Only a company filled with the most retarded people sitting on iconic brands like Batman, Superman, Harry Potter, lord of the rings, and other high profile characters could lose billions annually.
These people thought it’d be funny to release a video game having the mentally ill woman character execute Batman in the swan song gig of the decades long journey for that voice actor and some other stupid dick commentary.
I get there are people who don’t care about the properties or the characters, or the history.
But it’s crazy that there doesn’t seem to be people care about money either.

Warner Brothers had 8 years to make a video game and they made “Suicide Squad: kill the justice league” where it’s not shocking what you do there.
Kevin Conroy had been the voice of Batman since 1992 animated series. He IRL died in 2022, but he gave his voice one last time to this project. Where they had Harley Quinn execute him during a cut scene.
He signed onto it, that was his choice. But holy fuck a man gave 30 years to you Warner Brothers and that’s how you send him off you dirty fucks? No heroic sacrifice that just didn’t work because the player character (playing the villain) was better? No… just a tank and spank then execute.

I would count that they named her Michael, but one of the actresses on The Waltons was named Michael Learned.
It caused enough confusion that she was credited as "Miss Michael Learned" for the first several years.
She doesn't know why she was named that, either: "All (my father) told me was that if I had been a boy, I would have been named Caleb, but I was a girl, so I was called Michael."

Paramount Plus used to be one of the very few channels I regularly subscribed to because it had Yellowstone and other Taylor Sheridan written programs like the Yellowstone prequels, Lioness, Tulsa King, Those Who Wish Me Dead, Sicario, and a few others.
Paramount never seemed to me to be a badly woke as the others. I'm sorry to hear that they are falling off a cliff before super woke channels like Starz, Netflix, and Disney
It’s not Paramount+ that’s shutting down it’s the TV production studio arm of Paramount. And it’s teally not that major and kind of expected heading into the merger with SkyDance Productions. They are trimming bloat - probably a ton of DEI hires - but will continue to produce shows like Yellowstone, etc. under a leaner version, most likely under a revamped Paramount Studios or Skydance Productions. Whatever the new name of Paramount becomes after the merger.
Yeah, with you here. We have, for the most part, thoroughly enjoyed P+ in recent years...primarily for the Taylor Sheridan-produced/written shows, but also because of my lifelong guilty pleasure -- all things Star Trek. (Yes, I know...has often reached peak woke in the past decade, but I still enjoy the 60's and 90's TV shows and movies.)
Watched new season of “Seal Team”. The badassery was great but they were in Europe training some NATO soldiers and had to save a mall full of immigrants from gun toting “super Nationalist white guys” causing havoc because they hate poor peaceful immigrants.
