it comes to saving your life from the elements and very costly to build and operate.
It’s fine to have a Tesla as a second vehicle to zip around in. Just don’t pretend that it’s reliable or environmentally friendly.
and don't force them on us.
Most important point. And that applies to everything
But how would the Globalists peddle their Chinese lithium?
Or make sure you can't go anywhere?
IMO ---- the globalist are just rigging the system so the locals can't compete ---- and you have to buy their globalist solution --- of which they have a monopoly.
...... even if it is a shit solution ----- which it is.
Very true!
No it’s not they are a massive strain on the power grid.

She should have waited for an electric tow truck. You are either in or not.
That was a major reality check!
That sounds like an expensive fill er up!
and there goes the day....i hope she didnt have kids she needed to pick up
Holy shite!
what a freaking mess! did this convince her of what a bad idea electric vehicles are? i surely hope so.
Of course not. Don't be silly! She's convinced she's saving the environment.
Schadenfreude.

'DARK WINTER' it will get worse, not a doomer, but we will win.
For once somebody agrees with me. Yes the next year is gonna be lit. It’s going to get worse before it gets better. I agree 100%.
But for some reason… I’m really unbothered. 😂🤣.
We will win.
FEELS GOOD MAN!
Only the people who were dumb enough to drive electric cars in Winter.
On the plus side, they can all stay warm around a car campfire.
Yup! For days probably. Those fires are very difficult to put out. I live in an area with a fairly high population of people from India. I don't know why, but it seems Indian guys are in love with Teslas. Not the women, just the men.
Can a depleted battery still combust?
Two of the most dangerous conditions for lithium batteries are fully charged and fully discharged.
I did not know that. I should probably do something about that shoebox of old cell phones, then.
Yes.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement for solar power.
Pure electric vehicles are never going to work. Only way is hybrid or hydrogen.
…or water run car even though they killed the guy that invented that…
Yes - hydrogen or water. I do believe we are on the verge of having these technologies go main stream.
For the record, I hate oil. I hate that our government and foreign governments have so much control over supply, demand and pricing. Hope no one takes my “electric won’t work” as being pro-oil.

I'm watching Toyota & their hydrogen car closely.

Water powered engines only works on flat earth.
Or Youtube... Kek!
Water will freeze.
Zero-point.
The thing that gets me is that if they read the fucking manual, they wouldn't be in this predicament.
Imagine the inconvenience of calling up Uber for a week. Or having a backup ICE vehicle for the conditions!
Spacy cadets aren't 'Star_ Commanders' ;)
Aren't a lot of Uber's electric as well?
i could have had a V8...oh wait i still do hemis rock
Who ever could have seen this coming? I’m shocked.
These people should have listened to Trump . Some green brain asked him about Global Scam Warming . His response. It will get cooler. Hahahahah

we need a colder cold snap... and it needs to be all February long!!! they can burn their cars to stay warm!
I hear those batteries burn for a long time.
Should help with driving away the hordes of third-worlders who aren't accustomed to cold weather.
😂

Funny how they emphasise this is Tesla issue.
We know it’s all EVs.
EVs suck in the cold.
Oh you sweet summer child.
Enjoy your electric joke

I LOVE it!
All of these cars have external combustion engines.

LOL, lithium can’t charge below freezing. Typically batteries will shutdown if they have a temp sensor
Now you tell us, I think I hear, "Waking in a winter wonderland"
How many of these owners have college degrees? Probably all.
Behold the greater intelligence of higher education pumping out brainiacs who couldn't figure out driving a 100% electric vehicle where it snows is retarded.
This is not a cold weather vs EV problem. This is a poor planning problem. Like running out of gas in a combustion engine vehicle.
Been driving my EV in cold weather for years without a single charging problem.
Yesterday, I used my Ford app to start my F150 from the grocery checkout lane so it would be nice and warm when I brought my groceries out. Thanks Ford!
