Dyer wolf remains and paw prints were found in the wild and scientifically confirmed a couple of years back. It was on several episodes on Skin walker ranch where they found them.
Makes me want to watch Jurassic Park to hear all of Ian Malcolm’s warnings on bringing back long extinct creatures. Here’s the one that immediately came to mind, I did a little paraphrasing:
this isn’t some species that’s been obliterated by deforestation or the building of a dam; the dire wolf had their shot and nature selected them for extinction.
“Company executives often frame the technology not just as a moral good, but a moral imperative—a way for humans, who have driven so many species to the brink of extinction, to get square with nature.”
Since their births, the dire wolves have lived on a 2,000-acre ecological preserve at a location in the U.S. that Colossal also keeps secret to protect the animals
If these animals have been "genetically engineered" into existence, then are they really the dire wolves of old, or just artificial simulacra of the originals?
I have no objection to bringing some extinct creatures back to life, but why in the world did these people start with a dangerous extinct predator? Wouldn't something a little more harmless have made more sense?
Wonder what kind of canine disease this could bring to the domestic dogs we have now? I see nothing good coming from bringing extinct animals back from the dead. We have moved on and do not need new varieties of pathogens from extinct animals. IMO
Oh, sh**!! Playing God never, ever turns out good.
There's a whole series of movies about that, if I recall ...
...pterodactyls next...
u/#howl
I'm waiting for ManBearPig....
If only they could clone trad wives.
Er, they can. You'd need trad Dads, and not cloning exactly, but you've got the technology Uncle_Fester.
We might need to call a plumber
Plenty of trad dads around, you just can't see them because they aren't out catting around.
Was that a personal comment, skidmark?
Not Extinct.
Or PuppyMonkeyBaby. 😳
"I'm waiting for ManBearPig"
...ohhhh myyyyy....
I want to see the Dodo Bird back again.
Don’t we have enough dodos in DC?
Dodo werent unintelligent, they just had no natural predators so they didn't evolve a fear response.

Oh great. Now one will probably escape from a Wuhan Lab... and cause us to need to "vaccinate" again.
After that, liberals will claim that the dire wolf is causing Climate Change.
" liberals will claim that the dire wolf is causing Climate Change."
...never let any reincarnated extinct creation go to waste...
Long lost cousin eh?
"Long lost cousin eh?"
...and penniless like the rest of them...
...howls...
At least blame the dodo
You want werewolves? That's how you get werewolves.
Can they do velociraptors next? I want a pet Dinosaur.
I mean nothing could possibly ever go wrong.
I really want those bbq wings. I love wings.
Winter is coming.
Dragons are next.
And white walkers…
Those are what we see at the Anti-Elon protests.

The evidence has been mounting that it was a comet impact that "selected" them for extinction.

Tastes like 💩to me!

That line had me fuming. Leave it to idiots to “correct” nature and make it all more equitable. FAFO.
So, bring back the Dodo bird.. fitting. 😂
How about bring back intelligent man.
Oh, just great….next, they’ll be bringing back Howard Cosell.
T-Rex t bones sound great. Flintstones chain restaurants everywhere.
You expect dinosaurs to eat democrats? Good God, man, that would be cruelty to animals!
They want people to live in cities and fear nature.
Once again, they can eat a bag of dicks.
Skinwalker ranch folk have a story about seeing one, science might yet again be grifting
Tsk, tsk. You’re not trusting the science.
Damn. I hope they don't bring back democrats after they become extinct.
Stay on the road. Keep clear of the moors. Beware the moon, lads.
"That's not Winston!"
Thats cool. Now do plesiosaurus
Comms. Thats it. The rest is lies.
The animal rights nuts want to release them into their old range in 3-2-1.
Cant wait for the extra aggressive super floof
Unimpressive. I made a Diarrh wolf in my backyard by tossing out old steaks into the yonder
I bet I know why. "It's coming right for us!

I was expecting someone to comment that this wolf walked across the Dire Straits🤣😂
