These things are great to watch on Steve Inman's videos - especially with his "Ludacris Cam". For those of you who don't like "colorful language" maybe you should skip these. They are hilarious though - Steve puts several of these out each day. I found him on Truth Social a couple of years ago when he started posting them there.
Back in the day they would be meet ups to race and “crap talk” matchups after a long week. This is just the same version of that in today’s standards. Interesting for me is that today it’s mostly black people that do this. I find that odd because back then it’s was mostly white and Mexican folks. Where is everyone at? And as long as they aren’t really endangering innocent people, I don’t have a problem with it. I’ve been charged for “messing up the asphalt” myself in the past. Hey it’s my tires, I ain’t messing up nothing, lol.
Honestly people have made their way to the track. Sometimes there will be a dedicated drag track that people can use in off weekends and during the week and stuff. Most find their way there because they are tired of running from the law. But my brothers and sisters here are keeping it old school! It’s wild, no doubt. 😁

LoL. My dad grew up in and around Chicago back then, he says the Italian guys were the best and worst. As rough as any gangster and as loyal as any brother, if you were friends with one(them). My dad was present during those racing on those backstreets and parking lots for years. He didn’t participate as much tho, if any. Was high stakes and people got hurt. He made sure his friends were with him, and I always hear about his Italian buddy. Was exciting times. And he loved it. His best memories.
